    Dear Tony.
    So amazed to hear your possitive attitude on display. I suspect I would struggle with anger and bitterness for ages, were I to lose my eye.
    Terrible for you to have to go through, but glad you at least found some comfort in the melodious tones of the voice of Mr. Cornette.

    Honestly in regards to politics, I would've thought Jim wouldn't take anyones side. I would've expected him to say that they're all in cahoots and are there to give you the illusion of having a choice in what happens. Which is what I believe.

    • @rickyhunt4075
      @rickyhunt4075 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are clear ideological differences between the two parties. Actually differences in the parties it isn't all the same.

    • @rickyhunt4075
      @rickyhunt4075 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The point about he illusion of choice is true but that's because of the Electoral College and the fact that if you are a democrat that lives in Texas or a Republican in New York you have no choice and your vote doesn't matter except in local electiona

    • @rickyhunt4075
      @rickyhunt4075 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @John Doe I am not disagreeing just to argue just pointing out the differences between the parties. If you can't understand that both parties have different conflicting ideologies then that's your problem.

    • @rickyhunt4075
      @rickyhunt4075 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @John Doe Voting puts people in charge who are going to pursue their agenda. There is not an illusion of choice when there is a real choice being made. People In Alabama voted in really conservative politicians and as a result they have pursued the parties goals on Abortion the people decided that when they voted for those politicians.

    • @rickyhunt4075
      @rickyhunt4075 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @John Doe I am not arguing just to argue I am pointing out that your intense cynicism is misguided and wrong. I mentioned Abortion because it is in the news I could mention anything else Increasing Taxes, Illegal Immigration, Social Programs, etc. If you vote for a Republican you can expect them to try and do something about Immigration Probally increased border security whereas while dems are all over the place on immigration they won't be vigorously pursuing the issue like republicans. Then of course you have things like the Dream act where basically every dem is a supporter but very few Republicans. If you want to see Social Programs be expanded upon or at least not cut then you vote for Dems where they are highly unlikely to cut social programs whereas Republicans make arguments against it with its adding spending and the deficit etc.
      Now foreign policy is a little different and there tends to be more cooperation and agreement on that front there are still marked differences.
      Honestly its becoming more and more obvious that you are a conspiracy theorists who spends way too much time online. You're really no different than flat earthers or people who believe Reptilians are controling the earth. It's always sad to see someone succumb to their lunacy but alas here you are.

    • @fridayeveningsundercard1187
      @fridayeveningsundercard1187 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure how Corny would respond, but it's actually relatively easy to play that off...Lacey says "Why, I just wanted to show that little girl's nasty parents what a touch of class looks like." She actually did something like that over the weekend, I can't remember if I saw it on Twitter or IG, but she was walking into the arena, a bunch of kids a high five, so she stopped, put gloves on, then high fived them. The caption posted said something like "Can't touch the little nasties, but showed class anyway."

Any Militia would be wiped out quickly and any rebellion put down just as quick. It wouldn't do well... He's a complete and utter moron when it comes to politics it's pretty mind blowing actually. I love Jim but for someone who seems to talk like he has a lot of common sense WOWZA... He needs to stick to his fantasy wrestling world with men in tights because politically he sounds like a single mom who only cares about getting ass blasted on sunday.

    • @rickyhunt4075
      @rickyhunt4075 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@RandySavag Actually it would do very well as Jim has been praised for his commentary on Politics. Lots of people love to hear his take in case you haven't noticed by the comments. Jim is a American Citizen and has the right to talk about anything he wants to. He doesn't forfeit his rights just because he is best known as a Wrestling Booker and Manager.
      You Guys are so quick to tell Entertainers of any kind that they should not talk about Politics but they have just as much rights to talk about the Political Landscape as me and you. Once again they didn't give up their 1st Amendment rights when they became Public Figures. Also there is a lot of Hypocrisy among the right for Celebrities sharing their political opinion yet they are only upset if that opinion is left leaning. If they shared anything that can be seen as Right leaning then they are praised by the right. Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, Melissa Joan Hart, Kevin Sorbo, Curt Schilling, Stacey Dash, Dennis Miller, Kanye West, have all been praised by right wing media for sharing their opinions on Politics. Then of course you have Arnold Schwarznegger and Donald Trump 2 celebrities being elected to Office by Right Wingers who never seemed to have a issue when they shared their opinion. How wonderfully hypocritical.
      And lastly saying Jim is clueless about politics is ridiculous. He clearly follows politics and knows about various issues. It is complete Ignorance to say someone doesn't know anything about politics because they have a different opinion than you. No one is right it's all opinion. You saying that Jim knows nothing would be like me saying Ben Shapiro knows nothing and is a complete moron when it comes to politics. Jim has a different opinion than you Doesn't mean he doesn't understand Politics extremely narrow minded to think that way.

    Jim is such a wrestling nerd that his extensive knowledge of the industry is ironically what hinders him from seeing things they way fans do. He couldn't even see the appeal in The Ultimate Warrior that Vince was looking for.

      What was his appeal?

    • @Keranu
      @Keranu 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rickyhunt4075 Hell if I really know. Vince wanted a new Hulk Hogan that wasn't bald. I guess there was something to wild, free spirited and insane attitude combined with a Tarzan body that the audience, kids especially, loved. An 80's madman.

      @rickyhunt4075 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Keranu I mean He was terrible in the ring, didn't care nor understand the business, gassed quickly, and never wanted to lose. I never saw any appeal he had. I know Simon from Whatculture said he loved Warrior as a kid so I guess Kids liked him. I mean he was a worse version of Hogan because Hogan at least knew how to take in the emotion from the auidence and play them Warrior couldn't even do that.

      @@rickyhunt4075 Everything Cornette has said about Warrior and what you reiterated is all true, more or less. Basically, I think Cornette is too smart to identify with the fans and could've never imagined Warrior would become a big draw, at least for a time.

    Couple things,, would Cody actually make a good face champ? The "Dream" is for him to win it for his Daddy, besides being Dusty's son, what makes Cody a face? All the AEW talk was how unpopular he was, insufferable reality show and all. I think if he gets the belt now, people won't care by Summerslam, and it hurts Roman to lose this lengthy reign. I'd screw Cody over, make him work more for a rematch, build the fan base and then hope that gets a better draw when eventually Cody does become champ.

    Hey Jim I had something to say about the abortion controversy going on right now in America. I am a man, I do not believe that men have a dog in this fight. I believe the states she put it to a vote and only allow women to vote on it. No man has a right to vote on this subject we do not carry children we do not birth children therefore we have no say in whether a woman allows a pregnancy to term. Banning abortion will just lead to Greater instances of poverty and overpopulation with a lot of children that nobody wanted leading the new crime wave. Just like prohibition Banning it will not stop it. It will just become unsafe and very dangerous like it used to be up til the 80s. It won't stop it.

    • @WhatAboutall

      Killing babies should be no ones right, and men have a dog in this fight because they want the public to pay for their baby killings. And when they have the baby, child support & alimony is pushed on men by the courts.
