If you go for the black rubber, are you meant to put in a 40mm pushfit pipe or you are allowed to push in 40 mm solvent weld pipe as well? Will if fit and is it OK by water regs?
Hi Tommy I would be so great fully for help can you get a pipe that would be different size at ether end like a rubber would be more flexible i guess so say the pipe one end would be 10cm an other 6cm to fit in to mu gutter running outlet down spout many thanks
Hi my soil stack is internal . I was wondering if I could just replace the top half of the soil stack with a Tee joint which would allow only the top half to be showing outside , is this a good option to choose ? Or would I have to completely remove it & put it outside ?
I have water feeding back into the toilet from the connecting pipe. It leaves a dirty brown water in the toilet every morning. Any help much sppreciated
I can't get my rubber boss adaptor in to the existing pipe boss. It's way too tight! Is there any way to trim the rubber boss? I dont have room to fit an extra strap boss.
Is it okay to run a boiler condensate pipe into the soil stack using the strap boss? I'm just concerned that any toilet/bath waste could potentially run up into the condensate pipe and into the boiler.
It largely depends on where your boiler is located in the waste system; if there are outlets below the level of the boiler, assuming any blockage has occurred after the last outlet, any backing up will discharge from that outlet, like your toilet pan. If the boiler sits below the other outlets, then anything backing up will fill the boiler.
@@S20Mike Boiler sits on the ground floor so below the toilet and bath etc. Is there any type of pipe that can be used that would stop water/waste from backing up into the boiler? Like a non-return valve?
Have you got a video for installing a mechanical boss pipe? We had a strap on boss...it leaked causing staining on a new ceiling....then had a mechanical boss fitted..now that's leaking! help!

Can a boss pipe have waste entry on opposite sides? Would this infringe the "no connection zone" rule for opposite entries into a soil pipe?
An EXCELLANT video

Brilliant ! .
My Waste pipe that goes into my soil pipe keeps getting blocked!
Top man
if you're solvent welding, just push the pipe straight in - DON'T GIVE IT A TWIST - that is bad practice - you break the joint as it is setting...
