The announcements are so much clearer, this will massively help with accessibility! You'll finally be able to hear them inside the tunnel whilst the train is moving

i Don't see why TFL could of contacted Emma to re-record her announcements displayed on the IPS Adrian's voice way is to flat and robotic almost like its AI This-is-a-Bakerloo-line-train-to-elephant-and-castle

@@timelordgeek16 Emma Clarke was not sacked as she was never employed by TFL so they could not sack her. There is a lot of misleading information saying she was "sacked" or "fired" which is simply untrue. TFL simply decided to stop using her due to her spoof recordings and her comments about LU she made. It is the same as if you hire a builder and then a few years later when you need new work done you decide to use a new builder instead as you were not happy with something the original one did. But she was certainly not sacked.

People's keep complaining about the new announcements, I personally love them. Theyre not as "warm" as Emma, but rhey are far clearer, with more useful information (such as platforms at Willesden), and although others disagree I find Adrian rather cheerful. Emma was good but times change, its seriously not the end of the world! Good video.
These announcements are temporary for testing trains.
Could someone start a petition to get Emma Clarke's voice back on the Bakerloo and Central lines? Her voice is only present on the unreferbished 1992 and 1972 stocks!

I really like Adrian Hieatt’s new announcements. They are definitely more clearer and concise than Emma Clarke’s. Would be good to know if any other trains have gone for refurbishment at this time.
Central line trains are currently in the process of being refurbished
@ Yh they are, but the refurbishment isn’t going anywhere. The first CLIP central line train enter service in November 2023, and there hasn’t been any news about more of them

Nice train updated it is... Unfortunately, not looking good train to make beauty clean and inside coaches... Those coaches weren't updated to create up properly, because of these loads of damaged train paint off against. Very sad it looks bad now! :(

The 2024 trains are replacing the 1973 ones on the Picadilly Line.

When in the tunnel section of the Bakerloo, surely you don’t step down from the train.
feels like some of the announcements have wayy too much detail in them like "please take care as you step up and mind the gap between the train and the platform" like you don't need to be saying allat
other than that they're fine, imo better than the central line ones

@@tfljunction699 Drivers can set the announcement system to include them or not to include them… they are supposed to be on during the off peak and off during the peak

yes the Adrian announcements on the Bakerloo, Central and Waterloo & City lines are temporary and that Tfl apparently have plans to replace Adrian in the long term with a new permanent female voice
Why don't all the underground lines have Emma Higgnet's voice?
TfL decides which line gets which voice, also, the original voice was Emma Clarke who got fired in 2007
