    Been looking for a new mouse due to mine having an issue with the scroll. Came across the hyperspeed and looked up a review, which brought me to you. You made the video short, concise, and very informative. It was great quality and you give me all the information I was looking for.

      I also find it very light. Just got one after asking my parents for one for christmas as I couldn't justify the price. Only held if for a fe mins and no gaming yet as still using my wired but it feels SUUUPER light in comparison

    With a 7 gram lithium AAA battery and a blob of tin foil, it will come in at 90g, making it the lightest wireless mouse with a MX5XX-esque thumb groove and overall G502-like shape.
    ...Behind the Roccat Kone Pro Air, which is 75 grams, but that mouse is more than double the price and deviates more from the G502's shape.

    • @ECPUz
      @ECPUz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nice! I agree, the Basilisk seems like an awesome all-around mouse. But the weight would keep me from using it as my main everyday mouse for gaming. I'll keep using the Viper Ultimate for gaming.

    I've never used wireless gaming gear like mice, keyboard or headphones but this is my first one. I've never been a fan of razer since it always feels cheap/plastic but I got the mice for 40 bucks. So really looking forward to try it. I like the "hidden" usb inside the mouse if you want to travel around with a laptop aswell.

      haha... the Burst Pro is amazing, so good choice there! The only thing that holds me back from the Burst Pro is the wire - I much prefer wireless. The Basilisk is pretty awesome for the price, but the weight is a big difference from a mouse like the Burst Pro.

    I bought a Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed mouse about 2 weeks ago that had defective switches. The switches were not "clicky" at all and the right mouse button would trigger almost by breathing on it. I took the mouse back to Best Buy and traded it for another one that has better, but still not great, switches. Overall, I love the mouse, from the size to the weight, to the shape of it. I just wish Razer had seen fit to equip it with a better grade of switch that had more "clicky" feel.

  • @MakinaDeMuerte
    @MakinaDeMuerte 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Really nice looking mouse. No RGB. I don't use the scroll wheel so whatever. Not rechargeable. The right click on mine has stopped holding down-I need to blow into the right click to get it to work right. The left and right click both wiggle and make the mouse rattle. Lift some weights if you need a light mouse. Also save your money. All the wireless mice right now seem to have some issues. I'm still using this mouse because I've basically heard the same bad things about every other mouse as this one.

    aaa Enegiser lithium with an adapter or a cut-off adapter end is a great way to keep the weight down.
    I do this for my Logitech g305 and it drops the weight off the back of the mouse quite considerably.
    Takes about 14 grams off the weight compared to using an Energiser max aa battery.
    Very noticeable and the battery lasts for months with a few hours usage every day.

    60 USD :-D In my country 83 :-D It's really ridiculous that we have to pay more for everything and we have 1/3 of US salary.
    BTW what about input lag? That's the most imporant thing on wireless mouse and nobody speaks about that, really strange. I wasted many money for different wireless mouses and it always had terrible input lag so I always switched back to wire. Is this Razer ok? Can you feel some delay?

    Best mouse = mouse that last long (without breaking)

  • @lukepat8861
    @lukepat8861 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    There are disconnection issues on pc, it disconnects for 2 seconds (the mouse doesn't work in those moments, you're completely out of the game) and then reconnects. It happens every 15 mins (tested on pc and 2 notebooks). The fun fact is that it works perfectly fine on xbox series x (played 2 hours without a single disconnection).

    • @lukepat8861
      @lukepat8861 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Chad Meckstroth The disconnection issues are real, there are literally everywhere people with the same problem. Sadly you're the lucky one, this mouse randomly disconnects and it's a shame, because it could be an excellent mouse for its price (i think it feels better than 502 for me).

      Based on what I heard from other reviews, I'm pretty sure that the mouse does go to sleep between a span of like 5-30 minutes of no usage depending on the setting you put in synapse. Don't quote me on that though, I don't own the mouse myself and I could just be wrong
