This documentary brings out the perseverance and resilient efforts taken by the Khasi community to preserve the best of Laitmawsiang. Great and sincere efforts taken by SLX and Robin🎉
As a Khasi myself I would really like to thank you for highlighting our culture to the world..we are fighting a war against modernization every day.. It's a tough battle as the govt take no stone unturned to exploit our resources in the name of development... Preserving and prote cting our land at any cost...i got a lil teary eyed watching this.. Thank you
I have spent beautiful time in meghalaya I feel really moved by your documentary It's high time we all woke up and preserved our mother nature before destruction 😢😢😢
Congratulations Robin for creating an outstanding documentary on the Khasi community of Meghalaya! The stunning visuals, informative content, and beautiful backing track truly captured the interdependence between the community and nature. It was a pleasure to watch and learn about the Khasi culture and their sustainable practices. All the best!
Such a beautiful documentary! The story, research, narration kept me on grip, nicely articulated together to showcase this story. And such amazing shots! Meghalaya's beauty has been captured so well. The landscape shots were mind-blowing. Really good work, looking forward for more work like this
Very nice video, it's in our interest that we maintain these cultures which help maintain a positive carbon footprint, afforestation, and combat the toxins and pollutants in the land and air. As it is, rapid development is increasingly making it a losing battle. These cultures are still fighting a battle against the human 'gray goo' that the rest of us are becoming. Not every green park and national park need be converted to the the urban sprawl of a software technology park...
Its brilliant how you captured all the things about this community. And how communities like these stand to suffer due to climate change. Loved the work the grassroots is doing. Good research put together by Subhrasmita. Keep up the good work.
10:43 omg this elder man wearing a scarf that very similar to a Khmer scarf (Cambodian krama), I know Khmer culture is benefited from Ancient Indian but this coincidence is such an interesting fact.
