- The next edition of our Fuzz Factory 7, using two rare, Russian GT308V germanium transistors.
Germanium transistors. What makes them so special? It’s because they turn on faster. Sooner. They get turned on way quicker than any other transistors. Yeah, I got a favorite transistor, the shiny fragile amazing mosfet. But the germanium, bipolar and somewhat easily startled and delicate, that loves getting turned on, is my most memorable transistor. Enjoy. She’s waiting for you, respectable and wonderful, the happiest of all semiconductors, the most delicate and perfect. Rock on.
Where the Fat Fuzz Factory has a 3 position toggle, The FF7 has a nine position rotary switch and covers enormous sonic territory, from earthshaking low frequencies to “dog whistle” (figuratively) high frequencies. The Fuzz Factory 7 also has a passive tone control (with its own switch) to roll off high end if need be.

Great Demo as always. It comes down to you knowing what the f*** your doing, knowledge of pedals , great Guitar playing, experience, you have the use of loopers down. Just watched another version or demo of the Zvex FF7 and it didn't sound special to me. You just have great demos. What bands are you in ? Thanks for the Demo.

Do you run this FF7 on a clean amp or a dirty one in this examples??? I have found that it works better with a cleaner amp, but when i use it on a dirty amp i just must turn the volume of the guitar to 8/10 max and it sound great
It contains non-Russian GT308V transistors, there is a Russian version of this pedal in that GT308V
Do you run it through an octaver or something in the first seconds? (before the actual demo)

i was reading somewhere the NOS black transistors are not 100% necessary when building a clone of this. But can you actually build a clone with the 9 pots this one has???
This pedal is SO expensive. At that price you could get a goatkeeper
