"I fear we all we have done is awaken a sleeping Giant and filled him with a terrible resolve. "... Admiral Yamamoto.
I love how humans are from a Death World.
I wish every story out there didn't have earth as a death world, which is idiotic once, and moronic after the tenth time.
Kinda would like it if we weren't the only deathworlders all the feckin time I prefer my hfy with a fight smart not herd type of humanity
cry more please
WE ARE TERRRANS
RESISTENCE IS FUTILE
WE WILL ADD YOUR TECHNOLOGICAL DISTINCTION TO OUR OWN
AND IMPROVE IT
RESISTENCE IS FUTILE
"ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!"
So humanity is essentially SCP 682.
A forever adapting entity built to survive/outlast almost anything.
We had better be exactly that.
"While striving to find all that is Hidden!"
Moral of the story; stop trying sneak attacks against humanity. We don't like it.
Humans = Pandora’s Box
No
Earth = Pandora's box
As SOON as a show of force was said. Pearl Harbor flashed in my head and i said. ohhhh YOU DONR FUCKED UP
"For we have not lifted them up we have unleashed them" is a fine great line
I love how humans in these types of stories are these badasses who survived on earth that according to aliens is the most dangerous planet
Yet out military works on the greatest invention ever...the pointy stick
funi boom boom stick
You vastly underestimate the power of throwing rocks. Seriously, every modern military weapon is basically just better ways to throw better rocks farther and with more effect.
@@shred1894 Yeah, we won the évolution race arm the moment one of the ancestor went full ougah bugah on a random rabbit with a rock
The story archetype comes from the HFY subreddit. This is either straight up a ripoff of an existing story without or without minor alterations to claim "ownership" or just a AI generated story using the tropes of that subreddit.
Bigge Shoota, goes Dakka, but always needs more Dakka
Elara Miles: " In order to ensure the security and continuing stability..."
... for a safe and secure society!
And 30,000 years later there are a couple of alien species left because Humanity got pissed off and went on a great Crusade...
Sneak attack by aliens. Bad move.
They should have asked the Japanese what human response to sneak attacks was
Never touch our boats or our children
I guess they never seen the late 20th century (saying that makes me feel old smh) film called "Independence day"
Zafira. The little known designer of the Vauxhall people carrier 👍
I too welcome our new Terran overlords.
29:58 "[Our] machinations lay undetected for years, for [we] are [masters] of deception-"
Absolutely loved this story! The idea that the Galactic Council warned other aliens about humans, but they didn't listen, really flips the usual sci-fi trope on its head. It's intriguing to think about humans being the formidable ones in the galaxy. What do you all think makes humans so uniquely dangerous or resilient in these kinds of stories?
i read a book years ago about a soldier i think who went looking for a buddy who disappeared only to find he was fighting a war in space
other species where losing against an incursion and only humans were aggressive enough to stop them.
Our history on this planet and our inseparable partnership with war is probably what makes humans so dangerous. Then there's the fact that humans are incredibly adaptable to almost any environment.
Good point!
masturbatory writing
In my opinion, the best reason would be: "Myelin".
That probably needs a bit of explaining.
Myelin makes our nervous system function incredibly fast. But we (not just humans/mammals, it was pretty early in our evolution) didn't really develop it ourselves, we sort of "absorbed" it from a virus and made it our own. There are other ways to increase the function of the nervous system, but considering how could Myelin is, it could be at the very top.
This sounds like one of my playthroughs of Stellaris
The adjective and adverb count is still to high, but I made it to the 5 minute mark before ejecting. Feels like this was written by an AI and lightly edited.
It isn't
@@Dark_Vekx and that's sad
Not mde by ai is sad? How so? Not terribly written. Subtitles are shit tho
I liked it. Not phenomenal bilut enjoyable

The alien's had to know about our ability to intelligence gather. Did they not see one Bond movie in all that culture exchanging 🤗
they thought the fiction was funny. Until John Wick emerges from the shadows behind the xeno tyrant scum
For the EMPEROR‼️
May I please ask that the highlight of the words be removed? I am often where I cannot listen to audio, so I use silent mode and just read. If there is a way to make the words scroll almost like a Star Wars opening credit, then that would be an awesome option. It’s a lot to ask for someone doing this for free for others…but I have subscribed and will pledge support.
🙏
You could experiment with TH-cam subtitles. Maybe they make it worse, maybe they help
Aliens - lets give hummanity super technlogy which push thier advance to 200 years to future! So they can join galactic alliance!
HUmanity - nice stuff... Can we use it to even faster killing eachoter?
Aliens - ... WHAT?
The moment I hear "In the great expanse of the cosmos....." I face palm and move on to the next video
They have to fill the time with something!
Are you saying the Cosmos isn't expensive?
Well in case that face palm obscures your vision the Cosmos is a little bigger than your local.shopping centre and quite expansive and the late Carl Sagan was clear on that point and no face palm needed and your next video might be his on the Cosmos 😅
@@stephenconnell so you are one of those.
Anyway, it has nothing to do with the size of the universe. In case you haven't realised, a lot of channels have started using AI to write stories and those stories often have the same kind of wording with similar terminologies. And to be honest, they are never worth the read/listen.
ONI has enter the galaxy
Humanity, physically is not the threat. Most, and as a species, will lie by every contrivance and nefarious means to gain an advantage over you, and even over themselves. That is what misanthropy is all about.
Said the human
It at one time sounds very familiar to an old story I heard years ago on youtube but it also uses a lot of words and phrases the AI that writes stories is fond of.
I got no proof but this does not feel like an original story written by a human.
A human reading a lot of stories to get the feel of them might unknowingly adopt a lot of those words
I have to wonder if earth here looks like coruscant from star wars
I've been binging these and forgot to sub. Tossed a sub! Thanks for the content

One definition of friend is someone that you use. The best definition of friend is someone that you use to "their" advantage. If you are not looking out for the best interests of the ones you use, then you are not a friend. My father was a Satan worshiper and, like this story, followed the first definition of friend and always wondered why he was always alone among the stars.

i like it ^^
We are the humans(swarm)
Good, but not real from superior aliens
GREAT VIDEO
As soon as I hear "un" in one of these, I'm out.
Incredible story!
I sorta like the story but it does feel incomplete, repeat itself too much and also skips a lot.
AI generated youtube fodder to entice the algorhitm, not actual viewers.
8:16 *Half-Life flashbacks* Oh shit-
a lot of your ending neet a 2ed part

Great story 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Garage AI content
Sigh. How many channels of AI drivil are going to flood hfy!?? Can't find actual good new stories anymore!! It's even worse than the r/IDWH repetitive drivil.
And then everyone clapped as the aliens laughed.😢
ok
Yep, that's humans for you, always sticking their noses into everybody else's business...😮💨
Impressing how far AI story composing have come, even voice is near perfect, but still lack signs of breathing between words and sentences.
Hi
filthy Xenos acting like they were made in Gods image. They were not.WE WERE BORN TO INHERIT THE STARS
AI narrator = untrustworthy & low quality
Chapter headings. Blah.
getting rid of cars and planes is ridiculous given humanities individualism (an asset not a hindrance)
Quote, _"Cars and planes became obsolete for most urban dwellers, replaced by efficient public transit systems using antigravity and hyperspeed technologies."_ Cars? Unlikely, but a big maybe. But you can't just replace *planes* with a public transit system - unless they're bullet trains traveling in near vacuum tunnels that cross oceans and circle the globe.
Many seem to forget that *not everyone* lives in cities where almost every sort of business one could desire is close by and one can travel to work or see a medical specialist or find whatever food or leisure you want within minutes. As of 2020, only 44% of the world's population lived in cities, with 43% in towns and suburbs, and 13% in rural areas.
And what the heck are "hyperspeed technologies"? Is that like "lightspeed" in Star Wars? I had expected this tech dump on humans to include something like transporters, wormholes or short range teleportation. But, apparently not. Antigravity implies *flying cars* (or buses) and antigrav planes, which are just sci-fi versions of automobiles and planes as they should look and function similarly.
@@XpaceTrue no absolutely not no no no no they'll take my car over my cold dead body molon labe currus (in case the text itself doesn't denote it I'm half kidding about the harshness of my statement if not the central point)
on the one hand, claims "original story, written and owned by me!"
Next line, tries to defend themselves by quoting "fair use" provisions.
Then doesn't acknowledge the ACTUAL author of the piece.
Another bot-driven, read by text-to-speech channel that just steals other people's work without attribution.
Channel blocked with blocktube. I for one won't be party to supporting this kind of bullshit.
I don't subscribe to robots.
Sorry didn't subscribe earlier ❤
Nope.
5:00 Not at all edited in an intelligent manner! Pls. do a better job next time!
Human's are starting to be A,Holes
Use ur real voice then they'll talk
Written like a report .. bland...
This is so bad, and the narration is even worse.
Your highlighting of words as they are spoken is so irritating that I will never watch this channel again.
I don't like this
