i get Size Mismatch error on the NVR (16TB - 8TB). any sugestions? i tried a 15TB size. does it need to be power of 2?

Only allows for 8TB and below nothing more. Older firmware versions on the Hikvision brand used to allow for more but not anymore. I believe it is due to stability.

3:55 NOOOO. NOOOOOOOO. Don't give full access to everyone! NOBODY should follow this tutorial like this. You're even giving read/write access to GUEST! That's like leaving the front door of your house open while you're going to work. Admin, Os and Guest don't need access to your recordings. At 4:05 you are even giving all internal users full access! What the hell is wrong with you? What you need to do instead, is create a new account, only for your IP camera, and only give that account write access. And of course any actual users (like yourself) needs read/write access. And nobody else. Not admin. Not guest. Not os. No interal users.

You have given RW permissions to everyone, including guest account and all inbuilt system accounts. Thats a security blunder that you propagated to every viewer without giving any heads up or warning them of consequences.
And there is no need for this weird background music. It is very hard to understand what you speak.

Completely useless. Because the next time you log into NVR, you will see “disk not initialized.” Although the initialization was successful and even a couple of minutes of video were recorded. This problem is not one year old, but Hikvision will not solve it.
