Bendix Intellipark Operation on a Thomas Built Bus (BW5029)

Created with bus drivers in mind, this video provides an overview of the Bendix® Intellipark® electronic parking brake technology on vehicles from Thomas Built Buses. The Intellipark solution is designed to help drivers prevent rollaway and runaway crashes caused by an improperly set or disengaged parking brake. The system replaces the manual air parking brake with easy-to-apply electronic switches, that work through interlocks installed in critical areas. When the interlock conditions are met, the system engages the parking brake if the driver forgets.
