The way I’m reading Promising Bureaker is that the name of the counters it uses is “craps experiment (Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, that creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn.)” counters, as in that whole thing is the name of the counter.
Shouldn't this have hit the land with cmc in the bingo card? But it has no power/toughness & is a creature but not a creature land?? This also hits AI gave up halfway
Since it is parenthesized, italicized text, that exalted 2 ability is considered reminder text. Reminder text is there to explain mechanics, but is explicitly not part of the actual rules text of the card. (This is also the reason why extort doesn’t change the color identity for commander). Therefore, it isn’t part of the counter name. This means that we must assume that the craps experiment counter gives an ability like keyword counters do, and the counter reminds us about what it is. Having the reminder text before the word counter is not how WotC would do it, but I don’t think its technically wrong.
@@pyrotempestwing yeah in that case, sure. I’d actually really like them to bring out a card that gets really confusing with what is a card/mechanic name in the next unset now that you brought that up.
"Exile all other nonland permanents and exile up to one target creature. Untap it" But what if one or more of creature had "It's still a land"? You wouldn't be able to exile it with the first part.
When would the X for number of 1/1 tokens for Rampaging host be evaluated? Does it forever stay the same value as it was when it was played, or is it re-evaluated each upkeep when the effect activates?
it's evaluated whenever the ability is on the stack. It will use the amount of X current at time of resolving. So even when the ability is on the stack all changes while being there will be taken account for.
Would the value of X not simply change for the Rampaging host? So, you want to cast it early to get value, and then as the game goes on it gets more power?
Is the thing about stealing cards you take control of a running joke or is it an actual problem in tournaments? Asking because my only experience has been at a local store where taking control of opponents' cards doesn't really happen often.
11:38 You'd only have to sacrifice an enchantment and you'd be able to counter the spell, but the search would do absolutely nothing. It doesn't add to hand and it doesn't put it in play, so it would just be searched, then shuffled. Simic demons seem to be oh so very confused about what they want to do... 😆
For the card with (x) casting and the (x) described in the ability, if there were abilities that triggered as it enters or is cast, then you'd use the casting cost but afterwards, that (x) is forgotten. So then the ability's takes precedence. Given that card had no casting or enters abilities, there's no reason to pay anything but 0 for that (x).
Yeah, there's been less "choose one" in the AI lately, especially with redundant options. Also, what even is, "in case I lose that"? Usually I get what the squares are meant for. If it were still "play to lose", we'd have the square marked off, though still no bingo.
The example you're looking for is giving a Crew ability to a permanent without printed power and toughness. You can activate the ability, but it will instantly die when it resolves because it has undefined toughness and the game sets undefined numbers to zero.
Saheali of Ire is just a win the game for its ultimate, because no one wants to get mugged. They simply scoop to prevent it, unless they don't have planeswalkers.
Ok bro the card that was x1 then create x tokens works like this X1-pay any amount (but for what?) so pay 1 it enters. Then for ALL OPPONENTS you create tokens equal to the cmc of ALL THIER CREATURES! The crew tried to straighten you out. But as usual..........🙄
Nexus is in the right colors for The Beamtown Bullies in commander and isn't legendary so you can bin him, give him to qn opponent, and have them lose immediately. Then give another player Leveler and thats a second player eliminated.
personally I think the rules would work better if you were restricted from crossing off more than one bingo square in a single round. Otherwise people push for whatever they can argue instead of picking the most interesting one, and then later more fitting examples don't have anything left to cross off
32:30 Really need a "Player death or injury" bingo square

@ I suppose my argument might be better if it had a silver border.
@@pyrotempestwing yeah in that case, sure. I’d actually really like them to bring out a card that gets really confusing with what is a card/mechanic name in the next unset now that you brought that up.
That Demon Demon card makes you search your library but not shuffle it afterwards. It gives value to the previous card that was just a forced shuffle.
"In what format is Goblins broken?"
Hmmm... pauper? 🤔
There is a huge difference between 1 less to cast and red less to cast.
46:30 A card like Time to Bloom needs to be a bingo spot: has 4 or more abilities and all of them work
"Exile all other nonland permanents and exile up to one target creature. Untap it" But what if one or more of creature had "It's still a land"? You wouldn't be able to exile it with the first part.

"It hypnotized me" had me rolling
19:50
Can be sideboard to counter a popular Rise of the Dark Realms deck or soemthing. Get this + Instant speed discard.
53:39 Pull for the Night seems pretty good if you turn-1 a Cacophony Scamp or Fireblade Charger.
3:55
When playing for ante I'm sure they'd have made a planeswalker ultimate ability like that.
My favorite series
GOATED card, so Black Lotus gives you a card, Ancestral draws you 4, Moxen being sacrificed or destroyed...
ancestral aint on the battlefield
Rampaging Host is a 4/4 for 1 & makes buku insect tokens! Also this hits the bingo for what is x for!
Would the value of X not simply change for the Rampaging host? So, you want to cast it early to get value, and then as the game goes on it gets more power?
5:00 You gotta scoop before that ultimate resolves
Archfiend of despair would work. 1:01:53
21:22 is this not land with mana cost on the bingo?
12:34 it would just ass a generic mana to your mana pool upon being cast
The last card combos with the slug planeswalker from earlier to hit everyone for 4! Synergy!!!
Time from bloom doesn't kill itself. The ability kills the card type creature when creature is actually it's plainswalker type
Is the thing about stealing cards you take control of a running joke or is it an actual problem in tournaments?
Asking because my only experience has been at a local store where taking control of opponents' cards doesn't really happen often.
26:21 it looks like AI sending a message. It stuck in a desert and car hunts it. AI asks for help
11:38

Actually it doesn't say to shuffle, so it basically allows you to know all your future draws.
26:14
But the flavor text is a complete sentence with an actual meaning.
Is that a first? 😂
Not ai

Rause charger is pretty ziber. Also the morkeys is in reference to blending the name of motorcycle and monkey into one.
I can't believe that bingo sheet; so many squares crossed off without a single bingo.
Yeah, there's been less "choose one" in the AI lately, especially with redundant options.
Also, what even is, "in case I lose that"? Usually I get what the squares are meant for. If it were still "play to lose", we'd have the square marked off, though still no bingo.
42:00 Don't think it's 100% correct actually. A cost should has a target right? Should be "Put a +1/+1 counter on a creature."
Greatest of all time = goat

Qh, I figured the AI was sounding rather sane recently...
Saheali of Ire is just a win the game for its ultimate, because no one wants to get mugged. They simply scoop to prevent it, unless they don't have planeswalkers.
The mad max refrence reminds me of mad max bernie
Untilseft, being a new type could enter in any player control. Until another untilseft is played on that player.
"Steal", means Strategically Transferring Equipment to Alternate Location. 😂
Ok bro the card that was x1 then create x tokens works like this

Magus of the Master Tecknicia commits tax evasion

Today I learned that 1,2,3,4,5 has 6 numbers in it
I wish there was one of these ai streams each day lol, but i assume it would get boring after a while
I would also run out of AI cards after a day :P They replenish once every 2 weeks
51:00 Naw, in 1 on 1 this is broken. It's not legendary, and there are other goblins that reduce colorless. Basically all goblins become free.
There’s already an enchantment in alchemy that does the same thing and draws a card each turn. So no not broken at all
@CommanderGinyu It's not as broken because it's an enchantment, so it doesn't lower it's own cost.
Hot take: FDN feels like a set that was generated by AI and then filtered a bit by R&D to make stuff playable.
LOL secret discounted mana cost, I'll just play another spell and not explain where the extra mana came from.
personally I think the rules would work better if you were restricted from crossing off more than one bingo square in a single round. Otherwise people push for whatever they can argue instead of picking the most interesting one, and then later more fitting examples don't have anything left to cross off
Nexus, the Archfiend play it play Stifle then Fractured Identity
could the card that gave mana to play swamps count as "add random mana"? amazingly enough, still no bingo though
Nexus of archfiend
Manafice it, give it away then flip it
these mofos really need to stfu with the BINGO ALERTS
