Never quit seeking knowledge, and maybe we will have a small percentage of Ed's knowledge. Thanks for sharing
I agree, it’s a pleasure for me to learn something every time I hang out with Ed…
I liked seeing piano wire being put in a groove cut into the top of the block around the cylinders, another story in itself
Ole timers got so much knowledge.wish he was my grandpa..
❤️🙏
Maybe he is…😂
Back where you were showing drilling main bearings plus more oil to the cam and knotcing the dist i need to see again or i will buy your book,Thanks for sharing knowledge!

He sure does
I love to here everything you have to say. Even tho i'm not an speed junky. I'm a metallshape guy. Keep on spreading your knowledge. 💪🤙
I appreciate that!
👍🏻❤️🇺🇲
👍
Seems like it would gum up after awhile.
Good possibility - some of these designs are kind of exotic and likely oriented for racing engines that are disassembled on regular basis… Thanks!
Thats what i was thinking its specific for racing engines that are gone over on regular basis @BarryTsGarage
Yes, you are right on track, no pun intended
Keystone ring sealing?
I’ll ask Ed about that!
What is funny is with all this v8s engines is that a 4 cylinder with hardly anything and a turbo bit the crap of them in the streets and streets.Mostly civics with k20 k24 b16 and even Ds engines 4 cylinders with combos and turbos even others with carbs from bikes carbs webers or 4 barrels carbs .Honda Nissan toyotas . i saw hondas engines 1600 hp twin turbos and now they becoming more powerful with combos and turbos .And a lot cheaper to build then a v8 engines. Now having a old civic turbo 4 cylinder with 600 hp on the streets running on gas is something to hold on weight and hp power dangerous out here this guys beating hell cats like candy and all them are all wheels drive mostly guys from the projects and hills with computers knowledge and junkyards parts .And they drive the civics everywhere every day like regular cars but believe me they really run fast like hell jjjjj 😁
