The first six #HeinekenChampionsCup seasons had seen six different teams lift the trophy.
The last of those had been Leicester Tigers after they beat Stade Francais in the 2001 showpiece. And just 12 months later they were back in the Final again, this time with Munster standing in their way.
Munster were yet to taste European success and they wouldn’t be able to stop Leicester from rewriting the history books as tries from Geordan Murphy and Austin Healey saw the Tigers win back-to-back silverware.
