What the actual fuck. Champions League in Football or Soccer, as we call it, is like the biggest league, so to say Heineken Cup is the equivelant of, is total bullshit, Heineken Cup is equivelant to NZ NPC rugby, it's the bottom. Super Rugby is the equivelant. As everyone knows the worlds top teams are NZ, SA. The northern teams are nothing.
Jacob Family. No. no one would score. It would be 1-0 or 1-1. Only 1 or 2 players on each team kick for goal regularly. Which means they're the only people that could possibly score from the centre line. To score from that far away in rugby is an outstanding kick for any regular kicker, nvm the whole team.
@@jacobfamily4544 becomes harder as every player will have to kick until one team wins, also the pressure of being in a shootout makes it harder, especially when it's in front of the poles, because people expect you to get that over hence all the pressure these players would have felt in this particular shootout. Also remember this would be after them playing rugby for over 100 minutes, so the fatigue adds to the pressure.
Well, it's not like this took a ridiculously long time. Only 2 or 3 players max would be comfortable trying to drop kick, the rest would be an absolute shit show
It is a real thing. If full time is tied, they have 10 minute halves of extra time. If after that it's still tied, they have 10 minute halves of golden point. If after that it's still tied, they do the penalty shoot-out.
I was at this match and Cardiff were 14 points behind with 10 minutes left on the clock, Jamie Roberts scored in the corner, Ben Blair converted from the touchline and then from the restart Roberts made a break and Tom James scored in the same corner and Blair converted from the touchline again. To be fair to Leicester they deserved to win this match, they were the dominant team in the extra time period as well.

hello fellow people from Oct 2019, brought together with the alogarithm
Never ever ever heard about a penalty shootout in rugby, but this is fantastic! I hate rugby usually but I like it a bit more now after this!
making forwards kick penalties to decide a game.. what a joke. hope it never comes to this in international level!
agree, you wouldn't decide a match by seeing which back line wins the most scrums
that would actually be more reasonable than this
Tim McDermott it does go to penalty shootout as well even in the final
Tim McDermott it was because it was even after two sets of extra time
Tim McDermott also watch the 2003 World Cup
The South African kicker did drop goal conversions sometimes to practice for drop Goal conversions in tied matches
KEPA can stop all of these penalties. Greatest penalty stopper/manager ever.
