As heartwarming as this sounds, it still boils down to what the Visa officer will accept. You can also add that you would want to you that opportunity to go for a short vacation with your daughter (with sufficient proof beyond a doubt that you can sponsor all). I hope that helps.
You should always wait to book your flight ticket until you have your visa in hand ..tell them you hope to get your visa first ..this will help you out

I think it all depends on the purpose of visitation, who is sponsoring and the type of question the visa officer will ask.
Please o do they really show prove of funds for tourist visa like how much would that take to be in one account.
Yes you need to show proof of funds and the amount depends on the duration and purpose of visit too.
