  • Last time we installed camber blocks on the new Porsche 992 GT3RS to allow increased camber and better performance on track. This time were back at Donington Park circuit to see how they perform!!
With onboard footage in hand we talk to the driver Leyton Clarke about how the new 992 compares to the 991 on track.

Very great job man! For your next driving videos, it could be possible to fix a camera on the pedalbox to film your footwork please? :)

@@SuspensionSecrets Great, thank you very much! :D As suggestion, for your driving videos, instead of having a "picture-in-picture" view with several angles at same time, you can make an edit with cuts simultaneously between the angles to have one angle on full screen in every moment. It will make the video more dynamic. ;)

Suprised to see it still have a slower lap time than the 991 you did, is this running the CUP 2R and is there more to come from the car?

The tyres play a large part. We have furthered the setup since this day but ultimately we are waiting for the Cup2R tyres to arrive which are worth a couple of seconds a lap. That is the tyre we had fitted to the 991.

It has some JCR silencer tips bolted to the oem back box to help it pass the Donington noise regs 👍

Much that I like this kind of thing, and being true petrol head. You can help but this is purely elite rich boy stuff, I mean have many millionaires are going to 1. Throw their very expensive and rare gt3rs at a track and 2, want to a new lump of metal to make it go 2 tenths quicker lol
And wtf is insuring that for track use I bet it’s eye watering.
    Altogether another league of money.

Thanks for the comment. It’s definitely not your run of the mill track build but it still represents a sector of the industry (the part we are lucky enough to work within) so we thought we would share it with you all 👍
What I will say is you would be surprised by the amount of these cars that are being used in track. A large percentage of them in fact. This is partly due to Porsche being very selective over who got to own one and one of the deciding factors was if you were going to use it for its intended purpose (on track). And to reply to your second point, we are selling these blocks worldwide to lots of GT3 and GT3RS owners who are loving the difference. They provide full seconds as oppose to tenths but more than that…they provide a different level of driving experience and they save your tyres 👍
We hope you enjoyed the video and our future content 👍 and I think we can all agree that if we could we would be doing the exact same thing with our GT3RS’
