Just found out about this pistol today (was carrying a hellcat pro). Saw your video a few hours ago and peeped your reaction at 0:36 - 0:42 and immediately drove to get it and traded my old one in 😂
Love the pro comp, but the trigger is VERY far from light and crisp. It is definitely getting an Apex trigger. The trigger is heavy and mushy. The rest of it though? Fantastic! The grip texture may not seem very aggressive, but my view is that, the more you grip, the more that texture digs in. As soon as you squeeze, that texture locks you in nicely. I like the grip angle. For me, you lift it to your eye line and that dot and the sights are just right there. Everything is slimmed down to be as compact as you can reasonably be. There is no meat on that grip at all. It is the size of the mag plus a couple of millimeters of polymer, that's it. It is a tight, compact package, with a built in comp! The downsides (in my opinion)? The trigger guard is a bit small. I suppose that is a natural consequence of minimizing bulk and dimensions, but it is a bit small all the same. That and, you guessed it, the trigger! It really wants an aftermarket trigger. If you are willing to accept the trigger, or replace it, I say absolutely go for it!
I am waiting to get my hands on the macro through a friend. But if we are going off a pure price point debate the hellcat wins. If it’s shoot ability I will let you know.
@@fullyloadedreviews Glock 43X has plastic mag release. Some people use aftermarket metal mag. Yeah the plastic mag release may need replacement sooner. Metal mag + metal mag release is the way to go, and Hellcat does it out of the box
@@stonebat I knew that but never thought to mention it as something people are looking at. I appreciate bringing it up because now it’s something I am going to look at while doing reviews
@bbazzracing "Is still better"...using the word "still" implies that someone made an argument that it wasn't...I didn't see or hear such an argument, but I'm guessing that you've actually had the Hellcat Pro Comp in your hands and put a few hundred rounds through it and the Macro to determine that it is better? 🧐 At the end of the day, I don't care which one is better, but without evidence beyond an opinion wholly based on other people's opinions, I'm unconvinced... My original comment was a joke about how EVERY pistol gets compared to a SIG these days (often by people who have never even touched the gun in question), which is an evolution from comparing them to Glock for the last 20 years. It's almost laughable.
Everything is better until you get you hands on it and compare. Its like comparing ford and chevy. Ones only better because your great granddad had one that ran for 30 years. Also the sig is $300 more.
Excellent video fellas! HC pro was a winner, I would love to get behind the comped model!
Thanks buddy!
You need to get one!

Great review guys
Thanks buddy!
Great video however how does this particular firearm compared to the Springfield Armory Hellcat RDP model?
Not sure. Haven’t gotten the chance to play with or shoot one yet. I am guessing it’s going to be comparable but in a smaller footprint.
This looks like a winner. Definitely want to see how it compares to the Sig Macro
Definitely want to compare the two
This is a great CCW option
It really is
Is it gonna be release in CA too !? Was literally going to be a hellcat pro this week please let me know
As of right now. It is in the works from what I heard from Springfield but no time line on the approval just yet.
What ammunition did you use?
S&B, Blazer and Igman

Sounds like an APEX trigger is in your future.
I hope they sell this slide/barrel setups.
Agreed!
Thank you.
You’re welcome
ok so...hell cat pro comp vs p365 x macro comp?
I am waiting to get my hands on the macro through a friend. But if we are going off a pure price point debate the hellcat wins. If it’s shoot ability I will let you know.
That looks like it shoots a lot flatter
It really does shoot flatter
👍
Thanks!
mag is metal. oem mag release is metal too. super
I never even thought of that as a good feature.
