Currently using the Yunzii KC68. It’s a great platform for a beginner to tinker. Switches were regular Gaterons but the 5-pin option really makes it fun to test out what I like before I invest in a more expensive board.

I think most people don't use the home, end, page up and page down keys, but I do. They're so freaking convenient. Especially the home and end keys. Say, if you start typing and realize you didn't capitalize the first letter of the first word, you can press the "home" key, fix it and then press the "end" key and keep typing. Or if you need to select a whole row of words, press shift and home and bam, it's done. Why wouldn't you use such a convenient key? If you use a mac I guess you wouldn't need those keys because pressing "command" and the arrow keys will do the same thing, but when using a windows pc, those keys are really useful.

I may be one of the few but I prefer xda related profiles, because the flatness is better for me. I find the other profiles (like oem, sa, cherry for example) hurt my wrist after typing a while. I’m glad they are starting to gain a bit more popularity; hopefully can get a better variety of designs/color ways

Just got this keyboard. It's awesome . I do agree that the USB cord it comes with is pitifully short. But...mint keycaps! And that little space decal! Except that decal falls out ALL THE TIME. Despite these quibbles it's fun to type on.

I use "Home" and "End" a lot when navigating large documents and spreadsheets, especially very large ones.
    * C-Home and C-End to to the start and end of a Word document.
    * Hitting End then an arrow goes to the next blank cell in the direction you are pointing in Excel (and this goes back to 1-2-3). I'll often do End then Down to surf to the end of a column (with thousands of rows), bop over a cell, then hold down shift with and End then up to paste in a formula.
    * I use Page Up and Page Down to scroll through documents, but I'm more likely to use the scroll wheel on the mouse these days. They also advance (or go back) slides in PowerPoint.
This is mostly on my Microsoft Windows WorkTop. While I do use them on my personal MacBook, I tend to favor EMACS key bindings (there are no natural keys on my MacBook itself).
I'm also an Old School dude whose first professional IT gigs were using MS DOS.
TLDR: I tend to use them in Microsoft Office applications at work, but I'm also a dinosaur.

The keyboard database is amazing! Thank you so much! One thing I noticed is that your database says the Redragon Azure isn't hotswap, but some of the reviewers say it is and one has pictures of a couple switches pulled out, and it comes with spare switches that appear to be hotswap, I think. Can you confirm one way or the other? It's on sale for $50 and seems like a Great deal at that price. Lube switches, foam, killer $50 lowpro keeb?
