Thanks Akis for the Meteora visit and the wonderful recipe for the lamb and orzo recipe. My dad was from Crete and he used to take my Mom & I to a restaurant on the West side of Manhattan called "The Pantheon." They served a very similar lamb recipe I remember when I was 12. I knew there was cinnamon in it! I could taste that spice even then. I will make it for friends and family, once this quarantine passes, fingers crossed. I will also try it with the orzo you offered, rather than a traditional pilaf. Ephateestoh parapolee!
I remember that restaurant and have eaten there a few times back in the day. Hadn't thought about it until I read your post.

@Nicolas Idé You might try the Minimalist Baker cooking blog. She has a lot of vegan recipes, including several different cheesecake recipes. I have tried a few and they are pretty good. A lot of them use raw cashews as well and others have other base ingredients. Give it a go! minimalistbaker.com

the rock climbing scene made me dizzy... I will try the banana wrap with Nutella chocolate sauce + peanut butter, possibly with apple instead of banana:) the cheese platter looks so yummy
btw, love the Columbia outfits Akis wear in all the episode, but I wouldn't go rock climbing with a cargo pants. Let's hope more Food Tour will be available after the pandemic.

I didn't watch the whole recipe , but I assume its sesame paste , it's often used in Mediterranean kitchen . Few drops olive oil and lemon juice over it, and it tastes delicious.
Tahini sauce?
Actually, since I make plastos for years, I assume it is not tahini. It is a layer of the paste we already used for the base, containing corn flour.
