- On the 20th anniversary of Lilo & Stitch, the directors of the film reminisce over the creation, development, production, and enduring legacy of the Disney classic.
Gosh, Lilo and Stitch is so unbelievably special to my heart, it inspired me so much and without it I wouldn't be pursuing animation at all, happy 20 years! (I'm not even 20, it came out a year before i was born haha) I am so unbelievably thankful
Lilo & Stitch is my favorite Disney cartoon. These guys are very talented, their "How to Train a Dragon" is beyond praise!
one of my favorite disney films, there are so many great things about it - the luscious watercolor backgrounds, the way the lazers fly and impact like blobs of slime, the character interactions, the authentic little-kid depiction of lilo (as opposed to a sanitized, aren't-they-the-cutest kids in many cartoons), the strong character designs, the narrative space that lets the characters develop... it's all so good.
One of the best Disney classics of all time in my opinion the only ones that come close to beating it is Atlantis the Lost Empire, the Iron Giant and Treasure Planet, those three movies cannot be touched e-ver

This is too great! This takes me back to when I was 8 years old, watching the behind-the-scenes portion on my “Lilo & Stitch” DVD. You can tell there’s a lot of love that went into the movie.

That was so cool! I enjoyed every minute of it as these memories are so precious and interesting! It’s funny because when watching the movie you can see that they must have had a great time! It’s also a great proof that it doesn’t always have the billion dollar budget to create something unique and great! Thank you all!

Terrific Interview I enjoyed this movie a ton but in ways I wasn’t expecting in I believe mid November of 2021 for some reason I decided to watch it properly for the first time as I was I believe 23 & the part I wasn’t expecting that I saw a ton of myself in LILO & Stitch just in very different ways as a creative myself. & had been an artist for as long as I could hold a pen. Not on the digital side though I may attempt to dabble in it sometime.

Would love to hear him and Charlie Adler in a voice off together 😊.
Honestly, taking Jumba's spaceship makes much more sense than hijacking a plane, on several levels.
Also, the Stitch TV series is the better sequel, 2nd movie has terrible writing moments, some truly horrible parts.
