My music teacher would turn off the lights and play ithotmk and tell this story and we would be in the position of Peer Gynt, running, falling etc... memories...
I remember in music class in elementary school we had to walk on our knees on the lower parts, then slowly get up into a hunch as the music progressed and then run as it sped up 😂
Super film ! Le passage où il se déplace comme un ver sur le rythme de la musique est magique ! Je comptais étudier ce morceau avec mes élèves prochainement, je me ferai une joie de leur montrer ton travail. Bravo !
As a swede. Scandinavian...If u like😮 beeing grown up with the music- and paintings from f.ex John Bauer... it was a part in EVERY kids life in school. Im just so sorry for all of u'll that didnt get to learn or got to listen to Grieg f.ex.. 😢😢
Good animation. Alpine symphony next please! Also I can tell I won't like Peer just because he looks evil, although less evil than the trolls, with his sharp-angled face. Fantastic
Ok. 0:25 actually reminds me of Oblivion. When the main character is following the emperor and he/she have to go through the goblins cave instead, and fight all these goblins (and get the goblin staff). I didn't last very long in that game, didn't know what I was doing or how to actually do it...
Listnening to this made me imagine running away from someone or something in a hall that's endless on a red carpet and pillars around like some medieval thing
@@cordroush8760 There are. This is just the instrumental version. In the actual Henrik Ibsen play the trolls all chant together and some of them have individual lines. You can find both the original and the translated lyrics on the Wikipedia page for the piece.
I am literally only here cause of trollhunters. All the content from that show just keeps recommending it to me. AND I WATCH IT EVERYTIME I SEE IT!!!!!! i miss it so much!!!
There once was a game with that backround music, it was like a pinpall game but with garden gnomes... If anybody knows what I am trying to describe please tell me it's name. I am looking for that pc game for over 10 years now...
Brilliant, fun and exciting. This is a superb tribute to Grieg's wonderful music. Haven't enjoyed any animation show for a long time now. (Certainly not all that shitty anime.) Didn't know trolls would turn to stone in sunlight, though. :)
I think it's a lot better if there's zoomed out/in when he's running from them, like either they're getting closer and the man run faster than them. You know? Idk, it feels a little incomplete. Maybe is just me 😅
As a Norwegian, I hate how the trolls and the Mountain King is animated since, thats not what trolls look like at all in our folktale, but the animation is still really cool.
I absolutely love how he quietly inchworms his way to freedom😂
Yeah😏😆😆
He has lot of patience... Confucious would be proud

«Dovregubbens hall» is the original Norwegian name of the song. When ever we Norwegian’s here it we instantly think of the fairytales we grew up with
It is originated from a fairytale
I think the main character is Askeladden, a Norwegian fairytale hero
It’s from Peer Gynt. A work by Henrik Ibsen. Not exactly a fairytale
@@ladythalia227 Specifically, it’s Ibsen’s satire about actual Peer Gynt folktales.
OMFG I SPENT 2 HOURS SEARCHING FOR THIS SONG, GOD HELP MY PAIN, I HATE THE INTERNET. TY.
In the hall of the mountain king is the name of the sing , bruh
Tu ignorancia amigo.
