He has very dark roots there…I cant imagine that every month or two he had all those highlights done in his hair..but whoever did it was very good bc he looks natural. The same with Bratt Pitt. Also not a natural blonde. You can see in a video someone made of him from birth to 81, that he had dark hair in college. Its amazing that I would have always thought he was a blonde. Just goes to show …. You can see where he started with highlights when starting in the business.’someone made the right call for him to dye his hair, which was unusual at the time.’They did it for women. But his blonde hair is part of what made him what he became. A real star. But for a man it must have been annoying to bleach it all the time. His part and roots became more disguised after with his more tousled haircut..but here, someone needed to touch up those dark roots! It may be a reason why his hairstyle changed later.

Maybe is the weakness of the character that you dont like, and the man becomes not attractive. I can understand, but weak or strong character, Mr Redford is a great actor. I love this movie soooooo much! Since I was in China 30 years ago, I watched it at 1st time. Now I live in the state, fortunately I found dvd that with special edition in it which I really enjoyed to see the behind scenes, especially Robert Redford & Barbara Streisand interview, and the chemistry between the two great actors! I lost count of how many times I have watched it! There's no CLASSIC movie like this anymore, which is sad though.

I think you would probably like the movie if you watched it in full. I think there probably is a message in it warning people not to choose their mates based on physical attraction alone.
And this movie is the exact opposite of 2 people who were attracted to each other only for their looks. The truth is they were attracted to each other from their soul but in the end it was their differences in their soul that made them incompatible.
She loved him too much and it was too difficult for him to love her. They weren't made for each other. So sad but very real sometimes love can't be enough.

I went to the cinema to see this film with my mam when it first came out.....sobfest we loved it. They are the Romeo and Juliet of the cinemagraphic times. Romantically referencing , obviously.
This is one of My Favorite Movies of All Times, Katie wanted to fit so desperately but be her own genuine self, And Hubble he was her Dream OFf The A list Crowd, it's so funny but this Movie was very real fir me, we All have felt as it we did not fit in the A crowd that's why Katie fought so hard for how she felt when she was Hubble to keep him and possibly be part of the A crowd.

She was so crazy about him, she couldn't keep her hands to herself... The bedroom scenes were a bit uneasy for Robert... He had to wear a sports cup, because she kept touching him!!!! When they were on Oprah several years ago, She was interviewing them and he said can I get a few words in, Barbara never shut up...😂😂😂❤❤❤.......
Hubble is honest, Katie not. He became interested in an insolent curly haired woman, from the moment she passed to the other side she began to change to become an ordinary woman. Still he went after her. Hubble often referred to this inconsistency of hers. Her neediness, that urge to please and care, smothered them both. Perhaps only the birth of a child to pacify and last this Love.
Hubble knew from the start what her politics were..he was shallow and she expected more of him,she put him on a pedestal and she came to realise he was not the man she thought he was or could be.
She asked him for a divorce because she had been informed on that meant he wouldnt be able to work being her husband.I found the deleted scene they should have left it in the movie.
