    Congrats 🎉 I like your style! Would have packed the same yet differently 😉…. I went to Lisbon then Porto last September and loved it ! After went to Spain-Seville than Barcelona. Was a fabulous experience!
    I took a bigger travel pack, had lots of extra space yet still could have packed less thou I didn’t take a ton still well I’m looking at smaller packs that are more comfortable now. Maybe like you just a personal allowance size. As less can be more lol. I’m going to Thailand so been looking at Osprey packs as the back vents seem awesome for its hot climate. Anyway thanks for sharing! Did you have fun at surf camp?
    I found the weather at the beginning, all thru holiday very warm/hot!
    I packed a thin windbreaker very small umbrella and thin merino sweater each came in handy however wow the rain poured thou was short downpour. So mostly just got to a cafe until it stopped. Never wore the other layers until I got to England which was glad had something warmer. Can be tricky to predict while keeping it lite eh. And if like me, I would rather shop for something new than something I already own.
    Have a few months to try packs with what will bring as like to get the new pack for years of traveling. Getting sober was the best gift because well it’s healthy which includes money now to spend instead on visiting places.
    Well I’m interested in if you’re doing more travel, surfing and how liked the pack?
    Lol novel comment 😆✌🏽🍀🌞

      Thank you! 🤩 Lisbon and Porto are wonderful cities! And Barcelona, too - I lived there for 5 months and loved it. When traveling light you realize how little stuff you actually need haha, you can almost always pack less, especially in warmer climates. I agree that less is more when packing, it makes it so much easier to carry everything and move around. Osprey packs are great! The surf camp was a lot of fun, I can highly recommend it if you're interested in surfing. 😁
      Congrats on your sober journey! Fantastic to hear that you're now able to save money to travel more! I'm currently traveling pretty much full-time since September last year & I'll do an updated packing video again in a few weeks. I use the pack in this video as my personal item but also have a 40 liter pack too (a backpack from Tortuga, I have a pretty new video about it on my channel). Enjoy your travels! ☺️

      @@tobyr8555 I haven't been yet, but if the S/M torso works for you, the back is flexible enough to bend a bit to fit. I'm usually prepared to pay carry on, if needed. I just don't like gate checking if overhead is full, and its my only stuff. Depends on the airline.

    Wow… impressive that Ryanair really let it pass? Would it pass in 2024 feb? You think?
    We are going to Mallorca for 1 week on Sunday. 2 adults. 4 kids. All just bringing a personal item bag. Bought bags on Amazon with the exact Ryanair dimensions. But our bags are a lot smaller than your 25 L Osprey bag.
    So you think it would pass today?

    • @MillaExplores
      @MillaExplores  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'd still try today, but often it depends on the airline staff member. I always try but I am prepared to pay if needed (which has only happened on very rare occasions). And some staff members don't care as much as others. But I've been able to even take my 40l Osprey backpack on a ryanair flight as a "personal item" haha 😄

    Great packing video! You fit a lot into that small bag. Did it fit easily under the seat?
    I’ve been looking for a smaller bag like this that has a hip belt, not many this size do. Did you find it comfortable to carry? Did the hip belt effectively transfer a lot of the weight from your shoulders to hips?

    • @MillaExplores
      @MillaExplores  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Amie! ☺️ Yes it fits surprisingly much haha. And yes, it did fit under the seat, definitely on the limit but I didn't have any issues! This Osprey Sportlite 25l is super comfortable to carry even when it's full like mine in this video so I would highly recommend it. I've been using this backpack for day hikes now as well and it's so comfortable. I love it. I think the hip belt works well. 😊

    • @dean6126
      @dean6126 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are smaller Sportlite models but the 15L and 20L versions only have a strap without cushioning. The thing with hip belts is that the pack has to have a certain height so the hip belt sits correctly. Smaller packs are also less tall and since the load is smaller (meaning lighter), transferring weight to hips gets less important…
      Check out bike models, especially from Deuter or Vaude, they often have hip belts.
      I don’t know how small you want it to be but maybe take a look at Deuter AC Lite 16 or 17 (different styles despite the similar volume), Deuter Compact EXP 14 (expandable to 19L) or Race X or Race X Air (different back panels).
      I don’t really know any small Vaude packs of the top of my head, but the Wizard is also available in smaller sizes, I think 24+4 and even 18+4? I do remember a ridiculous amount of their backpacks having hip belt though. I personally hate them on smaller packs haha
      Osprey has lots of different new packs, I guess also some smaller ones with hip belts as well, but I don’t know any of the top of my head.

    I ll be tking 30l as a carey on nd another 30l weightless daypack s prsonl item, it s not the cost I just never want my bag to be lost as last time, where I am it s too. The actuwl main bag weighs 0.5 l unfilled of course n a ditinctive postcard print so noone can mistake it! Am not sure how can weight bear as asthmatic ad need to pack a lot of meds and qarm things too ❤ I loathe the plugs from Uk they weigh so much 3 in and old fashioned. Also in search of tongs curler all in 1 travel size!

    • @MillaExplores
      @MillaExplores  ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds like a good plan! Meds and other necessities like that can be a hassle when traveling but there's no way around it unfortunately. For the plugs, I highly recommend getting a charger that can charge many devices at once. I have a Ugreen charger like this one: amzn.to/45jxy0R - it can charge my macbook, drone, phone and everything else, all at once. It's such a space saver! Then you just need one power adapter for abroad of course :)
