Funny how Sarika wants to convince everybody outside of China how clean everything is, meanwhile in China sales of instant noodles imploded after massive food safety problems where people found insects and rat heads in their noodles. Also the biggest brand used grains meant for pig food for the noodles because it was only a fraction of the price of human consumption grains. Actually the hygiene is a joke. Most meals in restaurants are prepackaged meals that they simply heat and serve. These are the dinners you find at a grocery store filled with preservatives. These canteens have mass production with no quality control. Only what you see looks clean, what you don't see isn't.

In India you can trust your baby milk. Chinese people ask their relatives in Europe and USA to send them baby milk because they don't trust Chinese products, and for good reason.
I think we in India have good standards in reputed places. I have never tried dirty hawker stalls as common sense tells me it is not for the faint hearted. See a lot of foreigners eating from these unhygienic stalls or for that matter staying in gross hostels or boarding places glamorised on the internet. One man's meat is another's poison _ cleanliness matters. Govt. needs to crack down on food handling and medical check up of food handlers
She is already back in India so she doesn't have to act anymore. China is no fun, if you are lucky to have internet access than it's okay for a while if you stay away form the bad food and drinks. Even Sarika would rather be back home.
