Thank you. I’m learning to do digital artwork on my own and I’ve been using raster layers simply because I didn’t know the difference. This explains it perfectly.
I was in a class today and after 1 hour, I simply could not grasp the concept...you explained this so damn simply, it makes me frustrated that the instructor had to go into details and explain it from a detailed perspective. They were talking about 0,0 origin points and cells etc etc...like dude...this is not that hard of a thing to grasp if everyone taught it like you just did.
So wait, if you create a vector logo, then drag it into a Photoshop session does it become pixealated? Or does it still remain vector in terms of being able to dramatically increase the size and still hold the same quality?
Thanks for the detailed explanation, I was confused about the concepts of image formats until you explained them in more detail. Is an image created in a non vector format (jpg or ping) technically “inferior” to a vector based image if not manipulated (stretched out)? And if not, I would assume that a png/jpg can be converted to vector format without loss of quality of the original file.
So if an image is natively jpg (for example) and then converted to vector, will any of the quality be compromised compared to the same image natively create in vector?
Plz tell me brother how can we set comparison between raster and vector what I mean how can I saw raster and vector comparison in one image plz tell me
Ive been learning this crap for 5 weeks now.......you've explained it better in 2 minutes....
same here..!!

I was so confused about this and you explained it perfectly in seconds. Thanks!!!
Thank you, Rob. I appreciate all the help I can get while doing my best for a family's loved one's funeral program.
Short and very concise in explaining between Vector and Raster Images. Thanks man!
Thank you I am an artist not a graphic designer. Trying to find my way through the digital world. Thank you for your simplistic explanation!
thanks, bro. I explained this about 2 hours for the class but you easily explain it well just in 2 minutes. Thanks bro
I'm going to pass a class because of you
Finally it helped me to understand about raster n vector images
clear, brief, simple and easy to understand with examples and how it is being used in the real world. Thanks!
you explained it very beautifully sir thank you so much.
Thank you!
Thanks Robert, very well explained. I have tried to understand this on a off for more than a year, now I understand.
Thanks man, very useful! Brief and clear!
i have watched so many videos on this and you described it perfectly in 1 minute!
tara eymundson thank you!
Thank you! This was extremely helpful.

Thanks This Really Helped Me For My Exams!
Hey man, awesome, fast video with great information. keep up the good work! :)
Good job. Tried clicking the video to watch the other video. It doesn't work. What is the name of that?
short and swt !!! thanks
Thank you for the explanation. I was having a brain lapse and couldn't remember which one is based on pixels.
Bro, thank you for the information!
Ca you make detailed videos on BITMAP( aka raster ) , like how is it structured, what is memory occupied , how are colors acocounted for etc.. ?
Thank you so much!! You explained this so well. Crystal clear
Pursonagem Cat thank you!
Short and excellent explanation... TKS..!!

Photoshop will ask you if you want to rasterize it when you drag it in. If you keep it as a "smart object", it will remain vector
this is the first time i've ever understood that to a T. for some reason ppl have to explain it to me over and over. haaa thanx a million
Black Goddess you’re welcome :)
Thank u for help. i pass school now. i will use you as a source. :D
thanks a lot
Thank you
Lovely explanation thanks
Hell yea man straight forward thank you!
Wow. You have helped me. Thank you
Thankfully Sen sei
Thanks man!
You have no idea how many times I felt like tearing my hair out when a customer sends over a raster when we ask for a vector.
This was helpful, thanks

Robert Baldwin thanks a million for your help! I can see clearly now 🌞
Did Great Thank you
when doing a detailed character animation in a vector based program that supports raster graphics, would vector be the way to go?
Is it ok to make logos in Indesign? I think this program is a vector program, correct?
When it comes to artwork and animation, raster is better for drawing and cleanup, while vector is better for inking and coloring.
Plz tell me brother how can we set comparison between raster and vector what I mean how can I saw raster and vector comparison in one image plz tell me
sh0rt and to the point, thank you.
thanks..!!
Awesome!
thanks
Nice video sir
good info
So theres a huge advantage to vector. Well what is the advantage to raster? Why would i use it for anything thats not photographies?
badhiya
I have a couple raster/vector questions can anyone help??
Perhaps
why would sombody use raster?
Handsome
You didn't explain vector well enough.
thanks
Thanks
