Great! Paice found himself a really good band to play with. Sometimes, when you close your eyes .... Really talented young musicians, the drummer can sure set the Paice and the keyboard player is following into Lord’s footsteps! I think this band is even better than today’s “Deep Purple”, or what remains of it!

In any order my favourite drummer's are, Billy Cobham n Ian Paice. Cobham once said the music follows "the beat from the snare" you play 2the beat, you dance 2the beat, you move 2the beat, that's how it rolls.

Yes, WOW!! Old 64yo fan here. My old band (70s thru the 80s) covered a lot of DP material, the classics by today's standards. Paice had major influence on my drumming development. Running Birds are awesome talent, and it's clear why Ian Paice carries the title "The Chief". My favorite rock drummer by far. Much respect to all !!!
