I agree with you on all of the what's up beauty palettes. My very first purchase from them was the dragon eye palette and I had to have the geodes and monsoon palette! I bought all 3 on my no buy! And I don't regret any of them! And I've already decided if they come out with another one this year I will buy it too! I'm in love with their formula!
So happy you are loving Ensley Reign, they are my favorite brand, & your #2 is my favorite one! I also agree with you on your other favorite Indy brands, you have great taste! 😉
When you said you forgot the Bella Beaute Bar palettes I clutched my pearls! 😂 How dare you!!! lol 😂 🤣😂 By the way, I’m so impressed with Angie’s Halloween palettes from last year. This release should have had way more hype! Bella Beaute Bar Basic Witch palette is my #1 palette in my collection. Thank you for sharing your Indie Collection with us.
Pamela, can I just say I am going to use the phrase "clutched my pearls" many times this week! HAHA! I am chuckling out loud I love that, and now I need an actual pearl necklace to clutch! I totally agree, the Halloween palette really surprised me, and even to this day I feel so creatively inspired by them! I hope you have a great day ❤
Blend Bunny is my favorite matte formula, Nomad Cosmetics I just love love love as a brand , color story, formila... Bellabeautebar, Adept, and Ensley Reign have my heart for special shades and theming/color stories. I buy everything from Unearthly, Simply Posh, Cosmetics Brushes, and Odens Eye.. but I don't think I could pick just one favorite Oh anf can't forget FantasyCosmetica, i buy all their palettes too. I would drive myself insane trying to rank my indie palettes. You did a great job!
So many good brands mentioned. I am really looking forward to the new Cosmic Brushes palettes and I just ore ordered my first simply posh palette! I am excited to try the brand! ❤️❤️
I cannot imagine how long this took you what a gift of a video thank you for your hard work! Unearthly is one of my new favourite brands for indie - discovered them this year and seriously hooked now. I have the two you ranked plus dreamer and fall magic and love them all. Favourite for a brand that doesn't let me down - Sydney grace if you like the colour story the quality speaks for itself with those ones. Favourite newest to my stash is the BBB basic witch and favourite indie collab - oden's eye and Angie - I own all 3 and honestly they are flawless. I also have lethal and avatar collab coming and so excited to get those too!
Hi! Can you explain how to use eyeshadow as nail polish? I’d like to try this myself. Also, I love your channel and it’s nice to see someone still using “older” and newer palettes. I appreciate that very much.
Thank you so much! I need to film a short on this, but I start with a base polish and then I use a sponge tip applicator and the eyeshadow of my choice, and then go over top with a top coat ❤️❤️
I keep my sleeves for Lethal Cosmetics, the names are on the sleeves. Kind of a pain, but they also sell a ton of singles with any palette so they only label the covers. Which makes sense. As a hoarder of singles, I like it. 😂
Interesting ranking-I’m surprised you don’t love the Nomad quality-It’s one of my favorite formulas. I do agree that all the OE palettes don’t have the same quality level. Not Normal is one of my favorite Unearthly palettes-you should definitely give it another shot.
I didn't used to, but feel like their releases in the last year I have really struggled with which makes me so sad, because I do really love the brand! ❤
Hi Steph I’m someone who hasn’t really dabbled with indie brands yet, but I do have the cool toned cosmic brushes palette on my wishlist 😂. If you think your thirty year plus eyes are difficult then wait till you’re dealing with fifty year plus eyes 😂. I have a lot of texture on the lids due to loose skin and this can make sparkly shades very difficult to wear (they fall down the face despite glitter glue due to just eye movement). They also emphasise texture quite a bit and have to be used carefully/strategically to look pretty. I think Viseart is still an independent brand (not owned by a conglomerate like L’Oreal etc which is the traditional standard of being an “indie” brand) and they have a beautiful formula for mattes and shimmers/metallics/duochromes. You won’t get multichromes or holographic shades but you will get wearable eyeshadows no matter your age. I do like the look of some of the Ensley Rain palettes and think the price is more justifiable than Pat McGrath for instance, but it’s still an ouch price point for most people. I am not someone who will buy or want a massive palette collection as I want to have a manageable amount and palettes that I know I will use regularly. The reason the cosmic brushes palette is on my wishlist is that it has the colours I will wear when I want to use colour, plus some different textures of eyeshadow to play with yet without spending an absolute fortune- I know I wear soft shades and cool neutrals most of the time in my lifestyle. I am a jeans girl and a perhaps aging 😂rock chick/biker, so I’m past a full glam look everyday (I wore a smoky eye look most of the time in my teens and twenties 😂). My skin looks better at this age with lighter makeup and my eyes do too, so I rarely wear a full face anymore (parties and events only). I think it’s dependent on the makeup style we wear IRL as to our palette preferences but it’s still really interesting to see what other people love x

Can we get a short or something on how to make eyeshadow a nail polish!!?🤯😂
Ooooh yes! I’d love to know too. 😊
Yes! I will film one this weekend when I do it ❤️❤️
@@itsjustStephslife Subbed and can't wait!
I came to ask the same thing!! How does an eyeshadow work as a nailpolish!??
So happy you are loving Ensley Reign, they are my favorite brand, & your #2 is my favorite one! I also agree with you on your other favorite Indy brands, you have great taste! 😉
I needed this video so badly cause I've been looking for some indy eyeshadow palettes and I don't even know where to start lol
❤️❤️ yay! I hope this helps! I am super excited for the teasers of the new Cosmic Brushes palettes!

I do it but I have trouble with it lasting
Thank you so much! I need to film a short on this, but I start with a base polish and then I use a sponge tip applicator and the eyeshadow of my choice, and then go over top with a top coat ❤️❤️
I will agree I do feel it doesn’t last as long as a normal polish
Thank you for an interesting and useful video 😊😊😊
❤️❤️❤️
Loved this video so much!! Love that you do eyeshadow palette content even though eyeshadow isn’t super popular right now! Thanks Steph!!💖💕🫶

Oh I never thought of that with their palettes, but that is such a good point about them having a bunch of singles ❤️

I wish OE would re-release their alva! I miss having that 1!
I wish they would re release solmane 1 haha 😂 ❤️
Every time I see that not normal palette I think tiny marvels. Love the ranking.
I'm so surprised that you have trouble with the Oden's Eye mattes. I've never had any issues with them!

I love your eyeshadow. Çan you tell us what it is
Are you thinking of doing a declutter/destash? Because if you get rid of the Futurism Pink, I know I would be interested!
Love the video
Great video! If you're really feeling brave add up the retail value of all of these 😅😅😂
Oh goodness 😂 idk if I’m feeling brave! Do I want to know? Haha
I tried oden’s eye pallets, not worth the hype 😢
Blooper alert! Glaminatrix, Nocturnal not Glamlite!
