I had some trouble with the gummi fledge with properly lubricating downward facing seals. Trying to get enough lubricant on them with the bottle facing up was difficult. I found someone recommended Krytox GPL-205 so I'm going to try that today. They also recommended Miguiars Ultimate Interior Detailer for cleaning the seals first. I need to get a good spray silicon for the hinges. Your video was very detailed about hitting all the right spots. Thanks 🙂
I've got a leak from both corners of my windscreen (the rubber bits) .. is there a drainage point there that could be blocked? Just ordered Gummi and silcone oil to do the roof maintenance. Hopefully that'll sort the leaky bits. 😄
Yea there is a drainage port along the A pillars outside. Also the conical pin washers up front might need to be adjusted for a tighter fit of roof and rubber seals. Good luck 👍
@@Sals_Garage I agree. But what I meant was that I have no leaks inside with the windows up. but if it's raining and I crack my window down, I get water running in through the window. From the top front of the window (a pillar area). My E46 M3 convertible was the same way. Do I just have to live with this with a convertible? Or is there something I can do to stop the water from coming in when I have the window cracked open? Thanks brother.
@@corbettdennis6246 I was having the same issue - there's a drainage hole/tube that runs down inside the length of the seal between the front window and the windscreen, which had gotten clogged with dirt and wasn't allowing water to drain. I carefully cleaned it out with a toothpick, problem solved. Try and pull the stuff out of the hole, rather than pushing it in.

From the future, what mags are those brother ?
@@cutmedia7014 mags?
Can the car be turned off with the hardtop in various positions of open?
Yes 👍
Can i use wd-40 for lubricanting hinges?
You can, but it won’t last as long as silicone lubricant or grease, wd40 tends to dry out quicker.
where can I get that rear wing? I want to get one for my E93, something different like that
Sure thing: amzn.to/40rlhXg

Hi guys which is the best exhaust setup for the bmw e92 m3 ac schnitzer exhaust or akrapovic exhaust ?
Hard to say, haven’t heard them in person. I still recommend my current exhaust setup
Hmm...is this why i get drips from the top of the a pillar when it rains?
Possibly. You should still do this to keep your top running smoothly.

Possible block in the drainage in A pillar. Good luck 👍
