Ernest Langdon, the one man war to save DA/SA from the horrors of a striker fired world.
😆
HE's definitely trying!
Yes, and we appreciate it
I was a glock fanboy until i started watching police shooting video. Glock requires 100% proper handgrip for 100% reliability.
@@HueHmongous123 no handgun likes to be limp wristed. It almost always induces a short stroke. This is not a Glock specific problem. Get out and shoot your shit
I am so excited.
John was the first person to get me interested in the P30, and with LTT working their "space magic" on the trigger, I can't wait to pick one up :) Thank you for all you do! The recommendations, insight, and education from your videos have been tremendously helpful and very much appreciated!
NOTE: I may need to pick up the P30L because I don't need/want anything tempting me away from my PX4 Compact for carry ;) LOVE the Range Monkey vids as well :)
I figured you would be first on the list!!! When’s the review drop?
@@joeb2526 I'm headed to pick mine up today.
@@ASPextra I’m not surprised at all! One of the first guns to be truly lefty friendly! I may have to get one of these.
So many thoughts have flooded my mind when I saw this. And the first was anticipating John’s reaction (ASP), though he already has a trigger job on his if I remember correctly. Can’t wait to see the reviews.
LOVE THIS!!!! The P30L is on my "Must Have" list... and with LTT working their "space magic" on them, it's just moved higher up on that list :) LTT is THE BEST!!! Excited for this one, guys! :)
Really? You're that excited about something that has been available for years from the company that designed the parts that Langdon is using to assemble a p30.
Having a different system in the line up like the LEM trigger options with superb optimization to one's needs is a great addition.
Got mine ordered 30 min ago, me and my best buddy buy everything y’all put out but this one is truly something special. This is gonna be a long 4-6 weeks to wait 😍😍
How cute ☺️
I love cuddling my bros 😊
Ordered a P30L today. I have stock a P30 and P30L DA/SA pistols looking forward getting the LTT version.
Mr. LANGDON is a true gentleman!
My first pistol was a HK P30L, and I still love the pistols above all of my other handguns. The other makes are good, but I REALLY love my HK P30L
The LTT P30 LEM. The gun you never knew you'd fall in love with.
Never been into HK, but glad to see LTT offer different options and leading the way in DA/SA innovation. That trigger shoe on those looks very interesting.
How are they leading the way. Hk is the one who offers all of this already
Wish you had offered these options on the USPc. I have been unsuccessfully trying for a year to obtain a Universal LEM Kit for lt. I shipped this pistol to Gray Guns yesterday for the reduced reset and heavy use refurbish work. I am expecting a significant improvement in the gun's performance.
Quite possibly my next carry gun. This is an excellent addition to the LTT lineup!
I’ve been blown away by my LTT 92 so I couldn’t resist picking up a optic cut LEM p30. Can’t wait to shoot this thing! Y’all are killing it!
Ooh baby. Hopefully this means USP and VP9 are coming up
Still waiting for them to trick out a Mk23
Getting my P30sk next week and will be sending it in for trigger / action work and milling
What’d you think after you got it back?
I owned a P30LEM and sold it because, LTT basically has addressed every issue I had with the fire arm. I am excited to try and get my hands on one of these.
Love it!!
This is awesome news. I currently have a p30l with a gray guns upgrades and lem trigger with an optic mounted by Wright Armory and love the pistol. In my opinion is one of the best and most underrated and unknown pistols available today
Any plans for other HK models? I have a P2000 that I'd love to add a little LTT spice to
They do P2k trigger work but no RDO
I have a VP9SK (unmodified) that I really like but I'm really digging these hammer fired LT upgraded HK pistols.
Love GreyGuns trigger! Didn’t know I needed one of these…..until today!
i love my p30 lem. i may need to get a p30L lem.
This is great news! I love the P30 series.
Don’t need this, but stoked nonetheless. I’m getting a Ltt92 next, the px4 carry models really sold me on the LTT work level, that reset is pure gold.
Very excited for this.
I wish the sk had an optic ready option
This is awesome! I just bought my P30L and was already looking for red dot milling. Couldn’t have come at a better time
FINALLY SOME P30 LOVE!
Dope, p30l LEM is my favorite carry
That HK LEM is amazing, making it better sounds lit
if/when you decide to work on P30SK w/ manual safety, I'm sold.
I love my p30sk to me its a near perfect ccw I even use the larger 13 round magazines with mine. I could definitely see pairing that up with a P30L with an optic cut. The LEM is amazing.
Ditto, ditto, and DITTO! Love my P30SK LEM w/trigicon. 10, 13 and 15 rd mags. Contemplating the LTT P30L LEM with Optic cut.
I’d very interested in the LEM version…with the LTT/Grayguns mods, I’m sure it’ll be very nice indeed!
LTT P30SK with LEM is amazing. Best conceal carry pistol ever made.
HK P2000 LEM too please!
I would love seeing Ernest doing some drill videos with his HK LEM
@langdonTactical. Couldn't find the answer to this in the FAQ section. The HK P30 options page says the SK version ships with (2) 10 round and (1) 13 round mag. I believe these guns now come with 15 rounds mags. Are those available as well?
I just got mine today, took 10 weeks, but I ordered over the holidays and there was an additional wait for the flat trigger. I got one 12 round mag with the pinky extension and two 15 rounders.
Will you modify existing P30s, or do you only offer new P30s?
custom work available on the website
Carrying P30L on duty carry right now (R3D night sights) & have vid why I pick it. Also have a Fight Like John Wick vid that is very popular. Used the L and 2 micros in my Realistic Dicken Drill video.
HEH11 Smart!! Taking the most sought after firearms and moddding them to LTT spec :) e.g. Beretta 92's, Beretta's 1301--arguably "the best tactical shotgun" on the market.....heh...
Will you be m modding the H"K USP Expert as well? Offering an optics mount? :) Or the same adsded features as on the P30? :) There is a huge "Expert" following....as you probably already know...
The Experts have their challenges because most of them have huge adjustable rear sights along with the associated dovetail cut in the slide.
Im curious when he's going to start working on sig's 226
Fantastic!
I was looking at the SK spring options. I can only get a 12 or 10 pound hammer spring.
For carry, is the 10 or 12 pound recommended?
Is there any issues with light strikes for the 10 pound spring?
We have not had any issues with light strikes with the 10 lb hammer spring.
Got mine two days ago! Great pistol!
Thank you!
Hi @Kenneth what options did you pick ie trigger type and weight etc? And what has your experience been so far?
@@seandurns110 I bought both the P30 and the P30SK. I picked the LEM versions, the Light trigger option, and the flat trigger. Shoots like a dream. Love the 90-degree break.
May you can offer NP3 coating as well in these new P30 configurations.
Not at this time!
I’d be interested to know which gun is LT using as his edc. I’m sure his edc rotation is pretty long by now… Great to see him taking care of the da/sa world.
Mr Langdon's current EDC is a PX4 Compact Carry with Holosun EPS. But yes, he has carried a bunch of stuff for EDC as part of the testing process.
how do I get this installed? You do it? or can you send the parts to a gunsmith here in Las Vegas?
Big CONGRATS 🎊🍾🎈 to H&K coming on board 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Tried a plastic fantastic striker and went back to Beretta 92 with Langdon parts. Maybe try a HK someday.
Finally some love for the over-engineered HK wonderguns.
Noob here. Will the decocking lever fire a round in the chamber?
No, it will not fire the round in the chamber.
As soon as the p30L is available in LEM, I’ll be purchasing one…I am hating the waiting.
Love the Beretta LTT trigger kit. Will Langdon Tactical have a HK45 trigger kit available in the future?
This is incredible. Out of curiosity, why is the RDO Cut not available for the SK? Are there certain internal issues that make it inoperable with an optic cut? A P30SK with the Langdon RDO Cut would be the absolute perfect CCW
The SK has a secondary firing pin block in the slide that has to be worked around. Not saying that we will not do it, but we have to work around that particular issue.
By the way, we now have the cut available for the SK. Just launched that about two weeks ago.
@@LangdonTactical can you expound on the secondary firing pin block? I had no idea the internals differed to that extent.
Also, how were you able to work around that physical difference? Very close to ordering one and I love to know the ins and outs of how things are accomplished. Thank you
@@temujen We get around the secondary firing pin block two ways. One we trim the block leg just a little. two, we have a relief area in the bottom of the plate that lines up with that block.
Wishlist check! Will have one this year.
A huge congrats to you Ernest and your great team. Damn well done Sir!!!
Congrats on assembling a pistol with parts from another custom shop?
@@2A_lifestyle You for some odd reason are missing the point.
Other than that! I don't know, what to tell you.
Perhaps stay away from the keyboard, and buy one of Langdons guns, that he is offering, and go the the range.
Have fun

I have an hk p30 and an hk p30l. The greyguns parts definitely take an already excellent firearm and take it to another level. What Langdon is offering is the same work (done with greyguns parts).
I'm sure it's excellent. I just find your ass kissery annoying. As if Langdon is doing something new and groundbreaking. When they're just offering something that's been available for quite some time from greyguns "and literally using greyguns parts to do it"
Nathan, you are misinformed, but that's ok! If you have what works for you, you do you!
@@LangdonTactical
I very well may be. I'm very opinionated and sometimes need to be set straight. So what exactly are you offering that is different or better than greyguns?
Sweet baby Jesus?! Who put their chocolate in my peanut butter?! I'm DEFINITELY grabbing at least one of these models. Thank you LTT!
Very interested! Can you do the same P30 modifications with the HK45?
I'm happy with my 92x, but it's cool to see the continued innovation
I knew it was a matter of time!
Since hk changed the came out 17 rounders a couple of years ago ..I love for a vp9 and p30 in a glock 19 size 15 plus 1
Do you work on the P2000 LEM? It is not listed under the LEM section of custom work.
How about more of a close-up and detailed video on the improved trigger reset? Even if you reduced the reset by 50% it would still be too long considering you pretty much have to let the trigger go back all the way forward on a standard DA/SA P30.
We will have to look into posting another video if this does not explain it well. The reset is better than most normal DA/SA guns after the trigger work we are doing. Even the LEM guns have a much shorter reset. You do not have to go all the way back forward to reset the trigger, maybe a quarter of an inch, but that is all.
@@LangdonTactical To reset the trigger on the P30L v3 I used to have you had to walk the trigger back almost all the way back. Easily 90%.
Here is a great video that covers LEM in great detail.
m.th-cam.com/video/Op4y3HrtJa0/w-d-xo.html
I purchased the Gray Guns trigger kit directly from Gray Guns and had my local gunsmith install on my P30L and SK. The difference is real and meaningful.
Great news. Keep up the great work. Now if you could do something with the Beretta CX4. 😄
Hopefully this is a sign for USP trigger work from Langdon
What is the weight of the DA pull after your trigger job. In the DA:SA
Send the p30 over to Honest Outlaw for review, thanks.
Deal!
I have an LTT P30L and it’s great. I also have several P30’s in various configurations. I was wondering if LTT recommends their LTT P30 for carry/duty use? There has been some discussion that many lawyers recommend that a carry gun be completely stock, or have as little aftermarket parts as possible, especially pertaining to the trigger. Because LTT offers a complete gun rather than just a drop in or custom work that the end user has to send their own gun in for, I wonder if a prosecutor would still try and attack it if it were ever used in a self defense scenario.
You are going to get attacked no matter what. If it is justified, it is justified. Self-defense is based on necessity of saving life, not the tool.
Best news of 2022!! Can you mill an existing P30 slide?
We can!
@langdon tactical are you guys offering just completed pistols, or are you selling slides on their own? I’d love to pick up a P30SK slide that’s optics ready for my regular P30SK, but have the option to carry with irons too if I’d like.
We cannot get any extra slides from HK. If we could we would do that for sure.
@@LangdonTactical understood, and thanks!
I wish you guys would come out with an acro plate for it. I don’t really care too much for the plates you currently offer I’d love to run a p30 with a Steiner Mps.
Do you also do the slide cut for optic on P30? if yes, how can I get my gun to you to do that?
check out our custom page on our website!
Hey guys, are these available to buy/own in California?
I don't think the P30 is on the California roster. You would have to check.
I know the USPs had some kind of harsh environment coating on the slide, barrel and internals for corrosion resistance. I heard this coating seeped into the metal parts and even when there was like holster wear, the metal was still protected. Do you know if the P30s have this same type of coating or no? Been curious if the HK45, P2000s and P30s have this or only the USPs. Struggling to find the answers. I don't think the VP9s have it so just curious.
The coating is Black Nitride, and HK uses it on almost everything. If is an excellent surface finish.
Are we able to send our P30s into Langdon to have the work done?
I would be happy with just the short reset. I like my LEM trigger, but the reset is too long.
Oh hell yes. Outstanding! / now how about some SCD's for Gen 4 Glocks?
Would be great if LTT did the HK 45 USP.
If the Grey Guns flat trigger and spring swap upgrade options are selected, are the OEM springs and polymer trigger bow included for the user to optionally reinstall and experiment with? Is it easy to change springs to try the various weight options? Without experience on the LEM trigger, it's hard for me to predict my ideal trigger pull weight.
Yes, we put all the stock parts back in the box with the gun.
IMO you should have talked more about the red dot/milling of the slides. That service is fairly new for this gun, industry-wide and deserved more than 20 seconds at the end of the video.
Thank you for the suggestion.
So red dot on the SK?
Best way to classify the LEM system is it is self decocking. When you release the trigger it lowers the hammer. It is designed to ride the reset. People that typically dont like it are people that let the trigger all the way out with every shot.
Interesting way to look at the LEM.
Is there any custom LTT parts or is it just the installation of gray gun parts?
our custom trigger work paired with other great partner's parts for improvement.
If I still bought plastic pistols I would be all about this.
Bam 💥
Will you be selling the trigger job separately? I'm not seeing it on your site
eventually, we hope to!
Sk lem is this available and what site is being used on this firearm . Purchase separate. Thanks this is the one I want to order
Do these trigger jobs work on the .40 S&W caliber P30's as well?
What kind of grip tape is being used on the frame? I like the specs of color throughout and was wondering if I can purchase anywhere.
Talon Grips, you can buy them from them. I think we have them in stock as well.
You the man!
Definitely getting one
Lol, ***a Sub-Compact known as the SK, a standard / compact called the P30 and the Long Slide version called the P30L.
Beginning of this video made me giggle like a little kid!!!! IDK why, but I never seen my gun with a Red Dot and it looks so sexy!
Will you be doing the same conversions on the H&K 45 ?
We already do that via custom gun work.
How well does a straight trigger work on the DA pull?
Do you prefer the straight or curved trigger for DA/SA?
I feel like straight triggers just let your finger slide around.
It really is a personal taste kind of thing. Ernest is running straight triggers on almost everything right now.
Are those talon grips or something else? I’ve never seen the Talons with those red specs in them.
Yes, they are! The evolution style from Talon!
can you guys please bring a good aftermarket trigger to the usp line up. i would buy that flat face trigger for my usp if you had that
I just got an LTT Elite. Now this!?! I’ll go broke.
We're here for you! ;)
Maybe I missed it, but will you be selling optics ready slides for the p30 like you do for the 92, or is it just a milling/cut service?
Not at this time. There are no extra slides available from HK.
P30 LTT or a PX4 LTT. The debate goes on.
I would love to see a serious review on this eventually. I had a P30SK and it was a very good handgun, but not great, and not great because the trigger was absolute garbage, a mile long and the reset wasn’t good. Naturally sold it out for a XDE but sort of wish I saw one of these in the wild first to give the trigger a spin.
Still, nothings as good as my LTT berettas lol
Cheers
Basically Jack Bauer reached out to Langdon Tac and asked how much savage can you add? Ernest said YES.
How much to do all that to my stock P30?
So does the LEM still have the rear decocker? I’m really excited about this gun
No, that's not how the gun works. It's literally a SA with the beginning action of a DA if that makes any sense. Once the gun is loaded it's ready to go.
@@Whileweweresinners okay thanks for the info, definitely makes me rethink possibly aiwb carry for the LEM but then again I carry a 365XL not manual safety so pretty much same carry conditions but feel like I can trust HK more for their pedigree
