You could also just use an assignment element on the $Record variable and its values as the before-save record-triggered flow updates the $Record variable at the end anyways. Using an update element updates the variable twice (which is not really noticeable in this instance, but in more complicated flows).

Love this info - was this a recent update or always the case?

Love this! Your explanation during formula creation is very helpful. I always get stuck on formulas.

WAFFLE ❤ Don’t worry about the “waffling”, I love when you give us a little more context and background to some of these topics. It’s why I love your channel! Also, drop the timer. It’s distracting and we already have a video timer. Keep up the great video!!!

Good stuff Adam. Most of my clients do not use standard naming convention for Opportunities, but I like this more automated naming approach. As you say, presents a usability nit that what they type in the Name is list. Can I assume the (lengthy) Formula can be defined as a separate resource up front, then referenced when you set the Oppty Name correct ? Look forward to seeing additional logic added to this...

Hi there Greg. Why not try getting in touch with Evan Ponter who cam up with this original idea? He might have new enhancements to it? Likely best place to get him is Twitter: twitter.com/realevanponter
