- This is a quick "Walk Around" of the John Deere 316 tractor that I converted to electric motor. Visit my web page for much more information on this and a couple other electric tractor conversions I've completed.
absolutely beautiful. good job!
Can you do a video on the hydraulic sleeve hitch?
Nice build
A coal-powered tractor, VERY cool. One thing... That's not a dead man's switch, that's just a switch.
Like I told my grandkids....You touch it....You're a dead man!!!
Did you have to sacrifice the use of a mower deck?
Way cool!
love the PC fan but idk if that fan will actually be able to deal with cooling
Never been needed so far. Motor barely get warm. I thought it would get quite hot, but so far, a couple years of use, and no issues with heat.
hey Roy, how many amps does the motor consume on idle, running that hydraulic pump? and on what voltage? and how much amps when driving around?
About 35A at 36V when idling.....Up to 60A when running full speed......And nearly 100A when really working hard....But only for a short duration.
before i even watch this, i clicked on this because i'm curious about cost and how strong it ends up being.
Ain't cheap....But Man! does it deliver power!
