    Great fun show!! My standard go to recipe. Fruit, steel cut oats powder, vanilla, plant milk. Yummy!! We use the machine twice a day. Probably one of the best inventions of the 21st century:))
    PS: The plant based ice cream being devoid of added fats, in case the ice cream becomes a little runny after the re spinning, mix ins etc. sticking it in the freezer for a few minutes before scooping seems to be working for me. Enjoy!!

    Cathy, I am so happy that I found you as I was looking for recipes for my very brand new ninja creamy deluxe! I am trying to switch to a more plant-based diet! I am very excited to explore all things that you offer so I can cook better for my family and my very allergic son!

    When making frozen treats, I add 1 Tablespoon of Vegetable Glycerin in my mixtures. It keeps it from seizing up and keeps it scoop-able. The Crystals in it are also smaller too.

      @@NutmegNotebook I just ate my chocolate nice cream. It was delicious. I made it with bananas, cocoa, a bit of vanilla extract and a bit of oat milk. I used a cookie scoop to serve it. It will be interesting to re-do the lite ice cream setting on the remaining material to eat again. I used my Breville sous chef peel and dice to make nice cream previously and put it in containers in the freezer. When I took it out to eat a serving, I always microwaved it a few seconds to soften it. It will be interesting to see the difference in technique.

    What if we just want the recipe book? Can we just buy the ebook by itself for cheaper? $47 doesn’t feel cheap or reasonable to me.

      I don’t think people understand how labor intensive it is to create recipes, videos and eBooks.
      Kathy spent hours and hours testing recipes, tweaking them and trying them again, plus all the cost of the ingredients, plus all the time to buy ingredients.
      Then she spent hours taking beautiful photos of all the recipes. More time spent to type up all the recipes, hints and tips.
      More hours putting it all together in a soft ware program to make an eBook format.
      She created all the videos to show us how to use the CREAMi, answer all the questions we might have and show us how to make many of the recipes. Plus there are two bonus sessions with her! I can’t believe she’s only charging $47.

    Thank you for your demo. I'm going to a try canned fruit pie filling in the creami. Of course I will freeze first in the pint container. Do you have any thoughts if it will turn out or not?

    Thank you Tami for hosting Kathy Hester. I purchased the course but will be away during the "live" session. Will it be taped for people who purchase the course? Also, can I use cashew powder when the recipie calls for cashew butter?

    • @NutmegNotebook
      @NutmegNotebook  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those are two really good questions that I can't answer! Please leave Kathy your questions on the course and I am sure she will get back to you.

    I wish she was using natural fresh and not store bought and processed foods. I actually bought this machne when it was first introduced. I use all natural, and even vegetables in my ice cream.

      Her recipes include many different options and some are using fresh fruit.

    This is the second time viewing one of her demos and it wasn't until she explained it to Tom that I learned that you cannot use frozen fruit in it. So frozen fruit must be pureed first then frozen?

    To get rid of your skunks just put some remote speakers out near them and play heavy metal rock all night and they will leave.
