Dear Shajan This 2 part interview definitely rates as one of your Top 5 of all times. It was witty, insightful and most of all you made Nandu open up with ease. About Nandu, I always saw him as one of those “Chethu Chettans”. If I remember correctly, he had a Yamaha RX 100 or similar and he used to hang out with his friends near “Sweet Home” bakery. I was at Model School back then. As kids, we used make fun of him as the “Micro” star since he was always appearing in one or two scenes in each movie. Looking back, I realize that he has more talent amd personality in his pinky finger than 99% of the rest of us have as a whole! His references to Thycaud, DPI and Mar Ivanious bus etc. brought back a flood of memories. His interactions with Adoor Gopalakrishnan Sir was brilliantly narrated. One last thing about this interview that left me speechless is that he is not the only one who wishes to go back to Pre-Cell phone era when life was actually peaceful as compared to now and people actually cared to slow down and smell the roses now and then! You did a brilliant job in getting Nandu to open up. Keep up the good work
