Why I loved this anime: the good guys got their asses kicked for almost the ENTIRE show. They spent so much time trying to understand why they couldn't win. The reason was simple: they all misread the prophecy. It was not "The guardians will awaken to their true powers so that the princess awakens." It was "The guardians will awaken to their true powers WHEN the princess awakens." Slight difference.
Actually in season one she read a book or sth and it said they will awaken their powers when she does it, so she felt guilty about not being able to do so. They knew that but she just couldn’t awaken before

If you’ve already seen Akatsuki no Yona then you likely won’t enjoy it unless you have a fondness off reverse harems. I enjoyed it because I saw it before watching Yona. Yona sets the reverse harem standards quite high.
Yeah i am too watching this after yona and inuyasha and kamisama and stuff( i dono if those are reverse harem, am still new to all this) but i can tell that this one is kinda a little wasted potential...it is not awful or something...but it seems raw and not like they gave their all to do this like you can tell with those series mentioned above..
To be honest, i liked the voice actors in the english synchro and the idea but most of the time i was cooled off by the awkward pauses in dialogues and the weitd movement of the animations and stuff...also it was all so weird how no one told anyone anything but expected everything and bruh...i am just watching it for seeing her true power and how they solce the stuff because the story behind it is interesting but how they brought it to life is awkward. The characters look great the actors are great but somehow the director failed to really use the potential right in my eyes. In human conversations you do not wait more then 1 seconds to react to something no matter if with verbal or physical means...

Top 5 favorite anime. I'm so glad I pushed through the 1st season as it dragged on. 2nd season is soooo good.
