Radiation being achievable on weapons without combining elemental mods is nuts.
The circuit is exactly why I don't build my guns around stuff like shards. I like flexibility. Any gun on any frame. Also enemy health often isn't that big, so if you full strip them you can usually get away with big damage to clean it up.
The circuit is why I Cry myself to Sleep at night. 😭
One word: Loadout slots.
But those are two words
@@disbelief3911load out slots don't work in the circuit my guy lol
The circuit is easy mode tho. Get a half decent gun and pretty much any frame and you can go for hours.
I'd much rather base my build around the other 99% of content
I really like what DE has been doing with elements for a while, giving them more power and usabillity. They are so versitile and are so much more fun to build around than crit.
Yes, I do enjoy the red crits all over my screen with a Khora+Ceramic dagger build, but feeling like an alchemist merging all the buffs and elements together makes this game so enjoyable.
Flat damages enjoyer xd.
Hold on, Ceramic Dagger? That weapon that used to be gotten from alerts got a glow up at some point?
@@goldskarr it got incarnon form.
@@goldskarr Ceramic Dagger got an Incarnon transformation that made it a very strong unique melee weapon (it throws projectile with heavy attacks) AND 1 of the best stat sticks in the game, because it can give +30% base critical chance or status chance to pseudo exalted melee that lack these stats (think Atlas' Landslide as an example as that one normally can't crit at all, but now Blood Rush gives you yellow/orange crits with ease).
Have you played lavos ? or gauss
This set up will absolutely be effective in the circuit because of decrees. You can easily get viral, cold and toxic from them as well. + The status spread, + damage against status, and double status damage decrees will make this set up an absolutely monster.
Exactly! You can also get extra corrosive shots, extra heat procs to nearby enemies… there are just so many damage options that i can go in with a default build and still last for 8 rounds.
The only problem with this Idea is that The Circuit Sucks. 👀
@@lookalike4805 I disagree with you
@@marquisepixley684 nah it actually the fact that its randomized makes doing public parties so toxic I hate farming circuit without premade.
I did some calculations and before lvl 4500 (110,000 ferrite armor) you are doing more damage because of the bonus damage against armored enemies with heat (50%), corrosive (98% with 13 stacks and Corrosive projection (18%), these combined give you 99.18% armor reduction, after lvl ~4500 you begin to lose damage against a full armor strip, And this calculations were made against corrupted heavy gunners. If you count the bypass of 75% armor, the enemies with ferrite armor are left with 0.205% of their armor.
Feels like you just copy-pasted this comment from elsewhere. I know I've seen it recently.
They have I’ve seen it too
@@celestialkitsune Yep, I put a similar one in 2 channels that explained the emerald archon shard to armor strip and how to achieve the max damage output with corrosive, but I added the part of how much armor the enemy has left.
just remove status from bonus dmg since dmg and status are diffrent things
@@VictorEMejiaI thought I saw you in Nash Prime’s comments…
I had already been (for a year or two now) running 90% of my Secondary weapons as Coro+(Rad or Heat or Both), along with most Primaries Viral (sometimes + elec) and all melees flat Toxic only. This felt like a fun and thematic trio that enabled all of my loadouts to have their own feel based on the specific weapons and Frames while still having a reliable set of tools: Secondaries to strip and disable, Primaries to blow down large targets, Melee for crowds and other niche situations.
Pretty cool video!
I too am loving to use the amprex for the new update. It's just so magical. I like using it with Wisp (either with roar or nourish, tho I haven't tried the latter yet) and just stack lots of strenght with molt vigor and mudarai focus school. This makes so that the Amprex, if it wasn't already melting everything, completely desintegrates enemies.
There is something so satisfying about all those robots and rocks exploding...
I've been experimenting recently (to actually pretty good results!) a drakgoon setup that tries to stack as much cold as possible and uses frostbite to multiply the damage multiple times. It does have a pretty heavy spool, but once it gets going, you're 2 tapping basically everything that moves and can often 1 shot heavier enemies with a well placed headshot.
Also got bored of the standard viral slash, so I've been doing that as my primary (it's a pretty niche build that requires a lot of different variables to be true to be viable, namely a really high amount of status but also a ton of upfront damage and Crit).
And with secondaries, I've been exploiting the flame arcane to make heat procs nearly as strong as slash procs, but also making upfront damage much much heavier. Both of these builds have the advantage that they immediately start building up damage before even getting the first kill, making them viable from the very start. They do have the disadvantage that they don't decay slowly in damage, though.
Thats pretty neat to see sich a "simple" build work at higher levels. Idk i find viral slash way less fun (but its effective so till i get better stuff im running it for now
I've been having a lot of fun with a Titania build focused on raw toxic. With Archon Continuity and 2 green shards I can pretty instantly armor strip and let the toxin DoT do most of the work. Adding Roar to double dip on both the initial hit and proc damage make it a pretty fun combo.
Dude you’re so right about the grimoire. Its not good at all but its different and unique.
Regular fire is mid but alt fire actually shreds if built right with cascadia flare and gun co. Even if it doesn't kill on its own it takes a good chunk of health and gives enough energy to max in a few seconds. Works well even in SP survival with corrosive rad heat, plus electric from bubble
as a solo player who uses radiation procs as a layer of survivability cc, i absolutely love that i can now slap radiation on literally every weapon in the game...
that said im also sad now because now i need to re-grind all my lich weapons to give them innate magnetic instead of radiation so i can go full rainbow mode. lich hunting is so much work...
This looks like a lot of fun, always good fun faffing around with different elemental builds! Thanks for the helpful video MC!
Dude, love the fashion frame
The main issue with running corrisive on weapons is that either the enemies die (or are dying very soon) before you reach max corrosion stacks, or you need to wait for max stacks do do even remotely decent damage.
I would test this build before trying to use it in a mission (you should anyways, instead of believing everything you hear), and see on a case by case basis if it works for particular weapons:
slow fire rate weapons like the nataruk definitely won't reach max corrosion stacks, but does it kill anyway by taking advantage of the damage types? What about an incarnon assault rifle? Do you still take pure crit, or is a mix of both needed?
I genuinely can't wait to try out these builds myself, I just question how good this will be on weapons with lower status, and wether the emerald shard is truly needed.
Im running Cinta with corrosive rad heat and longbow sharpshot on my Ember. She strips with her abilities, and I only really need corrosive stacks on enemies immune to abilities. I've gotten over level 1000 in survival without using a green shard on her. Same setup with grimoire. It also procs electric, and tho regular fire is mid the big bubble melts with cascadia flare
I wish I could roll my r's like that. Thank you for the video good sir!
Since I am melee enthusiast and sometimes I straight up refuse to use weapons unless I make some fun synergy between melee+primary/secondary mixing up elements like you, this is what I have been doing for a long time.
We've come to a point in Warframe where we are simply dealing so much damage that most of it is usually over damage anyway. When I've noticed that, I mixed up some stuff and decided to go for raw elemental power boosted by galvanized mods and condition overload.
What I've created became a monstrosity of a loadout that can handle anything thrown at it with pretty much no ceiling. It just shreds due to the amount of dmg% it gets.
Melee: Silva and aegis prime (90% due to me being in love with the weapon, 10% due to a riven that I like). A lot of these mods can be swapped around to min-max better but this is what gives ME the most fun.
Arcane: Melee Exposure for Corrosive damage so we do not have to mod for it
Exlius: Dreamer's Wrath because mixing up heavy attacks is just fun
Primed Reach for 4.95 attack range
Killing blow for synergy with Tennokai
Focus Radon for Radiation and Heavy attack efficiency
Amalgam Organ Shatter for Tennokai synergy
My Riven (92.9% status chance, 96.4% crit damage, 150.9% melee damage, 0.66 corpus damage)
Weeping wounds to make sure that you will always proc status
Max rank blood rush for critical chance (But it can be pushed down to rank 7 and paired with Melee duplicate so you have even better Tennokai synergy)
Condition overload for INSANE damage boost with the amount of status we will proc on every enemy
Since I am running Kullervo for my melee shenanigans I do have Nourish subsumed on his 4. Thanks to that we have Corrosive, Radiation, Viral, Heat, Impact and Slash (both from combos) ONLY from the melee weapon itself. We can add to it priming with Diriga and there is no enemy that can survive yellow crit from 12x heavy attack hitting for millions.
For primary I've settled on Tenet Arca Plasmor that just evaporates enemies with magnetic as progenitor, thanks to that I can have:
Heat, Radiation, Magnetic, Corrosive, Viral (with nourish) each time I shoot at the enemy.
Arcane used is dexterity because I whip it out only from time to time since I am mostly slashing people in melee in missions.
After you realise that 99% of the time you're over killing enemies there is just nothing there to stop you in terms of making up fun and viable builds, because everything dies anyway. With those words, go and spread the love of fun builds, abolish the super optimised min-max meta designed for level cap if you're not playing for level cap. Keep warm and have fun people
Once i got tennokai i took off amalgam organ shatter and killing blow
Silva and Aegis are still my favorite melee weapon, I use pretty much the same build on my Ember paired with Cinta and the Grimoire. Tennokai and melee exposure make it feel the best it ever has. It's so much fun 😁
God this is really cool, the amount of builds on this game now is beautiful
fun maths : corrosive heat vith tauforged emerald shard deal more damage than 2 emerald for an armor
Amprex mains for the win brother.
Try it with purple shards.
Purples also modify the Ignis in a weird way
Yeah I've been experimenting the radiation mods on every weapon, it is nice that even feels like a new layer of control when it procs. Even with melees with condition overload it amplifies the damage for another bit. I'm running helstrum too but with gas and electric and I feel more capable of going at any mission without changing my loadout too much. It is nice.
multi element has always been a thing that ive used on my kuva nukor, with a magnetic progenitor, and building for heat +corrosive i can have up to 4 elements at a time (heat, (innate nukor element)radiation, corrosive and (progen element) magnetic.
I call it the racist beam because it works against all factions all the time. sometimes i change the corrosive to viral for fun but usually its not needed either way because of all the raw damage from gun CO
I feel these radiation mods have completely changed my modding where I’m incentivized to keep it because of the 75% bonus to grineer and added cc.
Plus to that build, you could take away heat damage and use cold instead and equip the frostbite weapon arcane, I have been using the aksomati with a similar build and the cold damage arcane and does a decent damage dealing 3 elements in the same weapon
Thank you, this was educational !
I've been using Rad+Cold on my Supra Vandal for Hydroid even before the emerald shards. Now that Radiated Reload is here and you can get radiation with one mod, I even have a flex slot for Hammer Shot or what-have-you.
I was going to do this as well, because Amprex is still one of my favourite Primary weapons in the game, but I have to admit I'm a bit scared. Emerald Shards are being used for some criminal stuff, and I don't want to waste two Tau Shards making one Tau Emerald when DE might make them obsolete. I have 5 Emerald at the moment (2x Saryn + 2x Mesa + 1x free just to have it on the Shards bar), but making a Tau to have fun with Corrosive + Heat could mean a waste of two good Tau Shards.
Whining and [DE]Fixed out of the way, I love this idea and the Amprex build! I'm gonna wait for the first patch (or two), and then I'll decide on what to do. Thank you!
(me who took extensive breaks after false profit coming back to find my old Corrosive/Heat Amprex build does steel path in new area)
Yee this a good update. Now to get an emerald shard
As long as I don't have to hamfist a 900% STR Roar-Pillage-Terrify on every frame, I call it an absolute win.
for those of us who end up doing "team play" most of the time, it's just better to use things that work against "full armor" or zero armor.
I only run with radiation on my builds sometimes to have additional element for condition overload-like setups. And I guess the extra reload speed on rifles is kinda good.
Tho when I go against murmur faction I opt to run radiation with heat or electricity, but I usually have either roar or nourish on my frame so I get extra spicy slash procs from hu-mu either way. If the enemy doesn't die for the up front damage first. Like I have 337% str on my revenant and roar is 101% dmg buff. I have fulmin modded only for viral and whatever electricity the weapon has base. And I have seen over half a million damage numbers, and over 100k dot procs on enemies, provided I have thrall pact and maximum amount of thralls running around. Even in steel path necramecs and all kinds of eximus enemies just roll over and cry.
Been doing this since like...Kuva Liches? The moment I learned you can get innate radiation on kuva weapons, I never looked at anything else for those.
I was gonna ask with this exact same build would keeping the 75% bonus do more damage than having a full strip with everything the same.
Then I though. Both rip things to bits either way so why does it matter 🤣?
I love your videos man. You prioritize fun that gets the job done 😎
Only reason i use 2 basic emerald shards is that i want to maximise the effectiveness of the abilities for qorvex, so i find myself using the vome mod for the tome while using rad/corrosive and i seem to be doing fairly well against steel path enemies
Fum fact striping armour completely negates the damage bonuses from said armour type say you completely armour striped a corp unit you wouldn't get the 70% damage boost from magnetice procs as if you left them with 1% of there armour you'll still get the 70% damage boost so by comparison do you want the potential 70% damage boost of not
Not sure if its useful or anything but i usually just go with two Green corrosive shards with a tenet Cycron modded with corrosive and heat dual stats + maxed Cascadia Flare. Seems to work fine for me, despite lacking the armor damage bonus (which i didn't know existed till a few days ago) beaten a few netracells with it too.
What do you mean "lacking the armor damage bonus"?
The corrosive projection aura?
MC mentions it in the video, once the armor is stripped, the corrosive damage bonus that comes with attacking an enemy with armor weak to corrosive goes away.
@@shilem-ej6tn oh yeah, you got 2 green shards. Right, right. Did you switch to just one? If you did, did you notice a difference
I don't have a tauforged green shard, and even if I did, I do not have any confidence to tank high-level content without the full armor strip... so I guess I'm not the right guy to ask.
@@shilem-ej6tn im gonna make a tauforged one. It is cool when the enemy health bar turns red from full strip tho.
Now all they have to do is introduce more interesting enemy types to shake up how we play.
I genuinely think they need to buff the status effects to be more viable like viral / slash, this game design philosophy of "Oh these are meta, make new enemies resistant to it, that way the rest have some use"
I feel like DE has been pushing radiation damage on us for a while now.
Radiation has always been good for bosses and stuff, but we just never modded for it as both Heat and Corrosive are generally more desired for regular gameplay. Now with these mods, this is no longer a problem.
@@NinjaSyao its more about that this new Murmur faction is all about radiation, which HAS been used to death on boss fights and what not, any weapon you use in the new Deimos tilesets you should be able to bring it to an Eidolon hunt no problem, Circuit will do just fine, Zariman with ease, so on so forth. The rest of the gameplay is not really up to par anymore.
Yeah, i thought it was kinda weird how it's so common, but now that it's easier to build for both heat and rad, i like it a lot more. Also, DE seems to give radiation some special significance related to the void, as a sort of catch all mystical damage type when no other one fits. According to Radiation lich Ephemera, it's also "the energy of the trickster warframes"
Heat is still my favorite, and I'm glad it's gotten some love at least in incarnon modes since it semi rare before
@@blazesalamancer8767 I'm guessing its their wordplay on cosmic ray radiation, we also have void damage reserved to Xaku/Drifter/Operator as a jack of all master of none, and everything left on the void apparently just dies... except sentients? For whatever reason.
meanwhile me with my 100% defence strip pillage in your pub squad.
Note, not armour strip. Defence.
Another combo I found really nice is a fast 50/50 corro/viral melee (exposure can be quite useful) with forced slash procs on top. Deal extra damage, no matter if they have armor left and watch your damage per hit grow bigger and bigger.
It makes a lot of primaries have a true "cheap" endgame build vs EVERYTHING being 4 polarities and hunter munitions.
I run a 3 forma Torid that is exactly that amprex setup, and it doesn't care until levels are WAY higher than I'm reasonably gonna go for, and even then... I play Hydroid with Nourish so I apply viral to EVERYTHING
I went up to lvl 700 with my friend. We were playing arbitrations / survival.
my convectrix riven is pretty broken lol 😅
I liked when corrosive was the meta. Good times back then 🧐
I use the MIGHTY SEER
Warframe be like:
Your friend is sick at the hospital? Try Viral+Slash
No money? Try Viral+Slash
I get upset with myself every time im in the simulacrum and eventually conclude after testing for a while that the same old viral/slash setup is the best. I want to break away from the meta, so I appreciate this video!
There’s a steel essence multiplyer when you stay longer then 1 hour thus why
For circuit you just don't need to build for elements since you get cold, heat (if fast fire rate), toxin (if headshotting), viral and corrosive from decrees and that is really all you will ever need so putting a bit more crit or fire rate on your guns is the better option.
Of course this all is slightly irrelevant since with a decent gun you don't lack damage and are more in danger of getting instakilled or your defensive objective getting melted in seconds.
I'm pretty sure that duviri disables archon shards, also, they never fix operator related bugs which sucks, I just needed to spill this out.
finally someone telling armor like it is
99% of people spend 99% of their time fighting enemies less than level 250
so why the heck are we worshiping meta setups for level cap?!?!?!?!?!?
makes no sense
You're real. Everything is fun and usable when the meta police aren't involved
I've been dying a lot in warframe recently. I'm back into the game after 5 years and I'm super rusty. As I'm working through my arsenal, I notice that even in high level SP content, no one has said anything about my weapon or frame choice, even when it was questionable.
The only time I hear about "meta nerd" are in videos like this. I hope this year we can put aside this animosity and let everyone just use what they want, meta, fun or meme.
Yeah truth is most people just don’t care what the other people in the team are using as long as your performing well with it and it works for the content your running
@waliedsalam2487 my performance hasn't been great though, and yet there's still been no "meta nerds" calling me out for using suboptimal loadouts. I just think it's interesting that even playing high end content, these meta nerds we are 'supposed to dislike' don't actually exist
Meta nerds are real and trash others who dare do fun in their missions by not using only the best arsenal
@@souleater4242564kodd I play a lot of late game content. So if not there, I'm not sure where they are going to show up.
What region do you play in?
they are real there just isn't any content where u having a bad build actually affects them. I for example dont care if people dont run optimal setups cause i can just do everything myself anyways warframe is a very self sufficient game right now. u dont rely on others to keep you alive, deal the damage,CC,etc u can do it all by yourself.@@CS0723
I personally use corrosive cold fairly often do to me getting max level primary frostbite before merciless
A long time now i hated the viral/slash builds, its takes time to kill.
The cor./heat i run even before the lichs came to exist is much better for me,
I dont want to do 1 hit then wait for the kill to happen.
The only dot i "like" is Saryn's Spore.
2:17 hold your horses. You either armor strip fully and hit them with anything, or viral + slash. Why would you need viral slash if you already armor stripped fully? Whole ploint of Bleed is that it is True damage therefore unaffected by armor.
Would xatas whisper be of practical use used in conjunction with a heat, Radiation, Corrosive exalted blade?
I gotta try that out. It sounds awesome 👌
I like using full strip and viral/heat damage for upfront, not for DoT but against murmur i would have to change vural for the ufront since it's only awesome against grineer flesh
i think he never heard of void cascade
Slapping two tau green shards so I can full armor strip with just corrosive
Well running toxin on regulators Mesa but archon continuity
I'm trying a thing
You dont need tau ones then
Actually, this is better than the viral slash meta cuz dealing millions of damage in 6seconds is way worse than dealing tenth of that in 1second.
No matter how much you dealt, if the enemy had 10k hp, you dealt 10k dmg
Question, on Saryn 1 or 2 emarald tals for corrosive? 🤔
1 tauforged if u want to use the damage bonus, or 2 normal shards if u only care about fully stripping. Cant full strip with only one shard. Depending on the rest of your setup, they are both equal choices
Also dont sleep on shield on blast status, with catalyzing shield it means you are almost immortal as long you keep triggering it, i was using with hildryn, and even thought it removes overshield, having my shield filled up with haven active was good.
i am very happy with this new mod to add rad on everything, now i can have my kuva/sis with magnetic and not suffer much, as rad is effective against what magnetic is weak, win win.
I mean Hildryn herself can just use pillage to restore her shields, but yeah they're great for shield gating on some other frames. I've been using Mesa with her 4 modded for blast toxin with archon continuity. Been debating on adding max corrosive stack shards but then I'd give up pistol crit chance.
Hey I don't know if you can explain this but even after 4K hours in Warframe, I don't understand it. You know how the new enemies have armor on top of their machinery hp? What's the effect of the machinery HP on blast damage? Like.... does it only benefit me to use blast damage if I fully strip 100% of their armor, exposing the machinery? If I strip 99% of their armor, does blast damage start to perform better? How does it work?
I wonder which elemental mix mod DE will make next. Im hoping for viral but itll probably be blast
My money is on Magnetic. It's not a bad element, but just like Radiation it suffers from having to sacrifise the far more desirable Viral to get it.
So nice to just kill enemies rather than DoT them with bleed and viral- even if the DoTs are quick.
Is it good for Hydroids passive?
Screw the meta, melting grineer with the pure solar plasma build of heat, radiation, and corrosive is awesome! Void pyromancer time 🔥
If I put this video on hydroid it'd go even crazier right?
I hate Meta and have actively fought it every step of the way. I also went up to enemy level 2500 in the steel path circuit while using a grendel prime with 2 amber archon shards 2 crimson an 1 azure. I only have 2 forma in him. I was using subpar weapons an was with my wife and two randos. You don't need meta build to go far. And for the idiots that say meta is everything, I have a bridge in India to sell them with unicorns repairing the pavement daily.
The requirement of an archon shard to make this setup viable is what completely kills any desire for me to even bother with it. Weapons built like this are only going to be effective on the frames I put those shards on is just unacceptably restrictive. The upfront cost of two tauforged shards just to get corrosive back to what it's power used to be when it never should have been nerfed in the first place is ridiculous. And DE continuously kneecapping status-only weapons with resistences because they think viral slash is too powerful is incredibly infuriating.
I really don't like that the game is moving more and more towards less flexible setups like this. The lack of this sort of "X character needs x weapon built x way to deal with x thing" was what I initially enjoyed about the game so much when I started 7 years ago.
You don''t need to strip for viral slash, and murmur mobs being "resistant" to slash doesn't mean anything when slash procs deal true damage.
Always happy to see antimeta thinking. I definitely appreciate the video, gonna have to go farm shards now lol
Gl with that lol.
Is it viable to go green shard while you have corosive ONLY on pet (And melee after the influence arcane gets fixed) ? Or in orher way how much damage you get by going from 10 to 13 corosive stacks on average lvl 200 SP ? Idk if sacrifacing power strenght Is Worth it
According to the wiki the green shard bonus only works for your Warframe and weapons, NOT for companions. Shame really, as I was hoping to turn my pets into armor strippers v.v
I'm laughing really, really, really hard at metanerds 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Does this build work on the torid incarnon?
Has anyone reworked there exalted weapons in conjunction with archon mods
I might have to build a corrosive heat and radiation exalted blade
Don’t like meta? Use guass and make a slower, harder hitting gun into a machine gun with his fire rate and reload speed. Screw the dots. 😂
Throwing down the Gauntlet to The "Meta Nerds" 😈 !!!
It seems "meta nerds" have finally caught up to my old builds from 5 or 6 years ago. I see everyone doing millions of damage while only taking out 4 or 5 guys at a time. Meanwhile I'm sheading 12 to 20 guys at a time with the bare minimum damage required. I'm way more EFFICENT at killing and yet the ingame tracker will NEVER say I am. The Meta is only important to idiots who don't realize your Damage % is a worthless indicator of how good you are.
first
My only complaint about this new stuff is how late you're getting all of this. Otherwise, incredible update for the elemental meta without a single nerf.
But
Why?
dude you can't kill in a necracell without slash. its not meta, its logic
what are you even running you can kill pretty easily
?? you can easily kill them with upfront damage, just need to think about the loadout before heading in.
@@Jazzimus or equip baruuk/kullervo/wisp/whatever and win
I dont know what are you saying. Netracell is just lv 300 but normal mobs. So basically it is a bit harder than normal SP mobs.
And iirc there is no "hard armor" murmur( except something like necramech or a murmur worm i dont really know how to deal- i just ichor them to the end!)
the fuck have u been running then
It's also going to work fine in Circuit, unless you are insanely unlucky with your decrees any fully built gun works. Anyway good stuff for status fans.
all i ever get in circuit is melee decrees lol
