I actually had to stop following and checking out Holo Taco, because they just keep putting out so. Much. Stuff. I have a lot of Holo Taco, that I do love, but I've been working on clearing out and using up my mail polish collection - I do not need 10 similar shades. I also feel like a lot of their colours already exist out there. I am really happy for Cristine and Ben, they are so smart and seem lovely, and they work really hard, but I can't keep consuming everything on the planet because I liked some videos 7-8 yrs ago
The periwinkle is such an obviously stunning shade, but the one that really surprised me was how much I actually love Ginger Snatched!!😱 I’m not even sure why since neutrals aren’t something I normally reach for, but it just looks so gorgeous & unique; I can’t wait to try it
I am a huge blurple girl and have been WAITING for this perfect periwinkle. My next dream is they come out with a periwinkle crushed holo! But I ordered most of these and can’t wait to do the cookies n’ cream look with the white shimmer and black flakie!
i feel like a black flake topper is better than black flakies inside another polish because you have control over the application! like, i would rather do an intentional jelly sandwich than have a jelly polish with stuff in it that I maybe wouldnt have paired myself
Brownie points literally looked like chocolate syrup in that first couple of swipes!! I LOVE the browns, brown and orange are my favorite colors so I'm always super happy to see any shade of brown. This collection looks really cohesive and cute, I'll only be picking up the browns and the shimmer and topper though. Excited for them to come in, thank you for dropping a review on release day it helped me confirm my choices of which shades I want to pick up!
I can't see myself wearing the Milky White Shimmer without a topper, like another shimmer, over it. Imagine Polar Princess or even Celestial Lights over the MWS 😍 I love using HT cremes for nail art, so i was very happy to see this collection. Ginger Snatched & Brownie Points have me shook! I feel like most speckled toppers have a hard time evenly distributing and you have to end up picking out certain speckles and placing them a certain way. But this speckled topper distributes so evenly, it’s absolutely beautiful. Nice job Cristine ❤️❤️

I remember when I was little I once saw someone having a white car with big black assymetrical dots stickers on it, forming a cute cow pattern. I thought it was so cool, so I'd probably choose that. With a little flower sticker on the side, a cute cow-car 😂

I enjoy HT but I love mooncat polish! I prefer the sheer mooncat polish since they tend to leave no brush stokes and are full coverage with slight nail coverage on one coat. The colors from the crème collection are pretty and would be lovely to see in nail art designs !

I love me a black speckle topper! Orly has a black and white glitter speckle topper that I love, but it is VERY textured, so I am excited to try this topper as an alternative. It looks really good on your nails, so it will probably look good on mine.

I do love using toppers to smooth over polishes that I didn't apply well tbh 🤣 but I'm sure you're better than you think, we are all our own worst critic!!
@KelliMarissa we are our own worst critics. I do gel overlays, and certain polishes make every mistake blatantly obvious. Since I went to TH-cam University, I am my only client lol.

Haha honestly I do think it's too opaque to be a topper over other colors BUT it does work for jelly sandwiches!!

I love the color story with this collection, loving the black flake taco, brownie points & Peri-social, but this is one of the launches I can live without them .... I can wait until later and then i'll grab those as singles.

I'm LOVING the black flakes and can't wait to get that one. I feel the same as you about the colors. I'm not a big fan of pastel cremes, but the black flake totally transforms them into something I would love to wear.

Black Flake Taco is the only thing I was interested in before I watched this. Now I might pick up one or both of the browns...

I don't usually go for pastels either, but the black flake taco changes the whole vibe! I definitely will add these to my collection at some point.
Nude polishes aren’t really my thing but I’m excited by the periwinkle. I like the black flakes, though I will probably use it on mid tones and jelly sandwiches.
The periwinkle is def the best of the collection!

I absolutely love Holo Taco and have many colours. My favourite thing though is collecting all the blacks they release and a black flake taco fits my blacks nicely
I love this collection! Ice cream is favorite treat so i have all kinds of ideas for nail art. I think the topper is gorgeous. I love that type of flakie topper and when my no buy is over Im buying! The sheer is pretty too.
I love me a black speckle topper! Orly has a black and white glitter speckle topper that I love, but it is VERY textured, so I am excited to try this topper as an alternative.

However, I am a sucker for the collection theme, and that makes me like the black flakes cause you have to have those for cookies & cream. So I’m probably going to get these.

I love them! Although I've been painting my nails regularly for several years, I'm still not great at it 😅 that shimmer makes me nervous. I LOVE the black flakie. Black, irregular glitters are one of my favorites.
I do love using toppers to smooth over polishes that I didn't apply well tbh 🤣 but I'm sure you're better than you think, we are all our own worst critic!!
@KelliMarissa we are our own worst critics. I do gel overlays, and certain polishes make every mistake blatantly obvious. Since I went to TH-cam University, I am my only client lol.
