Wow. One of those rare moments where a piece of music captures me so intensely that I literally forget to breathe. This is my first exposure to Hellscore (having already been a fan of Scardust), and you earned an instant fan here too. Could not subscribe fast enough!

Overall impression: simply WOW!! All those harmonies, gorgeous. What impressed me even more was the drums. With my eyes closed, I could almost see Jukka flailing away. Towards the end, I certainly had a few "ah ... Anette" moment. Many Nightwish fans will not take that as a compliment, but I certainly do mean it as one (and I'm a die hard fan since 1996). Sure, Anette (and particularly her voice) wasn't a good match for Nightwish, but I always felt that she got a lot of hate for all the wrong reasons (talking about her vocals). I personally think that the last few songs in this medley show, that while the vocals sounds less "typically" Nightwish (more like Anette's type of voice), they still sound great either way. Feel free to disagree, but I will stand by those words.
Agreed! Especially the Storytime part, they nailed sounding like Anette (and I don't just mean the more nasal sound :P ), which I mean as a genuine compliment. Anette did the songs written for her very well!
Anette kinda has a more youthful sound I feel like than the other vocalists, which is not a bad thing at all. It brought a different sound and feel to their music during her time with them and I think it's wonderful haha.
So so so good. Just wonderful. Great arrangement and expressive beautiful voices. Would be a killer live experience. When live music and travel are again a thing, I'll be booking a trip to Israel. Or maybe you decide to visit Russia...
