Actually music wasn’t like this in the 70’s queen decided to mix opera and rock, this was one of the first songs longer than 3 minutes that got popular enough to make it onto the radio( which was obviously huge at the time)

My first favourite song . I was 14 and this was the first song that meant so so much to me. Still feels the same and I’m now aged 60. This plus hotel California. I was at Queen Elizabeth school Hexham 1975.
Your interpretation is spot-on. Although Freddie never explained what Bohemian Rhapsody was about, many people (including Brian & Roger) now believe it was about the struggles Freddie faced about his sexuality, what his family & friends would think etc etc. I love your enthusiasm for "BoRhap" and Queen in general. The fact that someone of your age is so excited about this song nearly FIFTY years later is a great testament to Freddie and Queen. Their music will live forever!
I'm 22 and have fallen in love with Queen. So sad I never got to see Queen with Freddie. But I'm so bloody lucky to be able to see Queen perform with Adam Lambert in Glasgow. I have cried over their songs! 💚
Yes I am a teen of the '70s and I heard that this song was from the pain when Freddie and his lover realized they had contracted AIDS which eventually took both of their lives.
Queen to me represents a fantastical magic accident. A group of pure hearted musicians who were extremely disciplined and courageous set out with the very best of intentions to make music. And by pure luck they found each other. Brian May was an exceptional and fanatical musician. His ability to focus on the smallest details was insane. It shows that he loves music with all his heart and this is why they could make such badass music. By comparison to other guitarists, Brian is perhaps the cleanest guitar player I have ever seen. Freddie Mercury makes it look easy. But what he does is actually hella difficult. He was a creative soul to the core and at the same time a roaring lion of an entertainer. He was strait up obsessed with being the best he could be and he toiled endlessly behind the scenes for decades to achieve this level of artistry. Freddie just had something burning within him that he had to express. It was music. The mixing and sound manipulation done during the recording process of Queen albums is absolute perfection. I feel people do not adequately appreciate the skill in this. They achieve incredible success as recording artists because of this. Legends.
It's been nearly 50 years since I heard "Bohemian Rhapsody" for the first time. It still hits me like a sledge hammer! I knew, when I heard it for the first time, that I'd never heard anything like it before (and probably never would again.) Thank you, Freddy Mercury and Queen! My life is better (and I am a better person) for having you in my life.
Geez, I remember when I first heard it, (and I wasn't even born until '77) I was so confused / amazed that I had to call the radio station and ask "what at am I listening to?!?" It's funny to watch these rxn videos and see people just as confused as I was!
But back then (and in the early 80s when I 1st heard it, I was born in 77) we only heard it without headphones, it was on the radio and if we had the equipment and had 2 speakers it would bounce between the 2 but it wasn't until years later we would truly hear the bounce of the two layers when technology caught up with their genuis!
@@joywalsh6150 I'm with you. I was born in 1968 and heard this only on radio (usually on the bus going to school) until I was over 20. I was not a cool kid so, while I had a Walkman analog by 1983, I did not own any Queen music until much later. Still, it was pretty awesome and added an extra special layer when I DID hear the bounce. LOL
Most groups wrote their music, played their instruments, put the music together & performed their own recordings, and performed LIVE ON STAGE….THEY REALLY DID IT ALL!!!
I love that you love this. The best interpretation of this song I have heard is that ... Freddie wrote this as a goodbye to Farrukh Bulsarra and hello to Freddie Mercury against his parents wishes. He is still known as one of the best if not the best singers of all time. His range was incredible maybe look the video on his vocals. I was born in '65 and have two sons 26 and 28 and they have said they hate all the songs out now about sex , drugs etc and the language in them. One's favourite band is The Eagles and Queen and the others is The Beatles, in saying that they like music up to some 2010s then it goes downhill. There are so many songs in Queens catalogue I could recommend and sooooo many other bands also I don't know where to start
The bands in the 60"s and 70"s were the best, honestly as teenagers we were in 7th heaven all the time and I really believe life was awesome because of the musicians we had during those times, everyone had a good time 🇬🇧
I think because they were _musicians_ first, and performers second. They worked hard, gained the skills first. Too many people now want to skip the work- which is why we have auto-tune and so much mindless stuff that all sounds the same.
I absolutely LOVED your breakdown of this song. Pointing out that it is several songs and transitions in one. The fact that you could mouth along to all the words is very impressive. Genuine passion on your part and very intuitive.
Everyone in the UK knows all the words to this song it’s in our blood Watch a crowd sing it at a Green Day concert in London . awesome . The whole crowd 50,000 sang the whole song even the guitar solo and it was absolutely awesome
The first time I heard this song was in music class when I was in middle school. My music teacher heard the song the night before and stayed up all night learning it and typing up the lyrics and printing them out on the old purple ink dittos for us - (people my age will understand what I mean)- he was so excited that he had us all hyped up too and we spent the next few weeks talking about Queen, Freddy, harmonies, and rock operas. I still feel his excitement everytime I hear it!
Mercury had a huge vocal range and flawless pitch and rhythm. He sang at opening of the Olympics in Barcelona with a welll known soprano and more than holds his own.
I love so much that since you first heard this it is so clear that you have become such a fan of this song and your desire that your friend somehow hears the imporantance of what this song conveys to the soul is overwhelmingly evident in your behaviour. I can only thank you for letting me witness truely, how much this song means to you.
@@jennifertaylor6197 When I saw him with Queen on the American Idol finale I was so happy. I knew right then and there that Queen could now go on and honor Freddie with Adam's amazing performances.
I grew up listening to this my Mum is a massive Queen fan, Saturday mornings as a child helping with the house work with this blaring at full volume, was magnificent!
All the record companies said this would never work, wouldn't be played on the radio, and would never be a hit. But Freddie and Queen stuck to their guns - and the rest is history! In the days before studio equipment to delete any flaws or making it sound better than it was. What you hear is how they sounded. Show your friend the Live Aid concert where Queen stole the show and Freddie has the audience in the palm of his hand. Pure magic! Thank you for sharing. x 🇬🇧
The more I watch reactions , the more I feel lucky to have grown up in that era. Boy, did we have fabulous music!!! I saw Quuen 3 times and they were as good or even better than the recorded version. Remember, no auto tune existed, it was pure raw talent. AMAZING!!!
I absolutely loved this reaction. That you are into Queen enough to introduce a friend to the band is awesome. The stage clothes at the time were called "Glam Rock attire."
Me having a very diverse taste in music, from rap/hiphop, alt rock, death/black metal to EDM, psychedelic pop, classical, n etc, without an absolute doubt, agree that Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the greatest musical creations of the 20th n 21st century.
Actually this was something so new and cutting edge at the time. The harmonies, the rock-Opera sound and the fusion of 4 separate songs telling a story had never been done and to my knowledge has never been duplicated.
I had the privilege to see them live for my 18th birthday!!! Cried my eyes out when he died! So pleased to see the different reactions of such young people appreciating what I adored as I grew up! This (my favourite) band is timeless! Perhaps you might also like Elton John, and even David Bowie? Check them out, from back in the day! I truly enjoyed your reaction!💝🙏
Finally! Someone understands that the song has different allegorical interpretations which was confirm repeatedly by Freddy who refused to attribute one definite interpretation to the song
If you two want to see something really fun, watch "Green Day Crowd Singing Bohemian Rhapsody [Live in Hyde Park 2017]" off of Green Day's official channel. It's said that when the Brits come out of the womb they get a complimentary umbrella and they all know how to sing this song. :):) Nothing like seeing 200,000 people singing this song from the kings of their age, Queen, before seeing an awesome band, Green Day.
Queen is us, we are queen. They are a part of our national heritage and in our blood!!! We make you learn the lyrics as part if becoming a British citizen!!!
As a late 30's man it's really interesting to see someone hear this song for the first time. It is obviously one of the best songs of all time. Don't know how TH-cam decided to present this to me but I think they're both really charming young American blokes.
Was always great listening to their music and buying their albums. On the back of each Queen album you could find in fine print, 'No synths used, again'. Queen was a band that could actually sing and play instruments without relying on computerised correction. Saw Queen on stage. Had to be one of the best live bands ever. The audience members were smiling at each other as they left the concert.
You’re one of a very few who totally understood the lyrics, bravo!!! No murder was committed in this song but to his old self. 👍👏👏👏👏 He’s shedding his old self for his true self, trying to be true to himself and he’s not sure how he’ll be accepted now and all that comes with that, IMO. Very intelligent insight on ur part. 👏👏👏
I love that you became a fan at Brian May’s guitar solo! He is a professor of Astrophysics and a huge campaigner for animal rights. One of my hero’s since I was 13. That’s FIFTY years for me. 😊
Very honest and sincere. Entertaining ! Have you this ,"5th Dimension" ? Stone soul picnic , age of Aquarius, we're major influences in the late 60's. Worldwide ! So good.
I enjoyed it so much to see your love for this song and how you went along, completely lip-syncing it. Yes, go ahead and watch him sing "Barcelona" with Monserrat Caballé. He composed the song and sang in duett with her. Most amazing thing you will hear.

Having been a rock musician for over 40 years I started to see a decline in musical artistry once the digital age kicked in. It allowed people who were not great musicians to used technology to make them sound good. Rock musicians had to be able to replicate the sound live on stage in order to get a record contract. If you couldn't reproduce the sound on stage you had no chance.
Mate, I agree. That's why Sam Fender makes me happy because.... Well I recommend you look into him yourself as you have so much more experience than me. My recommendations are- Hypersonic Missiles, Will We Talk, Getting Started, Spit Of You and Seventeen Going Under. His live performance sounds better than his songs to me. His lyrics are out of this world.
Just home from seeing Adam Lambert and Queen live in concert, out of this world .Brian May at the age of 74 is one hell of a guitarist. What was really good , was the amount of young people, who were not even thought of when Queen first hit music scene....
Check out the tribute concert at Wembley for Freddie the year after his passing - George Michael singing 'Somebody to Love'. He sings with the rest of the band - and it's amazing! If you want to know about them at present, then they still do concerts with Adam Lambert as the lead vocal. He's pretty good but not Freddie - but the best part is, he never says he is. He just sings the songs he loves - and he's doing great...
Actually the rock of the 70's was far from what Queen was. Queen were like the royalty of Pop Rock, and were doing experimental progressive concepts so far outside the box , that they took the world pretty much by surprise. They were what every rock band in some way strived to emulate in the 70's. I was a young kid in 1975/76 when this song was released and Queen were the very reason I went on to play guitar , and perform in my life.
@@mwfmtnman Oh Yess Bowie was ABSOLUTELY groundbreaking . My comment though was from the Guitar playing perspective.Brian May was a Virtuoso with a stellar sense of harmonic balance.
Bat Out Of Hell was on the same lines, released in 1977 but Jim Steinman wrote it as a musical in 1974, don't think MeatLoaf was striving to be like Queen.

This was a great reaction TB. To see your excitement during the song and his appreciation of the music itself was like taking a journey with y'all. Thank you❤
I'm 57 and English and I remember clearly when this came out. It was No. 1 in the charts for 16 straight weeks and I hated it! This is one of the greatest pieces of music created EVER! Also, Brian May PhD, the guitarist, built that guitar with his dad, and its still his main guitar all these years later. Thanks for doing this, lads! 💖
@@MaRoach7 I think it was because back in those days we had 3 TV channels, only 1 of which had a weekly music programme, and 4 radio stations and only 1 of those played contemporary music. I hated this song at the time because it was played every 20 minutes, every 24 hours, 7 days a week for four months! I'm an older man now and I recognise it for the classic piece of music that it is. Freddie Mercury was an absolute genius! 💖
The whole album is such a trip it takes you all over the place but you enjoy it so much. So many different styles of song. The album is called “A Night at the Opera”.
You two are taking me on a musical journey and I am so here for it!! Love MJB! Seeing his reaction to Queen does fill my heart. I am so glad that you young folk appreciate the musical genius of Queen. Thank you for keeping Freddie alive 💕
What most of today's music is missing is the harmonics. You can't get that with a computer. It only comes from a group of people feeling the music together. That's what makes these reactions so good. Hopefully it will change the musical direction and start bringing that type of music back. ✌️
"It's a metaphor..." I love that you got this because very few reactions do. You're a legend, my young friend! This song was a game changer and showed what could be done using the studio as an instrument. If you want to check out another game changer, have a listen to Tomorrow Never Knows by The Beatles. It's off their album, Revolver and is widely regarded as the forerunner to hip-hop with its use of loops. The amazing thing about it though is that the drums aren't looped, that's Ringo playing live.
So glad to see the younger generation listening to Queen. Freddie Mercury is one of a kind. There is no other. Just love his voice. Maybe get your friend acquainted with the other Queen songs that you reacted to . Also you'll need to watch Another One Bites the Dust live th-cam.com/video/fSqabIPCOek/w-d-xo.html.
Addicting aren’t they?? Those were the best of times… 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s in music! Queen… one of the best bands ever… Freddie Mercury.. a total one off!! Never to be replaced. Miss you Freddie!! ❤️
I wish I could have hit the like button 20 times, it's really great to see young people discovering music that was complex. You mentioned that it was like three or four songs wrapped into one, and that's because it was like a rock opera, like an orchestra played with rock instruments and voices. I hope you all continue your journey into great rock music.
Most folks get into Freddie's collab with Montsy by starting with "Barcelona", which was created for the Olympics hosted in Barcelona. Golden Boy is my favorite off that album.
Barcelona was used in the opening ceremony of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. My favorite is also Golden Boy, Freddie’s brilliant fusion of Opera with Rock/Soul/Gospel.
I think some of my best childhood memories are of listening to music from the 70s and 80s with my family. This was so good watching you guys experience and appreciate this music, what it meant to you and how it touched you.
Buckle up guys. You are in for a ride listening to the music of my generation. You will learn a lot and thank god for this. The schools out there can never give you this education. And what they are spitting out and calling music today is sad. Great reaction. This Grandma approves Enjoy.
Now you need to give him some 🎧 & have him listen to it again. The mix of their studio work always gives the music a whole other level. BTW - NEVER pause during a Dr Brian May guitar solo!! It will incite riots across the 🌎. 😁😜
What an awesome video, I really enjoyed watching you both. I'm a middle-aged dude from Canada, you're both young enough to be my kids and you're from the US. I laughed out loud when you said you got semi chubs from the song, but I get it - the song is that good. I'm pretty sure Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the great songs of humankind so far, I was a 9-year old kid when it was released. I think you're both really intelligent too - from the way you talked about the song, and Silver relating it to an anime character for today's generation. I'll watch some more of your reaction vids, thanks again.
The song was recorded in 1975, so their ages were as follows: Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano) : 29 Brian May (lead guitar, backing vocals) : 28 Roger Taylor (drums, backing vocals) : 26 John Deacon (bass, general awesomeness) : 24
Worth pointing out; that high soprano is the drummer, Roger Taylor. Freddy Mercury is the lead singer and plays piano & guitar. The lead guitarist is Brian May, who also has a PhD in astrophysics.
I think the best part of this, besides a song voted the greatest of all time in some polls, is the conversation. Two men with open minds exploring life. Brilliant. Thanks.
Hello Too Blunt. I love how you and your friend have reacted to Queen. I'm a little bit older than you :) and was in the crowd at Live Aid in Philadelphia in 1985 and watched Queen's performance from London. Take a look at the video of their performance, it's epic and is considered the best live performance ever. Rock on gentlemen!
Brotha!!! This is crazy good!! Can tell this songs age is no barrier to you, you learnt it, understood it, you sing it, you're moved by it... and now you wanna share it!!... Love this my bro!!
I love your reaction and joy for Queen and interpretation of this song. I also really appreciate your comment how boring music has gotten. There is a lack of creativity. Great artists are able to relay and drescribe love, sex, even death then just "murder, murder, murder", or my "wet pu**y".
That is the greatest thing about classic music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's & even the 2000's, all of it, not just rock, is that it has staying power with the ability to reach all coming generations who have the open minds to hear it.
The Intro section, where it shows all 4 of the band members singing, is actually a false representation. The truth is that it is only Freddie's voice you are hearing sing. He laid down 5 separate tracks of him singing and harmonizing with himself and mixed them together to create the Intro. The soprano with the high-pitched "dog-whistle" voice singing the high "Galileos" is actually Roger Taylor, the drummer. BTW - 2 members of Queen, Brian May (Lead guitar) and Roger Taylor (Drummer) still perform as Queen with Adam Lambert. John Deacon ( the bassist) retired shortly after Freddie passed.
The last transition has always given a chill for its absolute seamless beauty of the instruments and voice. The whole òutro just perfection. When you feel chills from a song, that transcending to your higher level of conscious that knows real beauty.

Geez, I remember when I first heard it, (and I wasn't even born until '77) I was so confused / amazed that I had to call the radio station and ask "what at am I listening to?!?" It's funny to watch these rxn videos and see people just as confused as I was!
He said music was like this in '75. Not so much, this kicked our asses!
YESssss
Lucky enough to be 17 when this came out and live in the UK . Without a doubt one of the best rock bands ever
I am just about a week from being 70. I am loving your reactions to the songs I grew up with.
Dang, no headphones? That’s a shame. The choir part, all the voices are separated left to right like a choir. Glad you showed him the way to Queen!!!
I was thinking the same thing. This is two different songs, one without headphones and one with.
I was about to say the same thing 👍 so much going on with the headphones
these guys got a lot to learn about music - a lot
Freddie's voice always gives me chills. The showmanship in him is unmatched.
The bands in the 60"s and 70"s were the best, honestly as teenagers we were in 7th heaven all the time and I really believe life was awesome because of the musicians we had during those times, everyone had a good time 🇬🇧
so glad i grew up in the 60s and 70s. the music was soooooo good!
June 7th 1970 , Tulsa, Oklahoma , Jimi Hendrix changed the world for alot of people , me included. Maybe it's too much for this day and age..
I think because they were _musicians_ first, and performers second. They worked hard, gained the skills first. Too many people now want to skip the work- which is why we have auto-tune and so much mindless stuff that all sounds the same.
It seems no matter what song I listen to,from our time, it has a memory attached to it. So happy I grew up like I did.
I absolutely LOVED your breakdown of this song.
Pointing out that it is several songs and transitions in one.
The fact that you could mouth along to all the words is very impressive.
Genuine passion on your part and very intuitive.
Everyone in the UK knows all the words to this song it’s in our blood
Watch a crowd sing it at a Green Day concert in London .
The purple ink reminds me the old roneo machines and the smell was toxic
Lol, Yep, it probably was toxic. But they used us for guinea pigs so often back then we had probably built up a tolerance for it by that time.
Great!
mmm....yeah... that toxic smell could get you a little high... let's be honest... how many besides me used to inhale those dittos....
@@RalphJBater everybody i knew did LOL
Mercury had a huge vocal range and flawless pitch and rhythm. He sang at opening of the Olympics in Barcelona with a welll known soprano and more than holds his own.
Freddie Mercury - Barítono voice, as Montserrat Caballe said .
No he didn't. He died before the Olympics in Barcelona.
I LOVE that he is so into this music that he has learned all of the words to Bohemian Rhapsody. This is GREAT,
I was thinking the same thing!!😊
I love so much that since you first heard this it is so clear that you have become such a fan of this song and your desire that your friend somehow hears the imporantance of what this song conveys to the soul is overwhelmingly evident in your behaviour. I can only thank you for letting me witness truely, how much this song means to you.
💯
That guitar player is Brian May, now Dr. Brian May an astrophysicist who still tours with Roger Taylor, drummer of Queen. It is quite a show!
That is what I was about to say: love to Freddie and too much respect for Brian!
And Adam Lambert, the only man on this earth who was good enough to pick up Freddie's microphone, IMHO, does an amazing job on vocals nowadays. 😎😎
@@sarcasticbimbo1420 Yes, the man that Queen felt inspired by to do justice to Freddie's legacy. Have got tickets for their concert in Paris in July.
@@jennifertaylor6197 When I saw him with Queen on the American Idol finale I was so happy. I knew right then and there that Queen could now go on and honor Freddie with Adam's amazing performances.
I actually saw Queen & Adam Lambert yesterday and they are PHENOMENAL! The best show you'll ever see. It's ridiculous how insanely brilliant Adam is!!
I grew up listening to this my Mum is a massive Queen fan, Saturday mornings as a child helping with the house work with this blaring at full volume, was magnificent!
Myself, as well!.
My kids also
It makes me so happy seeing and hearing you enjoy this song and them. Thank you for listening and appreciating their artistry. Great reaction
Meat Loaf.
@@helentonkin3348 true, and even meatloaf said he was inspired by Freddy and Queen.
I remember being 10 and singing this acapella with all my friends, we knew it all....it was number 1 for 9 weeks in the UK in 1975.🇬🇧
Real voices, real musicians, doing it live! No one put on a better show than Freddy Mercury and Queen. Love your reaction 👵🏼☮️❤️🙏🏼
Amazing reaction. I think you are 100 percent correct in your analysis.
Of course we do.. I’m 53 so I mainlined Queen 🏴🇬🇧
Yes 🙌❤️
Queen is us, we are queen. They are a part of our national heritage and in our blood!!! We make you learn the lyrics as part if becoming a British citizen!!!
Great advice that is sooo amazing to watch👏👏👏
It's Epic! 🌅
One of the all time greats for sure
As a late 30's man it's really interesting to see someone hear this song for the first time. It is obviously one of the best songs of all time.
Don't know how TH-cam decided to present this to me but I think they're both really charming young American blokes.
As another late 30s girl, we have a whole new generation that has never seen Wayne's World before, lol
@@theshadowfax239 les tragiques 😥
deadass thought u meant born in the late 30s haha
I don't think your friend understood you absolutely made my spirit fly
Was always great listening to their music and buying their albums. On the back of each Queen album you could find in fine print, 'No synths used, again'. Queen was a band that could actually sing and play instruments without relying on computerised correction. Saw Queen on stage. Had to be one of the best live bands ever. The audience members were smiling at each other as they left the concert.
Watching you two made me so happy. Gosh I miss my best friend!
I love that you're sharing and spreading the musical knowledge. And you know the words! ❤️
We need to make Caribbean music this popular
I enjoy Caribbean music but, ki da a one trick pony honestly
Written for the Summer Olympics held in Barcelona, Spain.
@@jillosler9353I know . Went to the Freddie Mercury birthday party on 2019 in Montreux. Guess my costume... Monserrat :)
Peter Freestone commented: "You look amazing my dear!"
The whole album with Montserrat is absolutely amazing, particularly Guide Me Home, How Can I Go On and Golden Boy, all available on TH-cam.
This was Freddie Mercury's Opus he created. The man was a genius of his time. Thanks for keeping Queen alive.
I am glad you are discovering the classics. This song will be relevant 100 years from now. When music is that good it travels with us through time.
Love you man. 63 year old Englishman here. Your appreciation of other genres especially this track is intoxicating. Wanting to pass on to your mate and even Diss certain trends today. Your a genuine, fine critique and I'll be watching you again. I think your friend will eventually get it if he listened to it a few more times although nothing like as strong as your appreciation. You definitely have it locked in. Respect. Frickin amazing Bro 👍👏

True 🤘
Mate, I agree. That's why Sam Fender makes me happy because.... Well I recommend you look into him yourself as you have so much more experience than me. My recommendations are- Hypersonic Missiles, Will We Talk, Getting Started, Spit Of You and Seventeen Going Under. His live performance sounds better than his songs to me. His lyrics are out of this world.
@@pank__17 yer cheers dude, I'll check him out. Great name for a musician...fender ✌❤🇬🇧
@@coot1925 ironically he is the singer for his band and the guitarist😂. He loves guitars and Fender is genuinely his real name. Not even a stage name😂
Just home from seeing Adam Lambert and Queen live in concert, out of this world .Brian May at the age of 74 is one hell of a guitarist. What was really good , was the amount of young people, who were not even thought of when Queen first hit music scene....
Adam Lambert shows alot of respect for Quenn while still doing his own thing.
@@michellepreston9799 Yes! I've seen them live and Adam's just amazing. Love him.
When you are a Queen activist, you have arrived. Welcome! YOUR passion is beaut!
Not arguing that they weren't unique but, come on, you had Bowie, Yes, Rush, Floyd, all doing really diverse unique things. I mean Bowie, dude.
@@mwfmtnman Oh Yess Bowie was ABSOLUTELY groundbreaking . My comment though was from the Guitar playing perspective.Brian May was a Virtuoso with a stellar sense of harmonic balance.
@@headrushindi ah okay
Bat Out Of Hell was on the same lines, released in 1977 but Jim Steinman wrote it as a musical in 1974, don't think MeatLoaf was striving to be like Queen.

Check out Queen’s performance at Live Aid - it shows how much their songs have entered peoples psyche and what an amazing performer Freddie Mercury was
Absolutely! That was a Pinnacle performance!
I was born in 77. I have listened to Queen in the 80's, but I've never heard of Bohemian Rhapsody until Wayne's world in 1992.
This was a great reaction TB. To see your excitement during the song and his appreciation of the music itself was like taking a journey with y'all.
Thank you❤
This was fun to watch. You have a thoughtful and open minded friend and you are becoming a fan. Yay. ❤RIP Freddie Mercury total GOAT.
@Nick Langley I'm almost 60 and I remember it clearly when it came out. I was in Jr High
Nobody today plays musical instruments they just copy others, most rap is taking from others, it’s boring. So nice watching you loving this.
What most of today's music is missing is the harmonics. You can't get that with a computer. It only comes from a group of people feeling the music together. That's what makes these reactions so good. Hopefully it will change the musical direction and start bringing that type of music back. ✌️
Also the ability to play instruments like piano, guitar, drums and voice.
I am so thrilled to see how much you love these guys, too! I’m your fan!
Awwww u guys are life time friends … I just lost my childhood Bestie last month.
Love to see the loyalty ❤️❤️
Sorry to hear that ❤️ I can’t imagine what you’re going through. Hope you’re okay
So fascinating to watch facial expression on the 1st time hearing friend is priceless! Loved this. Simple, beautiful.
💯
Most folks get into Freddie's collab with Montsy by starting with "Barcelona", which was created for the Olympics hosted in Barcelona. Golden Boy is my favorite off that album.
Barcelona was used in the opening ceremony of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. My favorite is also Golden Boy, Freddie’s brilliant fusion of Opera with Rock/Soul/Gospel.
I love Ensueno. Utterly incredible!
I think some of my best childhood memories are of listening to music from the 70s and 80s with my family. This was so good watching you guys experience and appreciate this music, what it meant to you and how it touched you.
Cheers to the dude holding it down for my older generation. 👍🏼
Buckle up guys. You are in for a ride listening to the music of my generation. You will learn a lot and thank god for this. The schools out there can never give you this education. And what they are spitting out and calling music today is sad.
Great reaction. This Grandma approves
Enjoy.
Now you need to give him some 🎧 & have him listen to it again. The mix of their studio work always gives the music a whole other level.
BTW - NEVER pause during a Dr Brian May guitar solo!! It will incite riots across the 🌎. 😁😜
You have been converted to a 70s kid.. I love it. It stuck with you to the point you can explain the lyrics to your reality. You are a Queenie
you guys need headphones! BTW-love your reactions. Actually I LOVE your reactions!!!!!
The song was recorded in 1975, so their ages were as follows:
Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano) : 29
Brian May (lead guitar, backing vocals) : 28
Roger Taylor (drums, backing vocals) : 26
John Deacon (bass, general awesomeness) : 24
Love the weeping guitar!
As a genius work of art everyone can relate to this song. Timeless.
You are great reactors. Thanks
Freddie Mercury was an absolute genius. He wrote so many amazing songs and was a talent never to be forgotten ❤
I love your reaction and joy for Queen and interpretation of this song. I also really appreciate your comment how boring music has gotten. There is a lack of creativity. Great artists are able to relay and drescribe love, sex, even death then just "murder, murder, murder", or my "wet pu**y".
Love a new convert !!
Have you heard Bicycle yet? Once of my favs.
You guys make me smile.
That is the greatest thing about classic music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's & even the 2000's, all of it, not just rock, is that it has staying power with the ability to reach all coming generations who have the open minds to hear it.
I just love your enthusiasm of a band I've listened to and loved for over 40 years. You're awesome and thank you friend for your opinion.
I love your passion for music is, absolutely love it \m/
