The bees are my husband's hobby and I never thought I would get so attached to them. It's not like you can pet them or cuddle with them. But they are amazing creatures. I gave up my vegetable garden for them. I wouldn't pull any weeds in case the bees liked the flowers. And the honey is delicious...I loved this painting!
I am very grateful that you share your videos with us, your brush strokes for flowers and leaves are so magical that I have a lot of fun painting them again. Thank you!!
My paternal grandfather kept bees and harvested honey bak in the 60s. A favorite childhood memory of mine, seeing him dressed up in his protective suit. This is a lovely painting. You are my favorite artist. I have purchased three of your books so far. The tutorial steps are nicely done. Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I just tried this one, and it turned out to be beutiful, not like yours but didn't think it was going to end up being a Beautiful painting. Specially, the bees!!!! THANKS!
My personal connection to bees is if I get stung I have a terrible reaction! I do love their honey. Especially from lavender. The only good bee is the one you paint. Hahaha. Great tutorial as always.
That is so cute and sweet. I will have to give this a try after I get caught up with my other project's. My great granddaughters would love this. Thank you.
This painting turned out so pretty. I have always wanted to keep bees. I would especially love to keep bees in one of those old vintage bee skips made out of dried reeds or grasses. But trying to talk my husband into letting me keep bees is the hard part. I am allergic to bees, and no matter how hard I try to convince him it will be okay, he just won't go for it. lol!
Such a beautiful painting Harriet Thank you for sharing this with us x My problem is... watching you paint left handed I am having a bit of difficulty painting right handed !!! 😀 i'm sure I will get the hang of it soon or become left handed x😄😄
It looks gorgeous.. such a cheerful spring vibes!! 🥰 Loooved it. Also I always wondered why do we have cad. orange in the palette? Is there any specific reason to have that colour instead of mixing an orange from cad. Red & yellow. 🤔 I thought I’ll ask this time. 😬
