The reductant pump pressure sensor showed -135 mbar which triggered the adblue fault. The pump position sensor is on its way out. Next stage is gonna be a P208B or P2AD7 error with check engine light and adblue fault message. You never know if it's a month or 6, but the adblue tank to be replaced as they all come as a single unit. Tank, pump and the electronics.
Hey, sandy nice to see you work on Audis 😉 you know if anyone have cleared the codes before you got it? I have seen it clear but the warning is left and then you have no idea what to look for. I have only used odis when resetting this and it requires a drive to reset the warning, so maybe your scan tool started the test. Cheers
Modern day Shite Sandy , these systems are so complicated its untrue , we need so many scan tools nowadays to change a light bulb 😂😂😂😂, the jobs getting crazy , VCDS is a must nowadays for VW range , and idis both readily available for not big dollars , job done though , thats all that matters 👍
I had some experiences of AdBlue system. In case of AdBlue system, there's possibility that no fault code but the warning lamp on. It's because someone had only cleared the fault code before the system went back to normal. And I think your long drive is one of good solution to turn off the warning lamp. Some of AdBlue fault codes requires certain amount of AdBlue injection to go back to normal. For example, P20F4, P20F5, P20EE, etc. (The detail of required condition is probably different depending on car manufacturer)
Here is what I believe happened. I have the same car with the same engine and the same problem. I think the error code was deleted before they brought the car in. They thought just by deleting the error code the dash will also clear but this is not how it goes with this error. The actual error was 28653 - Reductant System Performance Bank 1 P204F 00 [101] - Malfunction. This is due to a failed readiness test. You should have checked that. A couple of ways to approach this but the best is to reset the readiness and do all the tests. Watch this: th-cam.com/video/baKdyEoWaDk/w-d-xo.html
I just found out that I have a new engine software - mine is 8510 now we have 9550. Hope this is exactly for this issue. Tomorrow fingers crossed I will be updating.

Some remaps include DTC disablement, that could be the reason.
