Good thing to use is 3RG brand "Stop Crystal" as it prevents the adblue system from crystallizing and cleans and keeps injector clean and also cleans any crystals from within scr catalyst. 25ml is added to 10L of adblue. We use this in our peugeot workshop and prevents the issues

The whole system should be serviceable, hot water dissolves urea crystals. Manufacturers should make a way to drain the tank, add hot water and then let it pass through the injector. The whole process would take about 40 mins, or less if part of a general service. Just had my tank replaced (Citroen GP). I noticed the injector was blocked and possibly caused this issue with the tank. I’ve now bought adblue additive to prevent crystals forming - if it work!

Peugeot Expert: got a "faulty emissions control system". Dealer cleared the error and said if it comes back (it did, immediately) would have to replace the adblue tank. Should I take a look at the injector?!
I'm buying one of these and Just doing my research, DPF Systems I'm familiar with but they ADBlue Business I'm totally new on. From all the videos I've watched it seems the DPF System EGR System and Adblue all work together, I have a way of doing a manual DPF clean on any vehicle Which hopefully should clean the DPF and Clear this Blockage too. But failing that I wouldn't mind on my service routine cleaning out this Injector too for the sake of an hours hard graft.
SCRs do not get blocked with soot. There is no need to put DPF cleaner in them (because they are not DPFs). The DPF is the top section that comes down from the turbo and stops above the adblue injector.
I am having issues with my adblue system. Why dose the 497 refill message, not change, when I drive my van for 100 miles, the same message is on dashboard 497 to refill and with the malfunction message. Thanks for your help
I have a Renault trafic 1.6, 145hp 2017. The dashboard Adblue light is on. I try to refill but it only allows me to put about 200ml inside before it's full. After some online research, I bought a bottle of Wynns anti crystal liquid and poured 250ml inside. I've left this for 2 days, but the Adblue tank still seems to be blocked. I used an Endoscope and looked inside the filler tube, no crystals seen. However I can see a plastic cap that looks like it its sealed off the main adblue tank (not sure if there's a side vent where to Adblue enters the tank). Any suggestions would be most welcome. I'm worried the CPU will shut off the engine soon. Ps I'm no mechanic, just a hands-on, DIY dude. Thanks in advance
I see a van for sale with this problem. I'm reading in the ad white smoke maybe does it 1 time a day on tick over, sometimes never does it🤔 I also read on giogle etc it could be a fuel injector but if it was fuel injector would it do it constantly so there's a chance its more the nox sensor and not a fuel injector? I may buy it and do this and hopefully it's all it is. It's advertised cheaper so what you professional think? Worth the risk? Great video.

They say, "adblue heat pipe broken, need replacement". no any more info regarding the issue from them. the heck could happen to the pipe? could it be it just needed cleaning? will the new pipe brake without a cause too?
I don't use AdBlue and won't buy a car that needs it after watching one of your videos, since I saw that video when I went in the garage to pay for my fuel I looked at the AdBlue stacked up like Mt Everest baking in the sun and I could see crystals around the filler neck and the bottles were bloated so much they looked like they might explode, the pressure inside must be so great that the AdBlue is leaking out and drying on the outside of plastic bottles, I'm getting the impression that if garages buy huge amounts of AdBlue at one go they must get big discounts on it but they don't sell it fast enough to rotate the stock quick enough,

Will this cause the P20E8 fault and if it is the pump is it already too late to clean the injector. First time I've ever had an issue with a Peugeot diesel and I've owned loads. This will be the last one I own though after discovering the issues surrounding this fault
@@ORileysAutos Thank you! My van’s adblue injector broke and it slowly started to loose power after the dashboard engine and glow plug lights went on, they keep flashing together, like a limp mode. I would try to accelerate and it wouldn’t go past 20/30km. Then it got to a point to be so slow and not moving at all and finally it wasn’t starting anymore. I bought a new genuine adblue injector and installed it but the car still won’t start and won’t read that it has been fixed. I also bought a new battery so definitely not that either. So I am not sure what’s happening at this point am I stuck on a dead limp mode car as it’s not reading the repair or would it be something else? Any advice have a merc 250d glc done 37k full service and getting a P2BA900 error adblue quality is to low. Had it into a local garage he has cleaned the adblue sensor as per this video (it was fairly clean anyway) however he can't delete the code. He said it might need a software update and needs to go to the dealers.
First check is are you using good quality adblue to Mercedes specs ? If so that usually indicates a Nox sensor issue the sensors are known to go bad & get contaminated with fuel additives plus water sitting in the exhaust system damages them, the later nox sensors have been upgraded & need a different code added then scn coded not a cheap repair as both require replacement if upgrading & are hundreds of pounds each. You might get away with a downstream old generation sensor still expensive though. Also there maybe a software update available which might cure the fault so take it to your local main dealership or a independent who has access to factory software updates

How the hell does that electrical connector undo? Everything else was straightforward but the damn electrical connector has defeated me so far. It's probably wrong to cut it off and set it on fire.
Before you try anything, try revving your car hard, pedal to the metal, for 5 seconds, three or four times, for a few days...see how you go. It worked for me.

Others have reported white deposits around the end of the exhaust from adblue injector getting stuck open and pissing the piss away. Clean injector as shown in the video, might do the trick.
The most important parts are cut and are not showing..... next time, please iclude and show how you remove all cables and everything not just jump to already removed injectior.
the more I see of your videos the more I am turned off by modern diesel cars with dfp and now ad blue. I was looking at a 2010 Mercedes E350cdi , it has a dpf, but thinking against it.

Its not saving the planet at all, you have to drive your car specially on the motorway and rev it hard to get the DPF to burn out so it doesn't clog up every 2 weeks. You use MORE fuel and burn MORE Co2 and other matter. It is just a way of ruining perfectly great Diesel cars and forcing the public to buy these stupid very expensive and very inconvenient electric cars which again aren't green when you think of all the destruction to the planet, mining lithium for those huge flammable batteries they use, same for solar panels. They don't want us driving!

My 2017 Passat with 185k has the fault code 28653 - Reductant System Performance Bank 1, possibly blocked injector?

Circuit faults are electrical either internally of the part or the wiring harness

This is a Peugeot Boxer Van HDi but very similar system on most Adblue vehicles

He hasn't got up to date scan tool. I use Launch Euro Tab 3

There isn't any particular euro 6 van I can say that is reliable. Adblue system just isn't reliable at all

the more I see of your videos the more I am turned off by modern diesel cars with dfp and now ad blue. I was looking at a 2010 Mercedes E350cdi , it has a dpf, but thinking against it.

@@hughmarcus1 The whole system is a con. Its not saving the planet at all, you have to drive your car specially on the motorway and rev it hard to get the DPF to burn out so it doesn't clog up every 2 weeks. You use MORE fuel and burn MORE Co2 and other matter. It is just a way of ruining perfectly great Diesel cars and forcing the public to buy these stupid very expensive and very inconvenient electric cars which again aren't green when you think of all the destruction to the planet, mining lithium for those huge flammable batteries they use, same for solar panels. They don't want us driving!
