it always makes me giggle knowing that Touko is literally eveywhere in the Nasuverse
she's the main antagonist of Maho Tsukai
she's an important side character in Kara no Kyokai
she shows up in Lord El-Melloi II
she's mentioned or at least referenced in Strange Fake
she was the one who made Shiki's glasses which Aoko stole and gave him in Tsukihime
AND she made Shirou's new body at the end of Heaven'a Feel in Fate
this woman is a looming entity who is just there but rarely interacts with anyone just because
she's like the living definition of "Fear of Missing Out"
at this point I wouldn't be surprised if she later becomes the Nasuverse's mascot for the sole reason of her just being IN EVERYTHING

There is a lot of Carl Jung's psychology in the Nasuverse. The shadow, the multiple personalities of Shiki (male one and female one) and so on. Interesting thing.
In my opinion the red shade that Aoko sees is the embodiment of the Counterforce. The counterforce is always trying to stop Akasha from creating something that will destroy the universe and the magics are one of those things. So either it is the Counterforce itself or a specter of the Counterforce signifying that eventually the Counterforce will create a situation where you will be destroyed. Of course this is all speculation and my opinion.
Now I'm curious to know who exactly that counterforce is, always thought it was strange we never got to see whoever was under the red hooded robed.
@@ChaolaoFueChi Well its THE COUNTERFORCE, like it will take a while for me to explain The Counterforce. I'm not sure what to say. The Counterforce isn't a person; just like how The Force in Star Wars isn't a person; but it does have agents. So maybe the Red cloaked figure is an agent of its will.

That being said, it may have been sent to an undiscernible future where it doesn't even matter and humanity is already somehow long gone anwyays before the debt is paid.
That is apparently what Nasu wants the Mahoyo story to end in, but the sequel he has yet to release is focused on Alice instead.

@@Flamelance_Accendo Pretty much, most of the story materials he has shown over time (and all the little clues he hid in Mahoyo itself) all hinted that his next Mahoyo-related story was about Alice and possibly a little about the Church and Irie (you know, Misaki City’s very own mysterious priest).
This visual novel is one of my favorite written pieces by nasu. I love each character and the lore is so interesting
Between Mahoyo and Tsukihime Remake, his republishes have truly been a breathe of fresh air.

Interesting. It wouldn't be the direct cause, but it definitely could have been a trigger. As I recall, the Aylesbury Valesti by law, is something that has to exist in both worlds. Aoko may have caused notes with this single event!

The one thing I noticed about the Fifth True Magic is that it recreates the environment to allow itself to be utilized in its full capacity. Aoko is rewriting that section of the planets texture, similarly to how CHALDEAS has done it but one a very very minor scale in comparison or how Goetia used Solomon’s 1st NP to send the grails in the past. When Aoko fully activated it, it wasn’t just for showing Touko it was to allow the True Magic to become possible to be used. As you said about the Aizaki land being the place where the true magic can be used, she is relaying that lands texture onto where she is. It’s possible she is reversing time on it to that section of the texture where True Magic was possible but Touko and Soujuurou would’ve exploded from the sheer density of Mana and True Ether.
Finally something from Mahoyo. Hope we get more

Great videos man, you made the nasuvers easier to understand. Can you do a video on Zelretch Schweinorg? I know you did one on his jeweled sword but I don't understand the man even after reading his wiki.
That's because we STILL don't know much about him other than he beat Type-Moon by surprising it with the Second Magic along with him becoming a vampire during the same fight and he made some things that use the second magic like his Jewelled Sword and the Kaleido Sticks along with him having a TON of authority at the Clock Tower and while he cannot use the second magic extensively anymore since his fight with Brunestud he CAN still use it. Also he was involved in the creation of the Fuyuki Grail War

Still one of the best characters even now. You'd think they would find a way to involve Touko too. I guess the storyline takes Touko's banishment to heart. Aoko brought this up in her ending.

Technically you should discuss the differences between Dracula and True Ancestors. Because True Ancestors are the real original bloodsuckers. Dead Apostles are familiars the True Ancestors raised… like a Ghoul. Heck, the lowest tier of Dead Apostles are basically ghouls and living Dead.

Nah, Touko deserved getting tossed around for obsessing over magic she could never even use. The moment Aoko used it Touko basically facepalmed at the fact she obsessed over something she had no use for.
On the contrary, that obsession is what made Touko the phenomenal mage she is today. It just meant that she had to grind THAT much harder for organic results. The story even leaves on the cliffhanger "Technically Touko was the real winner because she forced Aoko to use it".

@@TsiahIV Yeah, of course she is better suited! But why get second hand dregs when she can go and make her own 6th magic (Shirou body and her replica bodies could trick even scientists looking at dna samples).
@@TsiahIV Technically it is not a cliffhanger in itself. It is the intended conclusion. That mage battles are not about who defeats the other but rather who obtains their intended result. Their battle is muddled and undefined because neither of them obtained their true objective. Yes, she forced her to use it but Touko truly wanted that final piece of the puzzle that would allow her to open the path to the root (as explained by Aoko herself in the epilogue). In that sense she failed because the Fifth Magic was not that, even if she did manage to observe it.
Aoko also failed because she was forced to resort to an option she dreaded and basically created future problems for herself. So the battle had no winners.
I am just brainstorming here but something tells me that the magics are responsible for the creation of the nasu multiverse!

Dust of Osiris is a full human and her Hermes operates with the blood of the entire human race, said to be 7 billion souls. The Philospher's Stones she created can also cure vampirism and death and she was going to use them to rewrite the planet's texture.
With just technology? Those burial agency executors can put up and good fight and even defeat top tier servants.

Yo, I still don't understand what the fuck happened or what the Third Magic is actually meant to do.
“Heavens Feel is not a spell that duplicates a soul perceived in the past.
It's actually a spell to make an existence of a higher dimension that can take a spirit form and still influence the physical world.
It takes a soul and elevates it to the next level of life.”

Firstly, the Third Magic takes a soul and elevates it to a higher dimension. This is why the Third Magic includes immortality and perpetual motion.
Secondly, it makes the soul into something tangible. This is the “materialization of the soul”. The physical bodies of flesh and blood are abandoned in favor of a container for the soul. Material states “Justeaze’s use of the third magic was like careful knitting.”
Servants like the Heroic Spirits are something close to a natural example of the results of the Third Magic. However, remember that reaching the “next level of life” is the primary ability of the Third Magic, not being a Spirit in itself. As in Justeaze’s case it is the ability to knit rather than the knitted product.
@@0mnituens Question: Old Man Acht told Kiritsugu to activate Heaven's Feel after killing all the servants. Does this mean Heaven's Feel will be enacted on everyone alive? I know greater grail could do that in apocrypha but it had a lot more mana to work with.

The Greater Grail of Fuyuki should be capable of applying the Third Magic to everyone. Zolgen (Zouken) and the Einzbern are very heavily implied to have initially planned to apply the Third Magic to everyone. According to Marisbury, it seems that the sacrifice of 7 Servants to reach the Root is what allows the Third Magic to take form and cause humanity’s salvation.
The Mana of the Age of Man doesn’t really matter beyond Servant summoning and supplying. It’s not pure enough as magical energy to truly power a Holy Grail. This is why the Heroic Spirits are summoned. They have the pure magical energy that’s needed for omnipotent wish-granting and opening a path to the Root. I don’t know if there’s a difference between having sacrificed 7 Servants and 14 Servants.
@0mnituens Thank you for clearly that up. Now zip forward to Zero, Mr.Tohsaka tells both Kotomines his plan is to reach the root. This is weird because he says the Einzberns and Matous have forgotten their original plan and half "less altruistic purposes". Going of the dialog, it seems like the Tohsakas rather use the greater grail to reach the root, the ultimate magi goal, rather than activate heavensfeel.

I don’t think it was ever clarified what Tokiomi’s plan was for the path to the Root. I doubt he planned to form the Third Magic and enact humanity’s salvation. The Church sided with Tokiomi because he would use the Root responsibly to not affect the World. And I don’t think Tokiomi lied to Risei and Kirei.
