What the World Has to Offer: 1 John

In 1 John 2:15-17, John tells us that we not to love the world. If we love the world, we pursue it and the things in it. Amd we can't pursue the world and God at the same time. The world tries to tempt us in three ways, appealing to the desires of the flesh, the eyes, and the pride of life. But the world and its things will not last; they are temporary. They won't bring satisfaction. True satisfaction is only found in doing God's will.
