Stacy, you are going to make me cave in and cast on! I have the yarn caked up with the pattern in a bag and it’s been sitting in a corner for months! Yes, I do need flowers in the winter! ☺️💕
I just randomly came across your channel, and I’m so glad I did, I have a friend making the pressed flowers shawl, and between her version and yours I am convinced I need to knit myself one, I absolutely love your colors! Also I just moved to the metro Detroit area with my little family a little over a year ago! Hope you are snuggled up under a warm shawl with all this wind today! ❤️
Okay, I’m so ready to make this now. It looked intimidating, but it doesn’t seem that bad now that you’ve explained it! It looks so beautiful in that color combo!
I’ve never done mosaic or charts so I’m going to knit the hat. Digression is the better part of valor. I chose brown as my main color and a sort of salmon pink for the contrast.
I am about to begin knitting the Pressed Flowers Cowl so I really appreciate your comments about it. I’m a newer color knitter so this makes me feel like I can do it! Ty! 🥰
Hello Stacy I'm about to knit the Pressed Flowers shawl and found your podcast talking about the pattern. I'm a mirror image left handed knitter with dyslexia. I also need written instructions but that always doesn't help me. Just starting .. I've already cast on 3 times. Then I heard you say there's purl rows.. I totally missed that as the pattern say knit rows. I think Ill try reading the chart like a picture. Hope I get it started. Thanks for 'pushing' me with the chart
I’ve watched this video at least 6 times in the last few days 😂 I’ve decided I’m casting on tomorrow! I’m using swanky dk by magpie fibers in their color ways adella is the greatest (dark green with warm brown speckles) as the MC and bougie beaver (medium/light rose gold) as the CC. I appreciate your candor and inspiration so much ❤️
This looks like such a fun pattern! I recently decided to acknowledge that I'm not much of a shawl-wearer, but I think my aunt would love this, if I chose to go for a process knit. Maybe I could even figure out how to take this pattern and make it into a cowl for myself too. (Or maybe both and I could force my aunt into twinning with me, haha.)
I watch all your podcasts and love them, thank you for contributing to the knitting community. I've posted this question on the designer's website about the Pressed Flower Shawl, and she hasn't answered it. I'm hoping you can help as I'm knitting this for a Prayer Shawl Ministry. Would you be willing to explain how to knit Row 57, the first row after the Repeat Chart is completed? I'm confused about how to line up the "16 stitch" blocks because the patterns says we'll only have two more of them. My calculations bring it to 6 flower blocks in that row(16 stitch block). Can that be correct? Thank you so so much!!
Stacy, please help me. I don’t know what is the next procedure after row 25. I’m stack to row 24. How will start row 25 repeat. Thank you👌🏽God Bless for your help ❤🙏
It looks so beautiful Stacy! Do you think it would be possible to make it with two strands of fingering held double? For some reason, beautiful DK yarn is hard to come by in Denmark....Thanks a lot :)
Hi Stacy/everyone, I've cast on and finished the set up pattern! I'm about to start the pattern repeat but I've read the chart and all the notes and I'm still not understanding it! Please can someone help? I've emailed Amy but not had a response yet xx

Peer pressure from a viewer of both of your podcasts! I would love to see your version, too Sandy! 🥰
Stacy, I've been pondering knitting this shawl for weeks. You've managed to convince me to cast on 😊 Thanks for the great vlog!

It sounds like it's so fun to knit!
Ok Stacy! You convinced me! It as already in my queue and now it's 7am and I'm going to stash dive for some yarn!
I started this shawl and took it off the needles. I missed the boarder instructions 😜 you are making me want to knit it again!!
I’ve made this shawl and I loved every single stitch of it ♥️

Great, now I have to make myself a Pressed Flowers shawl! I have yarn in mind, will have to check yardage. It's going to be so delicious!
This is amazing 🤩 thanks for sharing 🙏
I love you and your videos x
I love this pattern. I incorporated pieces of this pattern in other projects because i enjoyed it so much. Especially the one color row technique.
I can't wait to start this shawl! Yours is beautiful 😍

I also had to go up in needle size, went from a 4mm to a 5mm. Made the world of a difference.
I really, really want to knit this, it's up high on my must knit list. Yours is beautiful ❤️
I’m knitting this shawl in denim for MC and gold for CC. It is exactly as you described, squishing and lovely.
I’ve been curious about this shawl and now i think it’s something I NEED to make!! Thanks for the info! Yours is gorgeous!!!! Hope all is well! xoxo
YESS!!! I can't wait to see what colors you pick!
Beautiful shawl! Love your colors!
I have been thinking about knitting this, and I think this episode has signed the deal.
So inspired. I want to make one for myself and one for my sister now. 😊
Ok so its like mosaic crochet. I want to make this. Thanks for explaining it.
So beautiful 😍

I am a newer knitter and really appreciate your thoughts on this pattern. I’ve never knitted from a chart.

I’m so scared of this project - despite already having the pattern and materials I can never understand how to start 😂😅
Wait - can I use sock yarn??
The pattern calls for DK, if you held the sock yarn double I think it would work!
