I find Descript very interesting but, it may be me, in this video and the previous one, you went too fast. In the previous one, I didn’t know what Descript was for a while. After I realised it, both that video and this one went too fast for me. This is just my feedback. Keep up the good work!
I really appreciate constructive feedback like this. If you don't mind... Was I talking to fast without any pauses, was I not explaining things thoroughly enough, or did I fail to give enough background in the intro to explain what I was planning to show? I am constantly struggling to find the right pace and amount of detail. I usually feel like I'm talking to slow, have too many pauses, and I'm babbling or repeating things - I might be editing too much out when trying to compensate for that. When explaining something to someone face-to-face, I can read them and adjust on the fly. Since I can't do that with a video, I'm influenced (right or wrong) by the suggestion that people don't want long videos, or my stats showing most people bail after a few minutes. That's why I appreciate when a real person like you tells me how a video came across.
