They literally fumbled the bag

It took me a day on Kling to deliver a video and the result was really bad. In Pika, my prompt is pending for almost a week. Results from Haiper and Kaiber were just moving blurs. Most of the video generators around are just creating hype, probably to renew their contracts with investors and fund raisers. Minimax is a good promise but it's still an incomplete tool, with random results. The only useful tool today is LTX Studio. They are always improving their platform.

Hi. It looks interesting, but expensive. 25 video generations (5s) for $30/month. But it's very good for image generation/editing.

Hello, I am writing to you because, since August, I have created a subscription to clone voices of various anime characters. Until last week, everything was going well, and I was able to clone more than 4 different characters. Now, I wanted to start on my 5th character, but I am being asked to verify my own voice, something that was never requested before. The voices I am cloning come from anime, so it’s not my voice. Until now, there was no issue with this. I subscribed solely to clone anime voices, so what should I do? If there is no solution, I will have to cancel my subscription as the app will no longer be of use to me.

We should be cautious about Chinese products. I’m not certain about the origin of most AI-generated content, particularly if it comes from China or related countries (Hailuo too). One TH-camr attempted to cancel his subscription to a kling service, but he is still unable to do so, and they continue to charge his account.

Can I upload a mp3 file (voice text) to Cgdream to create me another mp3 which will now have images along with the voice text? I want to then upload this new Cgdream created mp3 to Tiktok?

From 5-6 mins a video to more than an hour now , Around 15-20 mins is fine but more than an hour to generate one video is crazy

Excellent tutorial. I have a standard account and can attest to the extra features being worthwhile but the video generation is a pro feature… sadly. It’s available now though. just days before putting the free plan and subscription i made videos in just under minutes, now it's just more than a hour for just one video.

Now its 10 dollars a month for 33 generations per month, considering it may take 33 generations to find a single one that actually works for your vision making a great tool into complete garbage. 100 dollars a month for unlimited is absolute robbery. Thanks for ruining this for everyone.

FYI Im pretty sure this is a Chinese business so keep that in mind. I had the exact same issue. The rate Ai is moving it won’t be long till open source free generative tools will be out

Things are getting to the point where it'd be cheaper to just buy a new PC with a decent vid card and generate locally with all the free software available (and zero censorship/limits).

Yep, 100% agreed. I don't have a problem of people creating images of politicians or celebrities. I do not have a problem with people generating explicit images for their own use if they aren't forcing it on others. But the amount of very questionable material with minor-lookalikes... that's problematic. I understand no real minors were hurt, but this is very shady teritorry. The Terms and conditions explicitly forbid it, but the moderation is nonexistant. Also the 'report' button is just something you click and all it does is say: "reported", but you never even get a free text field where you could explain what you are reporting and why. I would not be surprised if the reports are 'resolved' only by a bot and not a live employee.

Not anymore. Now it's the typical annoying subscription and all that annoying process. Plus 100 credits a day so that a single generation costs 30 credits and they also leave you in a queue of more than 10,000 people for 45 minutes and it only lasts 5 seconds? No thanks. Plus I don't use credit or debit cards.

70% or more of the generations do 't respect prompted camera movement at all. Hell will freeze o er before I pay for that. Checking out Kling now.

exact same issues, from sign up to eventually just seeing 99% and no video. Initially I tried to sign up with an .io email (google workspace) it did not recognise this as a "popular" email address type. anyway - junk. No idea what people are raving about.

I'm sure it's the latter, they are definitely trying to force you to subscribe by slowing down the free option :)

I appreciate the effort here, but I'll be waiting for a video generation tool that isn't so closely tied to the Chinese government through its investment partners. MiniMax has major backing from Chinese firms like Alibaba and Tencent, which are heavily influenced by the government. Given China's stated aspirations to lead in AI technology, including military applications, I have concerns about privacy and the potential for state influence. I'd prefer a tool developed without these strategic government ambitions.
