It's the servo. They will short out from chassis slap and cause the esc to not operate correctly. The esc will only power on but never go threw the cell count beeps. Iv went thru roughly 5 servos and everytime the servo will still work and turn the tires, but the esc won't work. (No throttle).. everytime it's the servo. Turn the remote off and power on and I bet the esc will do cell count and there will be power. Or unplug the servo and power on. Hope this helps.
Ya, people ask me why I don’t use belted tires on the xmaxx, I need the ballooning to get air control. The stock Talion tires are belted and don’t balloon. I was going to put different tires on mine right out the box. Awesome video! Just smooth in the air! Love it!!!!!!👊👍💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Did a speed test today. Talion EXB, 6S, 18T, Backflip LP, motor timing = 0, and added motor fan I got to 103 km/t that is 64 mph. That is fast enough for bashing 😀
Those tires make all the difference. Backflips are really great, mine is geared with an17 tooth pinion and it’s more than fast enough for me. I met a couple curbs at full speed and it wasn’t good, it’s been totaled twice. I try to be smarter but sometimes the need for speed is just too great gotta go when it’s ready. Great video.

The talion with stock tires is one of my all-time favorite on-road Bashers... And I enjoy jumping it with stock tires as well but I haven't gone big with it ever... But that's coming! I bought a pair of 4S backflips a few months ago but have yet to try them out on the talion. I definitely like them a lot when I briefly owned the 4S Outcast.
Yeah the stock tires seem fine if the car is staying on the ground but if you start jumping it and getting any kind of air it just has no air control and the 4S backflips will definitely come in handy.

Nice flight time! You might need to reset the Transmitter I had the same issue with a firma in one of 8s rigs. Once I reset the transmitter I was able to calibrate the esc

Recalibrate ad turn off avc on your transmitter then just get use to the truck it looks great man Iam waiting for my talion exb it’s coming Wednesday can’t wait to see it in person
Just to let you know if you're going to bash the Talion very hard you might put a bash bar on it I bent my Chassis on the 2nd time out! 80w rear 70w front shock oil works perfect for high jump also put some high temp silicone under back of motor so you don't break motor mount.
This could be a sweet ass rig but owning a revo I couldn’t ever see myself buying one. literally the same rc outside of sway bars and takes a lot more work to get it running right… kinda dissapointed in the air control of the stock tires because I was actually gonna pick them up for the revo! 🥲

I beat the shit out of it and haven’t had a break for over a year of skate park and rocky off-road bashing, added aluminum brace and 85mm straps and 2 motor fans running 20/46 gearing things bulletproof...the fans on the other hand I’ve broken a ton of and would love a durable fan recommendation other than gamechanger (think they would be suffocated since there’s not much headroom)
turn that crap AVC off on the receiver. it has gyro on it. just like a dumbo RC X6FG or the Traxxas TSM receivers. i thought it was a good feature to have, but what an annoyance!
@@BarstoneRC the gyro is in the receiver and if it is not turned off, then it is still affecting the control regardless of radio setting. don't take my word for it though!

My outcast 6s exb rtr did same thing it was receiver. Email hh they will send u 1 in mail no questions.
Now I’m not even getting any lights blinking on the ESC and if you hold down the buttons it won’t enter programming mode or anything?
