A few things I took from this MV...
• Jin getting a lot of centre in this melts my heart
• Angel Jimin and soulful V’s voice together kill me
• The driving past the empty stadium on an empty road to pan to them inside performing to no one had me in tears
• This MV is 10000% Jk’s vibe. Not sure if you’ve seen his other video stuff but it’s very vintage looking just like this MV
The majority of it filmed in their actual apartment (I know many still like to refer to us as their dorm), like how all of us have been quarantined in our homes.
I agree, the view of the stadium spoke so much. They want to be in their sold out stadiums with us so badly.
Oh my gosh I noticed Jin too in the center a lot and I was thinking I was the only one who saw it. Hugs. V's and Jimin's harmonies god so bloody good. Jimin bias and man he looked awesome. I still have not seen JK's films ty for sharing

This song was really one of healing & comfort. It spoke about how the current pandemic affected them but Suga reassures us (the army) that despite all that has happened & all that is going on, "thankfully between me & you nothing's changed", insinuating that the mutual love & support BTS has for us & we have for them remains the same. V's part spoke a lot about how this pandemic seems like it has "no end in sight" & "is there a way out" which it has come to seem like for them & a lot of us. He even looks at the stadium where they last performed in 2019, signifying that they miss the army & performing so much. RM's part spoke about it "looking like it'll rain again" & how he/they're "soaked to the bone" which highlights that they're very much saddened & drained by all that's happened with this pandemic but when he expresses "still won't stop, running faster than the cloud of rain" it shows that nothing, even this pandemic, will stop them from persisting & doing what they love. Jin also highlighted that we should close our eyes & "run away to that future" implying that we should be hopeful of the future, which will reunite us (the army) with them again. That's why when he sings that line he's in their dorm, but when he closes his eyes & opens them, they're all in the stadium. Many also speculate that when they were in the vehicle & Jin looks back, he represents BTS (all 7 of them) looking at the army & making sure they're okay. The last scene, shows the guys all dressed up in their outfits ready to perform, but the stadium is empty & light-up globes usually associated with the army, are used to represent us. This mv was also directed by JK & written by RM, Suga & J-Hope!! ❤
Love when Tae is singing " is there no way out" he is driving in the dark tunnel going towards the exit " the light" very symbolic. We are in a dark tunnel, wondering when this situation will end all the while knowing that it will end. The question is "when"

One of the thousands of things I love about these boys: they could have chosen a song that the general public could also easily "pop". Like hiphop, pop etc. But no, because they are so involved with their craft that they chose to create a masterpiece! Beautiful and cozy music for ARMY with the sole purpose of comforting and letting people know that everything will be fine and that life goes on. That's what sets BTS apart from everyone else. Very beautiful. I love them all!
Reading the comments makes me emotional. There’s so much heartaches this year but there’s also love everywhere.
So when they drive past the Olympic stadium, where they have performed and should have been performing now, V gets really thoughtful. Next scene, the boys are asleep and Jin slowly closes his eyes - and when he looks up again, he's at the concert. I teared up at that. I watched the ON:E concerts, and it was a really powerful experience. For me personally, but clearly also for them. When I saw the black and white from that same space, I gasped and couldn't stop myself from crying. This song, this MV, the sentiments behind it. It's all talking directly to me, in a way.
So this style of cinematography is Jungkooks- if you check out his GCF Films (golden closet films) [fun fact: Jungkooks studio is called the golden closet lol] in them you see the same documentary style capturing. I love seeing the guys through Jungkook's eyes. I don't know if you watched the vlive after or the press conference before but Jk explained that he wanted to present the guys just as he sees them and I love his take on things. I also love his voice and personality, he is so funny and yes, super sexy. I also know just what you mean about Suga's verses.....his words and his vibe & flow=just perfect! I also really love his verse in the beautiful song Blue & Grey and the dance vibe of his song Telepathy. These three songs are my favorites on the album. Recently when they went for a trip he took a Polaroid camera to shoot their real moments so everything just feels natural and not for camera just like a person keeping memories of their journey and the same were included in the album and the MV as well This is why half the MV is just them reminiscing their good moments outside in the open

Yes, they are watching themselves, reminiscing the old times where they were out and about freely living life but now they are taking this time to look back from the comfort of their home as their space is now reduced to those 4 walls just like all of us. Let’s not forget V raking in multiple 2020 most handsome, best face awards voted by fans globally. Chim and Jin are always up there too and the rest of the members are always in the top rankings as well. They all deserve recognition, all handsome, awesome and hugely talented! Btw, the critics are raving about Blue & Grey as the standout of the album already. Hell yeah, BTS self-produced gold!
They shot the last bit of the song in their concert venue (MAP OF THE SOUL:ONE) after the concert ended. They wanted to represent how they felt without ARMY by their side... Though there are army bombs surrounding them, its usually held by army singing together with them, but having just the army bombs without ARMY feels like a real sad story for them and vice versa for us too😢

The concept of the MV was documenting what they were doing and how they were living during this unprecedented time and JK did a great job in his directing skills. Guys its obvious that they are watching themselves. Brandon got it. They reminiscing. If u notice its still daylight when they are together in the couch, playing video games, then it gets dark at night they watch their filmed video. Tae look and just pass by the stadium while driving represent they should be there performing but they can't. Then at the end all of them fall asleep in the sofa, but Jin is the only one awake, he close his eyes and imagine the future (just like the lyrics says, lets close our eyes to the future lets run away) then we see a clip of them singing "Life goes on" on stage/ concert.

This song was like a warm hug. It really was such a loving message - this whole album was a sincere gift from them to ARMY. They were involved in EVERY aspect, and it shows.
Guys, you don't need to feel pressured to pick a bias. You can be OT7 and are in VERY good company. You can have two biases, you can have an ultimate bias (Jimin's mine), and a bias (Suga's mine). You can have line bias(es), ie: Suga's my rap line bias, V is my vocal line bias, Jimin is my dance line bias and my maknae line bias. RM is my Hyung line bias, Jin is my member-at-large bias and Kookie is my golden member bias. But Hobi is my ultimate bias wrecker to the point I think he's my Suga co-bias, lol. As for my genius bias, with all due respect to RM's high IQ and intellect, there is something so endearingly sweet and uber-SMART about how V sees the world, so he's mine. At the end of the day, I love all 7 brothers, just for different things, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

They are looking like having very much fun enjoying their free time in home, playing video games or watching their captured moments in their home theatre but they really miss being with the ARMYs and singing in front of them on a stage hence.... I love the "mh mh mh" too, 'people' is one of my favorite songs.
Life Goes On is so so comforting but sad but calming at the same time, it's like... It feels nostalgic and a bit melancholic? But with a very positive vibe and I love BTS for that.
There album really healed me especially Blue and Grey💗 the lyrics were so relatable to me and it made me feel understood and I’m so proud of our boys💗💗 love you guys too!!

The MV pulled every string of my heart:
1) When Taehyung (V) looks to the right while driving his car and looks at the stadium where they last performed a live concert (Seoul's olympic Stadium - Jamsil Stadium)
2) RM is seen alone outside with his bike, which he had to dust off from not using it in so long
3)The scene of BTS performing in an empty venue with the light sticks (known as ARMY bombs) behind them.

Suga's and Hobi's vocals are so good. First time they went back on stage with a virtual stage with fans checking in live Jimin had a breakdown on stage and couldn't stop crying, when it dawned on him that he was seeing fans live on screen. He later said that was the first time he noticed how not being able to connect with their fans had really weighed on him a lot and caused him to be depressed and he was so happy to finally reconnect. It was gut wrenching to watch, he is too tenderhearted for this world.
