Not Today was filmed at a quarry located in Korea. The flooring that looked like a block of ice isn't real though. They made it!

Since your first reaction to BTS I just knew Not Today would be your vibe. I always felt like you guys would have been cool extras in this MV lol. Not Today will always hold a special place in my heart because my sister actually found BTS first when she was going through stage 4 cancer treatment and she listened to NOT TODAY every day and it got her through the pain and surgeries. The docs gave her less than a year but She is miraculously now in remission and in good health 3 years later even though she decided not to do chemotherapy and went for alternative radiation treatments +changed her diet. NOT TODAY lyrics hold allot of power- “To all the underdogs in the world, a day may come when we lose but it is not today.Today We Fight!” Man, Music is a very powerful thing I truly think it’s a miracle...and BTS/Big Hit really do live up to their mission statement “Music and Artists for Healing” 💜🥰💜

So I'm not sure if anyone has commented this yet, but there's a few things I wanted to tell you guys about Not Today.
First, Not Today has lyrics inspired by one of Martin Luther King Jr.'s speeches. “If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
And secondly, you may have noticed a line in the lyrics that said "Hey crow-tits , all hands up
" So Baepsae(Or Crow-tits in English) is a type of bird in Korea, they are small white birds with short legs. But Baepsae or Crow-tits also refers to someone who tries hard to achieve something out of his league. In Not Today it means underdogs who fight hard.
If you guys ever have trouble with understanding BTS' lyrics I highly recommend checking out Doolsetbangtan! They translate all or almost all of BTS' songs to English. The best part is they explain words and phrases that people who do not understand Korean would otherwise miss.

It’s a great early BTS song. They were so young. And then a great part 2 to this would be WAB: The Eternal. This song is beautiful. A song written about BTS + Army. It’s so sweet and recent. The video is just behind the scenes which is a different cool look into getting to know them. I think this is a perfect well rounded reaction for them.

btw I'm not sure if any other army have mentioned this but all their music videos actually do follow a storyline. If you want to react to that storyline it's called "save me" i believe and it's made into a comic and webtoon. I don’t know if you guys noticed but during the bridge of the song when everyone was getting shot and falling and jungkook was looking at them all on the ground rly scared there was a part where it zoomed in on his eye.
