- Happy Halloween, little kiddies! Hope you're having a spooky night! Ooooooh awoooh booga booga boo! In this video we take a look at the time Batman broke into a vampire's house - a vampire that looks suspiciously like Christopher Lee's Dracula... It's not him tho, it's just some dude named Gustav DeCobra.
Even Batman must bow to the golden rule of genre writing: when in doubt just add vampires!
he's back! HE'S REALLY BACK!
Grell s artwork was getting better and the story looks entertaining.
the goat is backkk
It’s Halloween but it feels like Christmas with a new Rogues upload 🙏
"Gather around and laugh at it"? Some mean man just put cynicism in my trick or treat bag!
Could "Forgotten Supervillains" videos ever come back? Here are some good ones I found
Piecemeal (Hulk)
Mauvais (Wolverine)
Ogre and Ape (Batman)
Steggron (Spider-man)
Bloodscream (Wollverine)
Elephant-Man (She-Hulk)
The Batman vs. Dracula is one of my favorite Batman movies. It got me into the show that’s connected to it. Growing up, whenever it was on Cartoon Network, me and my twin sister made it a little tradition to watch it while eating Domino's pizza and Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes.
…lava crunch cakes were a thing?
It’s pretty crazy how often Batman has been fighting vampires😅
Why would the vampire exerting himself cause his heart to beat? It's not pumping blood if its not even inside of him.
Reading through the Bronze Age of Batman currently. The 70s where very hit and miss
The legend is back! Though, I don't understand why hasn't DC gave Batman a definite vampire villain? Spider-Man got Morbius so I don't see the problem here.
0:43 I’m reading the trilogy this week 🎃
Happy Halloween Rogues! Great review as always! For a ridiculous(yet entertaining) Batman vs vamp story, you should definitely do a review of LOTDK Sunset.
Fun fact Gustav Decobra returned in a Gotham Academy Annual in a bizarre story that also involved a time traveling Blight from Batman Beyond
Rich man breaks into house and attacks resident just because of his race.
"We have The Batman vs Dracula at home"
Hey Mr. Rogues i would be interested in hearing what you thought of the Penguin show on Hbo Max (or Sky Wow), if you have watched it ?
This comic is so silly & random, if it wasn’t for the art I’d believe it was from the silver age.
It feels nostalgic seeing you upload some again.
You know Bronze Age had lots of campy stories, right?
Yo Mr Rogue can you cover The Mime from Batman Issue 412 October 1987
Well, look at it this way Mistsa R...whenever Bats goes up against vamps...at least none of them sparkle.
The vampire hiding his heart like a lich is a neat idea. But Batman's method of finding it is pretty dubious; clearly an excuse for some more good old fashioned comic book violence
What better way to mix with Dracula than to be a man size bat
What I find funny is there’s sparks of genius with this version of Batman and I think this version of Batman is kind of an idiot kind of like the dude from the big Lebowski like the dude Batman has spouts of genius, but overall kind of a bumbling idiot, at least in this specific comic
Then in this story Alfred is basically Donny, especially with how he allows The Du- I mean Batman to just drag him upstairs
Usually the reason for these "vampires made of science" like Morbius and this guy was because it was a way around the limitations of the Comics Code that forbade horror creatures.
The other reason was really copyright, to differentiate from the Christopher Lee Dracula movies and avoid a lawsuit.
Ive seen the original Dracula 11 days ago on my 20th birthday when i got 30 universal monster movie collection on DVD. I still prefer Christopher Lee Dracula, and Horror of Dracula is my favorite Vampire Movie.
Also, good to see you again.
Are you back for good now rouges? We missed you!
It's Alive! It's Alive! The channel its alive.
And they say technology is progress. Bah these days if your car breaks down you don't go into the spooky house straight out of a horror movie you call uber.
Count Wayne from Gotham City 🧛🏻♂️ Creature of the Night! What cool Toys they have! Ha Ha Ha… 😈 🎃
Good to have you back Rogues and happy halloween 🎃
Honestly i like this comic Gustav is a really cool one shot villain imo, apparently Decobra has appeared in cameos in other stories. I have this story too.
Good to have u back love the vids
Here are my suggestions for horror themed DC comics:
-Blackest Night
-DCeased
-DC vs Vampires
-New 52 Animal Man
-New 52 Black Hand #1
-New 52 Solomon Grundy #1
-Alan Moore´s Swamp Thing
-Arkham Assylum: Living Hell
HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2024!!! 🎃🖤
that was... a weird night to say the least
Happy Halloween Mr. Rogues! 🎃👻🕷️🦇
Getting strong The House With A Clock In Its Walls vibes from the device of Batman getting the heart to beat faster in order to detect it. Upon checking, that book was published in 1973.
Great to have you back!
Love your videos! Thank you for making more.
Keep up the great work, I love this channel
Happy Halloween!!! 🎃🍭👻🍫🙀
I did not realize that Mike Grell drew an issue of Batman.
You are missed rouges!
Though we disagree on Paul Dano’s portrayal of The Riddler, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on One Bad Day:The Riddler. There are many positives to this story, from the artwork, to the green eyeshadow, to the backstory, but I feel the same way about this as you do towards the Riddle Me That storyline.
Great video.
Dear heavens!
Bring baxk the paitent sessions for season 4 🙏
The early Bronze always used to abruptly end just right after the climax no contemplation or anything
I wanna hear how Mr Rogues would rewrite Bane
you don't need to
Your Back Baby
Not gonna lie, when i read the title i thought you would have talked about Mortimer Kadaver
That's strange. Usually, the 1950s are notorious for creating dumb and nonsensical Batman stories, especially the ones with colorful aliens. The 1970s is when Batman returned to his dark and brooding roots. Hell, it's the same era that gave us Man-Bat and Ra's al Ghul.
Could you do a video about Batman the Scottish Connection? It's a really obscure batman comic with no reviews on youtube besides a non english one
I think I prefer the 2004 Batman vs. Dracula over this comic.
Unban me from discord
So is mr rouge coming back? Or are these just old videos from patron?
These aren't old videos. I wouldn't say I'm quite coming back tho. Not entirely.
So you are de facto alive again?
Shh, you might scare him away!
So Batman's no kill rule doesn't apply to vampires? That's racist! 😢
*Nods*
First coment!
@mr.rogues4145 Hope you had a good Halloween my friend, best wishes from the UK as always. 😊
