I've been hearing recently by watching vids that the MBZ E350 (4th generation) is the best car manufactured (2014-2018), I would appreciate you reviewing one if all possible, thanks & I'm a new sub, you're doing a masterful job, keep up the good work!
funny you mention the mazda 6 cus thats the car I upgraded to this from! I'm loving it so far, it's a HUGE leap in tech and comfort. It's honestly a great car I have no big complaints so far. 8k miles later and its good. Only thing is maybe I wish it had better MPG but it ain't a hybrid it's fine.
I bought a 2025 K5 GT Gt1 package in Aurora Black Pearl for 38,600 OTD price and I love it. Drive in Sport + mode and it's great but have to watch your speed!
I viewed recently a vid by Destiny Peace who's vid is entitled "KIA K5 Honest Review: 1 Yr Update (Why I Regret Buying A KIA)", this woman has the exact same vehicle except I think hers was a 2023 model. She had a laundry list of problems with only 30k miles. After having viewed her vid, I would pause before running out & purchasing one, despite the K5's good looks & performance. I purchased a 2014 Optima 2014 SX (non-turbo) on Dec. 30th of last year & was warned on many vids to beware of excessive oil consumption, but luckily I haven't had to add a drop of oil in between oil changes. I haven't had any thing to go afoul either (thank heavens) despite it having 105k miles. I think the problem with KIA is their more focused on market share rather than quality, which translates into cutting costs & corners.
If you have both time and money (especially time), then go ahead and get a Korean car or a German car because time is what you’ll need to take it back and forth to the auto shop
It will be almost impossible fot the to compete at this price. People became accustomed to Hyundai and Kia offering a little more for a lot less. Without a price advantage. What are they offering? 10 year warranty. Its going to take more to get customers to take a chance on a brand with less than stellar reliability.
It's all about cost cutting. There is no positive way to spin that touch screen/climate controls in one ... Unless you're in the media that is, it's a talent but not a good one. I find it hard to believe that reviewers haven't noticed the steady march towards the bottom by ALL manufacturers. I've been buying cars for over 20 years and the quality is right back to where it was on domestic cars in the late 90's. It's like the media only exists to spin and lie to us, it's their job.
I have the 2025 K5 GT Line. That climate/media control screen is downright annoying. If I'm on the media screen, then I want to turn up the volume, it automatically switches to the climate control, turning up temperature. If im on the climate control screen and want to turn down the temperature, it goes over to media control, turning down the radio. Sometimes it works right and sometimes it doesn't. I even enabled the media screen to be my home controls, but that doesn't work either.
@@tonyhamilton7785 FYI there is a hidden menu. Touch and hold the Climate/Media control button on that smaller touch screen and it will give you an option to revert back to the previous screen after a few seconds

Sounds great. I envy you, this is my first choice for a new vehicle but Kia has decided not to offer the K5 in Canada any more. Very bummed out here.
Compared with BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, Mercedes C Class, Tesla Model 3, Lexus IS, Infiniti Q50, Acura TLX, & Genesis G70
Bro lowkey looks like Simon Pegg
Those aren't buttons for HVAC...it's a stupid touch screen
